"Hello. I'm Arrow Perez, 21 years old." I politely bowed in front of the three of them.
They said nothing and just stared at me as if I had been born with two heads. I really don’t know if they like me or not.
"You are so polite. You don't belong here," Saiko said coldly and glared at me.
I smiled bitterly at what she said. Don't they want me to be their friend?
"I'm Saiko Zhen by the way, don't bother shaking hands with me, I won't accept it."
I bowed my head because I didn't want them to see the tears welling up in my eyes.
"Hi beauty, I am Sabrina Merell, and I love your face and your eyes!" I smiled sweetly at Sabrina because of her sweetness.
"Miyuki Gondranios, and Saiko's right, you don't belong here, Arrow. We are just warning you."
I bit my lower lip when I felt the hot liquid on my cheeks.
Why don't they want me here? I'm not doing anything wrong to them. I just want to be friends with new people. I couldn't stop sobbing.
"What the. Are you crying ?!" I heard Saiko say as she held me on both shoulders.
I wiped my tears away to tell them that I’m fine, but I couldn’t stop crying.
"I'm sorry, I'm s-sorry. I don't know what d-did I do wrong, I just want you to be my friend." I let out a soft sob.
I really don't want anyone to get mad at me, I just want everyone to be friends with me, is that bad?
"Oh gosh, pretty, don't cry. Hey! The two of you, Arrow’s not doing anything wrong but you’re so mean to her!" Sabrina shouted as she barely hugged me.
I felt relief suddenly because of her hug.
I bowed to Saiko and Miyuki. "I'm sorry if I did something t-that you didn't like."
"N-No, no. I'm sorry too, we didn't mean to say that." Saiko comforted me which made my cry louder.
I thought they didn't want me to stay here.
"You're so cute Arrow, I just said that to protect you. Especially since you're so soft, many students would make fun of you here." I frowned at what Miyuki said.
I wiped away my tears. "P-Protect? I'm not a criminal, t-the police aren't chasing me."
They chuckled all together which added even more confusion to me.
"Arrow, you are so innocent, you should know first what kind of students are here," Saiko said seriously next to me.
"Why?" I asked.
I really want to know why they’re talking like this.
"Most of the students here are rebels, Arrow. The students here are smart, but inside the University, we are all rebels here," Sabrina explained while slowly caressing my hand.
I smiled at her as he was stunned. She's so sweet, she's been so sweet to me ever since and I'm glad.
"Are you all rebels here?”
"No, some of the students here are from other Universities who are sent here because they are beyond talented." Miyuki answered me.
"Do you guys bully weak people h-here?" I added
"The behaviour of the students here isn't that superficial, when someone harms them or picks up a fight, that's where the trouble starts. But the students here aren't totally that evil," Sabrina said.
"But why are you sending me away? I won't fight them, promise, I'm just a student--"
"You're so beautiful, Arrow. You think people would go easy on you?" Saiko asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I-I'm not even that beautiful--"
"Oh shut up, Arrow, you're so fucking stunning. If I own that face, I'll definitely get one hundred boyfriends." Sabrina winked at me with a smile.
In a short time, I immediately knew the difference between the three of them.
Miyuki, she’s an intimidating woman but she really looks cool. Saiko, on the other hand, is quiet and serious. Then Sabrina is the sassy and somewhat bubbly among them. But no matter what their habits are, I will still be friends with them.
I was about to answer Sabrina but suddenly my attention turned to the counter I had seen.
I stood up on the sofa and hurriedly went there.
I picked up a stone in excitement. "Wow, it’s a beautiful rock, a pitch black one. Can I have this?”
I smiled at them and showed them the little rock I had picked up.
They just looked at me as if I had done something wrong.
I just ignored them and faced the counter again as I looked at the better shape of the stone I was holding.
"Wow, it was shaped like an A." I lifted the stone slightly which looked like an ‘A’.
I fidgeted to look further but I heard them talking behind me. I preferred to listen as I pretended to look at the stones.
"Boys will surely pick on her, guys. She's so perfect." Miyuki's voice.
"And Reid too, you know how insecure that woman is. So, Arrow and that woman shouldn’t cross paths because we can't handle Reid." That was Saiko's voice.
“But please! I want Arrow to stay here, I want a friend like her. She's so cute!" Sabrina's voice.
I'm glad she wants me to be his friend. Me too, I really want them all to be my friends. I just hope it wouldn’t be hard for me to be close to them because I want someone to be called a friend or best friend.
And it's happier when there are a lot of them, that’s what mommy said.
"Protect her no matter what, she'll still have a hard time in her first school year." I heard Miyuki say.
"Let's be friends with her, huh? She seems so nice and kind, I want her to be our friend." That's Sabrina's voice right now.
I smiled sweetly. I hope everything's gonna be fine.
