As I stepped inside the elevator, I shook my head. It's a wonderful thing that what we're doing is done, and now we only need to fill the positions that are still vacant. I haven't had enough sleep in a month; if I don't get five hours of sleep, I generally get three. Lucas, on the other hand, cooperates despite my expectations that he would not. In actuality, Adams and him have the greatest work to do, while I am merely a backup to the failing plans. Nonetheless, my energy was depleted.
When the elevator doors opened, I was standing on the edge with my eyes closed. I didn't bother opening them because I didn't recognize a handful of the personnel here, and they had done the same thing to me. They may not even be aware that I am one of their bosses. I'm also feeling heavy and think I'm going to have a fever. I simply cocked my head till someone spoke from beside me.
"Shouldn't you rest while you're tired? You may now relax because the project is finished." Recognizing the speaker I just tighten the close of my eyelids. I didn't want to talk to him because I was the one who avoided him after what happened in the office. He also doesn't pay attention to me since, while I believe he is not serious about this business, I see that he is motivated to see it through.
I didn't say anything because, as much as I wanted to, I lacked the necessary fortitude. I'm starting to feel like I'm running out of strength. I might not even be able to step out of the elevator. The unfairness is that, regardless of the fact that he and Adams accomplished a lot, they appeared even fresher to me. I'm starting to notice a weakening in my knee. I thought I was unlucky to be feeling awful, but I didn't believe there was anything more I could do when the elevator abruptly stopped. It caused me to give up when my knees weakened and I sat down on the floor.
He approached me as a reaction to my unexpected tumble on the floor. Before doing so, he pressed the alarm button. When he touched me, I no longer struggled. I'm also having trouble breathing since there's no air flowing in. I think I have a fever because I can feel the heat in my breath and the redness in my eyes.
"Why did you come to work when you were sick?" His voice raised, yet I could sense his concern. He forced me to lie on his lap and caressed my forehead to feel how hot I was. It's normal to have a fever when you're exhausted; why is he making such a huge deal out of it? I gripped his arm in order to acquire strength to maintain myself in the sitting position. He simply observed what I was doing. I observed his unpaintable face as I leaned against the wall. I smiled, but he seemed particularly unimpressed with what I showed him.
"You haven't had a fever yet?" I said, although there was no disputing that I was unwell because of the weakness and hoarseness of my voice. I took a few deep breaths before shutting my eyes. I believe I essentially require rest. I just pushed myself too hard at work. I couldn't see his expression, so I couldn't tell if he was upset. "Don't go too near to me or you'll get sick. You are one of the company's necessities, and you may become sickly. ”
"I told you that I will make you tired, but I never said it this way," was the last thing I heard him say before I passed out. And before the voice surrounding me vanished, I felt him pick me up and then hear a tremendous boom, which I believe was when he kicked the elevator door. I didn't even consider what would happen next, instead falling asleep in his arms.

I awoke with no pain in my back. When I opened my eyes, I noticed a lovely interior design. Elegant but simple. Another design had a hanging lamp on the ceiling, and as I turned around, I found Lucas sleeping with his face resting on his bed. I glanced at the size of the bed and observed that it was large, so why is he lying in such a position? The towel that was on my brow slid off, and I noticed a basin of water with another towel in it. Did he help me?
I looked at the clock on the wall and discovered that it was 9 p.m. What was I thinking that I slept for so long? So, why did he direct me here rather than to my house? I believe I've been here since morning, and I just awoke. My stomach is also growling since I appear as though I haven't eaten anything. I was going to leave the bed because I didn't want to wake Lucas because I knew he was tired as well, but his hand was already wrapped around my waist even though I hadn't lowered my foot to the floor yet.
"Why do you get loose every time I attempt to hold you and lock you up?" He hadn't opened his eyes and was still laying face down on the bed. I moved my sight to him, not wanting to remove his possessive arm from around my waist. I don't want to withdraw it for reasons I don't understand.
"I just want to eat," I explained. When my stomach rumbled and he heard it, I didn't have to prove what I said. My ear was crimson, but I shook it off. He'd already let go of my waist, and I felt a pang of sadness. He stood up and said something.
"I'll do everything for you; just rest now," he said as he walked away.
"Also, stop dreaming those kind of things. It hurts me seeing you that way."
