BDSM Play with My CEO

Chapter 76: What are you doing here?

Ch. 76 / 116 Dec 06, 2025

I nibbled the tip of the pen, wondering what was wrong and why he no longer wanted to have sex with me. When I first met him, he was like a beast on the prowl, but since I got a fever, he's avoided me like the plague. Ignoring the fact that I was the one who initiated it, he refused. I'm also feeling well, and I haven't had a fever in two weeks, so what else is he concerned about? I sprang on my swivel chair since the concept irritated me. When there was a knock on my door, I was walking back and forth from my office. I instantly switched my sight there, hoping it was Lucas.

But I was disappointed because it wasn't he who walked in, but Tiffany, who was carrying a lot of paper, so what I saw made me even more miserable. Instead of being delighted, my heart sank as I realized how much work I had to complete today. I turned around at the door and walked ahead, leaving Tiffany. She talked as I sat back down in the swivel chair and grabbed up the pen.

"Why does it look so bad to you to watch me coming in with so many papers? Look behind me as though you're expecting someone to come in!" She strewn a pile of papers on my desk. After I looked at them, I looked at her, who had her hand on her waist and couldn't seem to move away from what I was doing. I merely roll my eyes at the papers, grab one, and begin over.

I didn't respond to her question or mocking, but as she persisted, she drew my attention. I also let go of the pen in my hand. I set down the paper I was holding since what she was saying seemed natural to her, and she assumed it was just an annoyance on my part— not thinking that it had a big impact on me.

"If all you want to do is see Sir Lucas, don't make plans because I constantly see him driving home with a woman in his car. He had a lady in his office with him one day when you were busy, and they both went home at the same time. " Her hand was moving. I couldn't say anything since what she was saying appeared to be true. As I rose from my seat, she swiftly returned her attention to me. I went out to my office without notifying her.

Every step seemed weighty, it felt like someone was urging me not to go any farther because I would only discover something I didn't like. New employees are staring at me since the others I pass by are bumping into me. When I arrived at the other side of his door, I stood silently there, waiting for myself to move willingly since I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to enter since the two of us had no relationship. But just as I was going to return since Tiffany was probably joking, someone patted me on the shoulder. I envisioned a woman with short hair and Barbie eyes as I took a look at her. I was nearly taken aback by how stunning she looked.

"Why aren't you coming in yet?" said the woman, and her dimple appeared as she spoke. She was just astounded by me, so she waved her hand in front of my face and proceeded. "Are you Lucas' secretary?" Her query aroused my spirit, and I seemed to have lost myself. Perhaps she is Tiffany talking about. I promptly took a step back.

“Y-yes. I-I just wanted to ask a concern, but it appears that everything is in order." I smiled at her and immediately moved away from there. As I walked back, my chest clenched and I didn't realize my tears were already pouring. I clutched my chest, as a flood of questions descended on me. Is it only me who worries about all that happened between us? I believed he genuinely cared about me. Why? What did he think of me at the time? Is it possible that feelings just do not exist? As soon as I walked into my office, I picked up my phone and dialed his number.

But I also dropped the call as soon as he canceled it. I laughed quietly to myself. I want to scream at myself because I seek attention so badly that I quickly offer my heart to the person who shows up to me even though they have no meaning. Because I'm pitiful, I want to die laughing. I couldn't stop myself from heading to the person who didn't care for me and whose only sentiments for me were pure flesh calls.

I blocked his phone numbers. I don't have to wait any longer since I've already seen the truth with my own eyes. I locked the door so no one could see me weeping. Instead of focusing on my work, I was preoccupied with sobbing. I let the large grains of tears fall since I knew they'd be gone soon. I'm going to be OK. With my eyelids so fatigued, I just let myself sleep till I woke up without losing the weight of pain.

I took up the mirror and looked at myself in it, and my eye was swollen like a fish due to the puffiness. I sighed, I'll go home earlier rather than waste my time and energy in the office. I disregarded the papers that dropped, and I'll deal with them tomorrow. The key thing now is that I can go home because it's not good for Tiffany to see me like this because she'll ask questions and I'll be too tired to tell her what happened.

I stood up and opened the door, but when I saw someone standing there, all I felt was a circle of ice in my heart.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, my face expressionless.
