The Chosen Luna: Alpha’s Unwanted Daughter

The Stone’s Revelation

Ch. 472 / 790 May 05, 2026

The next morning brought no reprieve. The storm had subsided, but the oppressive weight of the King’s dark influence lingered, an invisible force pressing against them as they climbed higher into the treacherous terrain. Exhaustion was etched into every face, their tempers fraying under the strain.

Cassian’s frustration finally boiled over as they paused to catch their breath. He turned on Eryon, his amber eyes blazing. “Why are you even here? You’re as much of a liability as you are a threat.”

Eryon’s eyes narrowed, his claws flexing instinctively. “You think I wanted this?” he snarled, his voice low and dangerous. “You think I asked to be dragged into this nightmare?”

Lyra, weak from hunger and fatigue, tried to step between them, but neither man paid her any mind.

“You’re a ticking bomb,” Cassian growled, his voice dripping with contempt. “The King will use you the second he gets the chance.”

“And you’re a self-righteous brute,” Eryon shot back. “You’re so busy protecting your pride, you can’t see what really matters.”

Cassian lunged at Eryon, and the two clashed with feral intensity. Claws raked against flesh, and the sound of growls and snarls filled the air. Lyra shouted for them to stop, but her voice was drowned out by their battle.

Suddenly, a faint sparkle caught her eye. Turning her head, she saw something glimmering in the distance. It was faint at first, but as she stepped closer, the light grew brighter, pulsing like a heartbeat.

“Stop!” she screamed, her voice cutting through the chaos. Cassian and Eryon froze, panting and bloodied, as they turned to see her staring at the glowing object.

The group moved cautiously toward the source of the light. As they crested the final ridge, they saw it—the Moon Goddess Stone.

An enormous crystalline structure stood before them, its surface shimmering with an ethereal glow. The moonlight bathed it in a silvery aura, and the air around it hummed with ancient power.

Lyra stepped forward, her heart pounding as the stone’s energy washed over her. “This is it,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “This is what we’ve been searching for.”

Eryon approached hesitantly, the aura crackling against his corrupted form. He winced but pressed forward. “What happens now?”

Before anyone could answer, the stone flared with brilliant light, and a haunting voice echoed in their minds.

“Only the pure of heart may find redemption.”
