"See you again, class. I'll check your reports tomorrow, you already know the consequences when you show nothing." That was the last thing professor Karyl said before leaving the room.
My classmates, including Sabrina, were upset, because Miyuki and I really didn't want professor Karyl.
It is said to be rude and strict.
"Saiko, did you write the--"
"Go home, Arrow, enough of the lesson." Sabrina cuts me off.
It was already reclining in his chair.
"You really are," I said shakily.
"Let's go home, guys, I'm really sleepy," Miyuki pleaded as she leaned on her desk.
"You go first, I'll go to the library first," Saiko said while arranging her things.
"I'm fine, Saiko. I'll also look for the book that professor Fred said earlier," I said with a smile.
He nodded and smiled slightly. "Arrow and I will go first, you Sabrina, take off your make-up before you go to sleep."
Sabrina nodded and stared at Saiko.
"Yes mommy!" its repulsive answer.
Saiko and I went out first, I want to do what professor Karyl asked us to do now.
He was looking for the book written by Jeen David, because that is where the origin of the silk clothes that we are supposed to report to be in History is written.
When Saiko and I found the book we wanted, we sat down at a table.
"What are you reading, Saiko?" I asked him while looking at the book he was holding.
"Dream or Wander," he replied simply.
"Who wrote that?" I'm still curious.
"Aundrei Santillan." I was surprised by the name he said.
"Really? He's also a good painter, I've already collected a lot of his paintings," I said with a smile.
He looked up and circled me. "They are twins, Arrow. The one you are referring to is Audrey, and the writer of this book is Aundrei Santillan."
I was stunned for a moment by what he said, Audrey Santillan has twins. He's a great painter, what's even cooler is that he has a twin author.
"Mind if I join you two?" We both turned to the man who spoke.
I gasped when I realized who it was.
I looked at Saiko and she was looking at me exactly.
"Y-Yeah," Saiko answered Homer's question.
Homer quickly sat down in the chair opposite us.
"Hello, Arrow. It's nice to meet you again." She smiled causing dimples to appear on both her cheeks.
He looks like a really kind and sweet guy, so I don't really know if he should be scared.
"N-Nice to meet you too," I replied.
He laughed slightly and shook his head to look at me.
"You don't have to be shy when I'm around, we're friends now, Arrow." He even raised an eyebrow after saying that.
I turned to Saiko first before answering. "Thanks k-if you want to be my friend, but--"
"Don't deny my friendship porket you already know my position. I really want to be one of your friends." He is sincere because that's what I see in his eyes.
"Give me two valid reasons why you want to be friends with my friend," Saiko bravely replied.
Homer just smiled. "First is, she looks nice. And second is ..."
Hang him first before turning to me.
"I like Sabrina."
Saiko and I were both shocked to admit it.
I laughed next to him while Saiko shook her head and laughed as well.
"You're a user, you want to be my friend so you can be close to my friend," I teased him.
Blushing, he scratched his ear. "I like Sabrina, I really like her. It's been a long time. But I'm just scared of her two friends, I'm scared to come. So when I noticed that Sabrina seemed so close to you, I just approached you."
I was shaken by his explanation.
"You're just going to confess why you haven't addressed Sabrina yet. Come on, Saiko?" I shouldered Saiko next to me. "It's not eating. He's kind, just rude sometimes."
They both laughed at what I said.
"Please don't tell this to Sabrina, I just want to be close to her. And one more thing, I also really want you to be friends." He even put two feet on the table.
I rebuked him weakly.
"That's not good, mommy's teaching and don't act like you're at home," I preached to her.
Her dimples came out as she smiled. "I wonder why you're here. You don't look like a rebel, maybe your IQ is 200?" he joked.
"Mommy and daddy know each other here, Aunt Kathleen so I got in right away. I also went in here because mommy said the professors here are good," I explained at length.
"I agree with that thought, but some of the students here really sucks. The behavior of others here is not good. But not me, okay?" he laughed softly.
"You look like a good puppy," Saiko whispered to me with a giggle.
"I accept that as a compliment, miss Zhen."
Saiko looked up and stared at it. "I don't have a pack even if you're still in rank 5, and since you like my friend, you'll pass us first."
I shook my head at Homer. "Oh, Homer. You're okay with me, you don't have to go through. Miyuki and Saiko, they're pretty hot -headed."
I even thumbs up at him. He also thumbs up and smiled at me broadly.
"What the, Arrow. Are you betraying Sabrina to that man?" Saiko asked me sharply.
"No, ah. But it looks like that too," I replied smiling.
Homer winked at me and I smiled back.
Saiko looked at me in disbelief.
"You playboy," Saiko whispered to Homer.
"What? I'm not a playboy, ah. You see, I'm a very serious person." Saiko and I were stunned by what he said.
"With that face of yours, no one will believe you mister top 5." Saiko answered it.
I'm glad to see that he doesn't seem to be afraid to talk to Homer anymore.
And I'm happy that I have a new friend again.
