"If necessary don't talk to others, don't even approach anyone. Just talk to us, Arrow," Saiko warned me as she adjusted the belt on my pants.
I smiled at them then nodded. "Okay, copy."
Miyuki chuckled while savouring the lollipop in her mouth. "No need to be so polite, we are your friends now, and remember to stay by our side no matter what."
"And one more thing, Arrow, if you ever encounter someone named Reid. Just passed by, don't talk to her or what, okay?" I nodded at what Sabrina said.
"W-Why? Is she bad?" I asked curiously.
"Let's just say that she's quite strong, she's the sixth strongest here at the University and she's the only girl who made it to the top 10," Sabrina explained.
Maybe they're right, I won't talk to that Reid just in case we meet.
Maybe I just need to choose my friends.
"Is there a ranking here?" I asked them curiously.
"It's not really necessary, but the student voted for it." I nodded at what Miyuki said.
"If there's a poll of the most beautiful woman here, you're really in the first place." Sabrina pointed out to me as she laughed with Saiko.
"Why me?" I asked. They just laughed and shook their heads.
"Come on, I want to sit in the back so we should be early." Saiko pulled us out of the dorm.
"Is the dorm room based on the program we took?" I asked them while walking.
"Yes. So, we have the same program and schedule." Miyuki answered me.
"Wow, that seems nice. Let’s sit beside each other, okay?" I clung to their arms.
Saiko grinned. "No need to be sweet."
I nodded and let go of her. "Sabrina." I smiled sweetly at Sabrina.
She just laughed before offering her arms. I giggled as I clung on her.
"Saiko and Miyuki are really bad, Arrow. Just stick next to me. I really like you." She even pinched my cheek so I giggled.
"Thank you," I blushed.
We continued walking until we finally stepped outside our dormitory building. I swallowed and clung so tightly to Sabrina because of the stare of the students.
"W-Why are they staring?" I hugged Sabrina and Miyuki nervously.
I saw Miyuki glare at the other students. Maybe the others were also scared because of the thickness of her eyeliner, and her eyes are sharp too.
Saiko also stepped forward and looked at the others seriously. I turned to Sabrina as she stared at the women next to us. I giggled softly, they were so cool. They came back to me when the students were driven away.
"Why did you look at them in that way?" I questioned them.
Sabrina laughed and put her arm around me. "They're obviously staring at you, if we don't drive them away, more people will look at you. You'll be the center of attraction, so stupid people will notice you more here. We need to protect you from evil students," she replied.
Miyuki laughed at what Sabrina said. "Do you want us to make you ugly, Arrow? At least a little." They chuckled.
"Huh? W-Why?" I asked in astonishment.
They just shook their heads before accompanying me again.
We just followed Miyuki, but I still couldn't get rid of my grip on Sabrina because there were still some people looking in our direction.
Miyuki stopped in front of a classroom, she looked at us first before entering. I just followed Sabrina inside. There weren't many students yet, but everyone inside looked at me so I quickly clung to Saiko. She grabbed my hand and squeezed me into her body.
Until we got to the back the others were still staring at me.
"They're scary to look at," I whispered to Miyuki on my left, Sabrina and Saiko sat on her right next to me.
"What are you looking at?!" Sabrina shouted at them.
Some averted their eyes but the others just rolled their eyes. The courage of the three of them is really cool. If I was the one who did that, I'd surely faint.
"You know, Arrow, you should shout at them too so they would stop staring." Sabrina smiled at me sweetly.
"What? I don’t w-want to. They might get angry at me.” I said while pouting my lips.
The three of them were stunned by what I said, which surprised me. Did I say something bad?
"Saiko, where have you seen a person who criticizes but is still polite?" Miyuki asked and actually looked at Saiko.
"No one," Saiko replied shortly and stared at me. I leaned back in my chair and grunted.
Really?. When my mom scolds, it hurts me. I don’t want to scold other people because they would feel what I exactly felt back then.
Do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you.
That's what mommy and daddy always tell me so I should always follow. Hays, I miss them daddy and mommy. I sighed.
"That was deep." I looked in front of me when suddenly someone spoke.
Wow, he's handsome.
“W-What?" I asked shyly.
I saw him smile and sit up on a chair in front of me.
"Hello, I'm Homer Magdangal." He held out his hand which I accepted immediately.
"Hello too, I'm Arrow Perez." I smiled sweetly at him.
I saw that he was stunned for a while but recovered immediately. I looked at Sabrina but it was surprising that they were quiet, they also seemed to be pale.
"I just saw you now, are you new here?" I turned to Homer when he asked me again.
I nodded. "I just moved this semester."
He smiled causing his dimples to come out.
"I like you." I was stunned by what he said.
What?
I turned to Miyuki who also turned to Homer.
"What?" I asked him.
"I mean, I like you to be my friend. You're beautiful."
My forehead furrowed as I noticed that the others around me were also silent.
No one else speaks aside from the two of us.
"I-I also want you to be my f-friend," I replied.
"Great! We're friends now huh? And starting from today, when someone tries to harm you, just tell me." I was startled when he suddenly became serious.
I was forced to nod out of fear. He smiled again and bowed to Sabrina before leaving the room.
"S-Sabrina, why are you--"
"He's Homer Magdangal, Arrow. He ranked fifth place in the ranking here." I almost paled at what I heard.
"What have you gotten yourself into?" Miyuki asked, shaking her head.
I leaned back on the chair while pouting my lips.
