Chloe
Blake and I were having fun making dinner. We were making fresh pasta from scratch. I messed up the first few times. A part of me expected Blake to get angry at me. I should have known better. We laughed about it and tried again. The place was a mess, and so were we. We didn’t mind; it was all part of the fun.
I’m happy that I’m feeling better after a rough few days. Blake being there for me every step of the way, even when I tried to push him away, made me like him more. It made my feelings for him stronger.
“Shall we start to cook it?” he asks.
“Yes. It looks good, finally.” I giggle.
We had already made the sauce to go with it.
“It does. Well done, beautiful.” He says proudly.
“We did well.” I beam and kiss him softly.
Blake put the pasta onto cook, and I began to clean up our mess. Getting rid of our mess doesn’t take as long as I thought. And once Blake helps, we are finished in no time. I’m eager to taste it when it is ready. Hopefully, it will taste as good as it looks.
I hop up on the kitchen counter. Blake comes over and stands in front of me.
“That was fun. It has been a long time since I’ve cooked with someone.”
“I’ve never cooked with someone like that before. I enjoyed it.” I grin.
I grab his tee and pull him between my legs. Blake rests his hands on the counter, one on each side of my body.
“It can be our thing.”
Blake lifts one of his hands to stroke my cheek. I close my eyes, move into his touch and moan softly. His touch always makes me feel good.
“I would like that,” I breathe out.
“I would too, angel.” He whispers.
I open my eyes to look at him. Blake stares back at me.
“Beautiful. You are so beautiful, Chloe.” He compliments.
I blush, “Thank you.”
Blake draws in a breath, “Chloe, I am utterly smitten with you.”
I can hear slight nervousness in his voice. He’s worried his comment will freak me out.
“I am smitten with you too, Blake.” I coo.
Blake relaxes with my words. I close the space between us and press my lips to his. We moan in sync as we share the moment. I love his kisses. I scoot my ass to the end of the counter and slip my legs around him. I pull him closer to me. I deepen the kiss, and he groans into my lips.
He rests his hands on my thighs and massages them as he kisses back in the same way. I whimper into his lips and fist his tee.
Things become heated quickly. I pull back, but only because I need to catch my breath. If not for that, I would have continued. We’re panting. I open my eyes and smirk when I see Blake. His cheeks are flushed, his breathing heavy, and he runs his thumb over his lips, smiling.
“Are you okay, babe?” I giggle.
Blake finally opens his eyes to look at me, “Hmm, yes.” He breathes out.
I bite on my lower lip, “Blake. I am ready for more. You have been so patient with me, which I appreciate. But I am ready. I want you. I want all of you.” I whisper.
Blake hasn’t tried to pressure me into anything, not once. He has been kind, patient and gentle—things I am not used to. I trust him. He hasn’t given me any reason not to.
“Are you sure, sweetheart? I don’t mind waiting longer if it is what you want and need.” He says, caressing my cheek.
“I am sure. I want you, Blake. I need you. I need you to show me a man can be gentle, and real men don’t hurt women the way they have done me in the past.” I reply, not breaking eye contact once, so he knows I am confident with my choice.
“As long as you promise me that you will tell me if you change your mind at any time or start to freak out.”
He is such a good man—a gentle soul.
“I promise,” I smile and kiss him.
The kiss only lasts a second before we part.
“And I promise to be gentle. To show you not everyone is out to hurt you. I promise to show you how much I care for you.”
I believe every single word.
“I know you will, Blake. I trust you.”
I run my fingers through his hair and then down to his cheek. He closes his eyes and turns his face to kiss the palm of my hand.
“I like that you trust me, angel. I promise never to hurt you. We can have dinner and see where the night leads. We take it at your pace. No rush. No pressure.”
The tone of his voice is soft, and the same with the look in his eyes. Whenever he looks at me like that, it sends a shiver down my spine and makes my heart race faster.
“Yes. It sounds perfect.” I gush.
Blake steals another kiss before going to check on our food.
I am nervous about later, but I am also excited. I am eager for us to get to know each other’s bodies finally. I believe he will be a great lover. He isn’t a selfish man, and I think it will be the same in the bedroom. The pleasure will be for both and not only him. Another thing I am not used to. It will be amazing.
“Pasta is ready. Do you want to add the sauce, or shall I?” he asks.
“You can. I will set the table for us.”
I leave Blake to finish up preparing dinner, and I set the table for us. Once I am done, I stand and watch him. I find it very sexy that he can cook. It makes me want him more if that is even possible. I become distracted, staring at him until I hear him chuckle.
“Um, sorry,” I laugh.
“You have nothing to be sorry for, sweetness.” He winks.
He is always such a charmer. I can’t wait for us to take it to the next level. I just hope I don’t freak out when it comes down to it. But I know if I do, he will stop. It won’t be an issue. He won’t force me like my ex used to.
I still find it hard to believe sometimes that Blake wants me—no one else. I am unsure if I will ever get used to it.
