"Aren't you done yet?" We looked at Froze as if we were already bored.
He had just arrived, only now did Saiko and I noticed that we had been talking for a long time.
"Ofcour--"
"I'm not talking to you," Froze said coldly to Sabrina.
My friend turned pale at the coldness of his voice, even Saiko and I were startled.
"A-Ahh yes, it's over," I said hesitantly.
He turned to me and smiled. It was as if I was out of breath because of what he had done.
Every time he turned to me his expression softened.
"Nice, when Arrow talks like an angel," Miyuki whispered to the three of us.
I glared at him. "Just quiet!"
"The three of you, leave, Arrow needs to rest," full of authority, Froze said.
My three friends hesitated to get out of bed.
"Why does s-he do-here have to sleep?" Saikom asked stunned
"That jerks will surely dodge a chance to beat her again, and she's safer here." I turned to Froze because of what he said.
"B-Beat? A-Me? They'll hurt me? B-Why?" I cried.
I'm really scared, I'm not doing anything bad to them except throwing stones.
They did the wrong thing in the first place, the people here are really scary.
"You hurt their ego, my angel," Froze replied and even stroked my hair.
Surprisingly I turned to my friends as they giggled.
"What the fuck are you still doing here?" Froze's angry growl beside me.
My friends turned pale at Froze's sudden outburst.
I held Froze's hand tightly 'then looked up at it. "C-Can they stay here? Please?"
Begging, I looked at him as I caressed his hand. I'm always doing this when I'm trying to convince my mom.
I hope it still works.
He leaned on me and then stroked my cheek. "Of Course I'll give what my angel wants."
I secretly smiled and blushed at what he said.
"Yay! Thank you!" I turned to my friends. "Here you can sleep beside me."
They seemed pleased with what I said.
"Thank you," I smiled at Froze.
He smiled sweetly which made me blush before he left the room.
"Gee! What was that ?! He's really scary." Sabrina quickly hugged me.
I was just blown away by what he said.
"He thinks badly of us, Arrow, we're women but why does he seem to be jealous of us too?" Saiko asked tremblingly.
"E-I don't know about you! He's not bad, e. He's been kind to me before," I replied to them.
"Just you, do you know how scared we are every time he looks at us? It feels like he's gonna kill us," Miyuki said with a tinge of fear in her voice.
"It's good that he let us sleep here. Then, didn't he say that? When we get out of here, the men might come back and beat us." I turned pale at the thought of that again.
"Come on, let's sleep. I'm so tired, this day is tiring," Sabrina said artfully.
"Hep! I'll sleep beside Arrow," Saiko whispered as she hugged my arm.
"Your deceit!" Miyuki sighed.
Sabrina and Saiko just stared at him, I just silently watched them.
Sabrina stood to my right and Saiko to my left with Miyuki next to me.
Sabrina hugged me before hugging me, Saiko hugged me too.
"Sleep, Arrow, don't take that too seriously," Miyuki whispered as she stroked my hair.
"Yes," I replied.
I just let drowsiness pull me away.
I WAS OVERWHELMED when I heard a noise coming from outside the room.
I rolled my eyes and then looked at Sabrina who didn't wake up.
I slowly removed the blanket from the body, lest they wake Sabrina.
No noise, I got off the bed and quietly exited the room.
My forehead furrowed as the noise got even louder that I didn't know where it was coming from.
Seems like there are moans? It's also scary because they seem to be hurting.
I looked at the black door in the far corner. I feel like that's where the noise comes from.
I walked closer to it. I wasn't wrong because I knew that's where the noise was coming from.
What I hear is clearer now. It was the voice of the men who seemed to be hurting.
I was caught in my chest because of its throbbing.
What are those noises?
Someone is telling my brain that I should know what it is. But I'm trembling in fear.
I was about to turn the doorknob but was shocked when an arm curled around my waist and pressed me against the wall.
"F-Froze," I stammered to the man in front of me.
"Why are you still awake?" he asked softly.
"I-I woke up because I heard a noise there, I'm so-sorry." I bowed slightly after saying that.
It was as if courage had escaped me when he raised his hand and caressed my cheek.
"Don't do it again, my angel." I nodded in fear and nervousness.
"I'm so-sorry," I sincerely promised him.
"Shh, it's okay. Come on, look at me. Why are you so scared when I'm around?" His voice was tinged with mischief so I didn't look up at him on my own.
"N-No, ah! I was just shocked earlier, so I n-stutter." I want to correct my stuttering.
Who will believe what I said?
He chuckled mischievously then stared at me in amazement.
"You should rest, Arrow, go back to your room. I have some business to do." I could see the anger in his eyes when I looked at the black door.
"N-Is what are you going to do?" I will ask.
His eyes softened again as he faced me. "No, but it's enjoyable."
"S-Sige,"
"You want to know what my job is, Arrow?" I nodded curiously.
But I stiffened at his answer. "I punish people who are capable of hurting others, especially when you are involved."
