The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 105

Ch. 105 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero's perspective

"With your second chance, mate, Eero. None other than Miguel." I zoned out at the image of my adoptive father.

"Congratulations on your match, Eero. You and the future Alpha of the Blackthorn is a match made in heaven," Aelice said enthusiastically to break off the tension between me and Alpha King Codrus.

"Aren't you going to say something to the Luna Queen? She greeted you, Eero." I blinked my eyes and put my lips on a thin line. Words failed to come out from my lips, and before I even knew it. I was walking away from the ruling couple of the pack.

"You, do you have your phone with you?" I asked my servant after I blocked her from leaving my room.

"The Beta forbids us to use our phone during our working hours, your grace. I have a phone, but it's down on the maid's quarter."

"Can you sneak it here? I need to make a phone call." The servant flashed a reluctant smile.

"I'll pay you. How about a thousand dollars?" I closed my eyes and lightly shook my head, "Five thousand dollars for a minute call, please." I held her hand, "You're the only one I can ask for this favor."

My servant nodded her head, smiling from ear to ear as she quickly made money.

"I can't promise the time, but I will certainly bring the phone that you need before the sunset," she promised.

I held on to the words of my servant, but as the hour passed, I began to lose hope in her until the door to my room opened, and she walked in.

"Your grace, the phone. It's here!" she said, whispering. She took the phone from her waist, and as soon as I got a hold of it. I dialed Claudius' number.

His phone continued to ring, but the call dropped. I was biting my finger to relieve my anxiety.

"Please pick up your phone, Claudius. I need you to take me from here. I don't want to marry Miguel and take him as my second chance mate." I thought to myself.

The second time that I attempted to call him. It was delivered straight to his voicemail. Claudius turned off his phone.

"Claudius, are you abandoning me now, huh? I don't understand. How can you do this to me again?" I whispered.

The door cracked open, and I quickly hid my servant's phone behind my back.

"Your Grace." The pack Doctor respectfully acknowledged me before he placed a cup on my center table.

"What is that?" I asked.

"It's a tea that I made myself. It will help you get rid of troubles that might come for you in the future. The Alpha King asked me to serve it to you."

"Didn't the Alpha King hear me? I already told him. Nothing happened to me and Claudius Cormac, so there is no need for me to drink that. There was no pup in my womb that needs to be got rid of!" I said, gnashing my teeth.

"Please, your grace. We are not your enemy here. As a matter of fact, we're trying to look after you."

I shut my eyes. The muscles on my jaw clenched in anger.

"Fine. Leave it there, and I'll drink that when it's colder."

"You have to drink it now, your grace. The Alpha King instructed me not to leave your room until you had dried out the tea from your cup."

I was fed up and feeling cornered by them. I stood up from my seat and drank the tea in one slurp before I purposely dropped the cup on the floor to express my anger.

"Leave my room. All of you!" I shouted at the Doctor and to my servant, too. As they were making their way out of my room, an unexpected shifter showed up.

"You! I know that you're the one behind these rumors."

"Rumors? Are you sure that these are just scandalous rumors, your grace? I am anything but a liar. I'll never spread a word that might ruin the pack that I had given my whole life to serve."

"If you think that this will make Codrus replace me as his heir with an unborn pup that Aelice and the Alpha King will have in the future. You're mistaken." I stood proudly in front of the cunning beta.

"I will walk over your future grandchildren as I ascend to my throne and become the Alpha. You'll realize that selling Aelice to the Alpha King wouldn't help you put your line on the throne."

"Your grace, you're fuming, and it's so unladylike. Be sure to redeem your composure before you come to the court because the Alpha King calls for your presence," Beta Octavio said in a mocking voice.

The Alpha King comfortably sat on his throne, wearing his crown.

"I'm not marrying Miguel Blackthorn, Alpha. Claudius had claimed me as his second chance, and before I could claim another mate. Claudius needs to reject me first!" I said.

The Alpha King eyed the door, expecting someone to show up, and at the exact moment, I turned to the door. Claudius slowly made his way to the throne.

"Claudius!" I said, and I was about to walk towards him, but the coldness in his eyes made me still.

"I'm sending him to Greece to become the CEO of our Amman Hotel there, but in return, he won't be allowed to set his foot back here in Regulus, and he'll give up his right to Perseus."

I chose to ignore the Alpha King and waited for Claudius to debunk all of it.

"You'll get Perseus back after your mating ceremony with Miguel Blackthorn through an adoption," the Alpha King added, but my eyes remained on Claudius.

"You agreed to this? You will leave me and your pup for some fucking company?!" I asked, hitting his chest, but Claudius remained emotionless.

"I, Claudius Cormac, reject Eero, the Alpha King's daughter, as my second chance mate. She is now free to be claimed by another shifter," Claudius said while staring straight into my eyes
