Unwanted Mate

Chapter 132

Ch. 132 / 165 Jun 23, 2025

The sun was blazing high in the sky, casting its warm rays onto Celeste's eyelids, causing a playful flutter. But the light didn't seem content with staying put. Instead, it wiggled and jiggled, driving Celeste to the brink of annoyance.

Unable to resist any longer, she cracked open her eyes.

To her surprise, it wasn't Jeremy who greeted her, but another face she knew all too well. Why on earth was Kent here again?

"Seriously, why am I not the least bit surprised to see you standing at my bed like a pervert?" Celeste quipped, suppressing a yawn and a sigh.

She had thought their defenses were reinforced, but it seemed like nothing had changed at all. Kent still had a knack for sneaking in whenever he pleased. As Celeste glanced to the side, she spotted Jeremy, peacefully lost in dreamland. No doubt he had fallen victim to yet another sleep spell.

And then, like a bolt of lightning, she remembered what they had gotten up to the night before. Oh, boy! They started off on the couch, then ventured to the bed, keeping themselves occupied until the wee hours, not giving a damn about rest at all.

The mere recollection of their activities flushed Celeste's cheeks a deep shade of crimson. The entire room seemed saturated with the lingering scent of their desires. Clothing was scattered carelessly across the floor, untamed chaos born from their insatiable passion.

Sure, they had initially tried to stifle their moans and groans, but eventually, they threw caution to the wind. Dear Goddess, Celeste couldn't help but wonder if the other werewolves had heard them. Chances were pretty damn high. She groaned.

Kent, undoubtedly sensing the aftermath of what had happened the night before, swept his gaze around the room, pausing for a tantalizing moment on the disheveled pile of garments. Then, his eyes returned to Celeste.

"Well, seems like you two had a wild night," he remarked, raising an eyebrow. Yet, Celeste couldn't shake off the peculiar strain in his voice, as if he was squeezing out the words from deep within his throat.

"Why are you here?" Celeste swiftly diverted the conversation, uninterested in divulging the details of her own sex life. "Last time, you warned us of dire consequences if we dared set foot in your territory again. So, what's the special occasion for your unexpected visit here now?"

The current situation was like déjà vu from Kent's last visit, but with a spicy twist. Celeste was still naked, cozied up under the covers with Jeremy, while Kent stood there fully clothed, the picture of modesty. But this time it was a whole lot different, especially after the steamy events that went down between Jeremy and Celeste last night...

As Celeste stirred, she realized her waist was screaming in protest. It seemed that all the pent-up desires they had been suppressing had an epic release party last night. She could practically feel Jeremy and her desperately trying to regain control, but in the end, their desires had them chanting "mate, mate, mate" like two wild beasts.

Now, Celeste had absolutely no doubt that her body beneath those sheets was covered in the unmistakable marks of Jeremy's desire. And don't even get her started on the blatant love bites adorning her neck. They were like badges of honor, proudly announcing her claim.

Just thinking about it made her neck itch like crazy. With a swift motion, she moved, and the sheets slid down a little, revealing the tantalizing marks on her neck. Kent's eyes narrowed, his body momentarily freezing up, but he kept his lips sealed.

He turned around, facing Celeste, and said, "Get up. We've got some serious business to discuss. It's about the hunter."

His words instantly wiped away any traces of embarrassment or sleepiness from Celeste's mind. "You've got news about the hunter? Spill the beans!"

"Oh, we'll get to that, sweetheart," Kent replied, casually swiveling away to give Celeste some privacy to slip into her clothes. She scurried to collect her scattered garments and hastily got dressed.

As she glanced back, she noticed Jeremy still snugly nestled in bed, blissfully lost in dreamland. "You enchanted him with your sleep magic again, didn't you? You do realize that's just going to make him want to give you a good old whack, right?"

  Kent just shrugged nonchalantly.

Celeste's memory sparked, recalling how Kent had managed to break the sleep spell last time. So she snapped her fingers and said, "Awake!"

Anticipating an immediate reaction, she imagined Jeremy's eyes popping open, catching a whiff of Kent's unmistakable scent, and leaping up to land a punch on the rogue. However, to her dismay, Jeremy remained serene, blissfully lost in dreamland.

Furrowing her brow, Celeste couldn't help but voice her confusion, "What on earth? What did you do to him? Wasn't it sleep magic this time?"

Kent shrugged his shoulders once again. "Who said I ever cast a sleep spell on him?"

"What do you mean? Then what kind of spell did you unleash?" Celeste crossed her arms, eyeing Kent with a mixture of annoyance and curiosity.

"I'm just a werewolf, not a witch. Isn't it possible that I didn't cast any spell at all? Perhaps he's just sleeping in because of the night you had yesterday," Kent replied.

Celeste paused for a moment, her cheeks reddening slightly.

Determined to awaken Jeremy, she leaned down and shook the man gently. Jeremy emitted a dissatisfied grumble, turning his head and burying it deep beneath the pillow, as if trying to escape the intrusion.

Rolling her eyes, Celeste prodded his shoulder with her finger. Yet, Jeremy merely shrugged it off, unfazed. Just as she was about to reach for his shoulder once more, Jeremy extended his arm, catching her by surprise. With a swift motion, he pulled her into his warm embrace, causing them both to tumble onto the bed. His arms and legs effortlessly encircled her, creating an affectionate prison that trapped her in his embrace.

Celeste couldn't deny the thrill of being held this way, a fleeting desire to drift back into dreamland and remain in his tender embrace. But she knew all too well that Kent's eyes were silently observing them.

Dropping her gaze, Celeste whispered softly into Jeremy's ear, her voice filled with a playful hint, "Haven't you noticed the peculiar scent in the air?"

Jeremy grumbled in response, his nose twitching ever so slightly as if compelled by the sound of Celeste's voice.

But it took him several seconds before his senses awakened to the scent lingering in the atmosphere.

And then, as if a switch had been flipped, Jeremy snapped open his eyes.
