'Alex, what the f*ck! You want me to serve you alone? Who the hell are you? You molested me just now, but at least in front of the guest, you can't let me lose face.
Lita glared at Alex with hatred. She gritted her teeth and had the desire to bite him to vent her anger. In fact, she had bit him and pinched him five minutes ago as revenge for his pinching her butt. He provoked her first.
However, in Bella's eyes, Lita's glaring at Alex was one kind of flirtation in disguise. She was in fact seducing Alex. How scheming Lydia was!
Bella was more cultivated than Charlotte. She smiled gracefully and said, "Lita, I'll do it myself. You're the noble hostess of Selmy family now. Sit down and have breakfast with me."
"I've already had breakfast," said Lita. She couldn't stand Alex's arrogance and she didn't want to sit down at the same table with him.
What's more, she had promised Bella that she would try her best to bring her and Alex together. If the man knew what she was planning, he would probably punish her more severely.
When she saw Lita was about to leave, Bella quickly stood up and stopped her. "Lita, stay and keep me company! I won't feel alright eating without you."
Hearing Bella's words, Lita felt that it was not appropriate for her to leave Bella alone with Alex. Lita thus sat down far away from Alex. Bella quickly got a bowl of millet porridge for Lita.
"I took the liberty to stay at your house last night. Sorry to disturb you, Alex," Bella said gently.
"It's okay," Alex responded casually. He was cold and indifferent, still pulling a long face. However, his gaze swept gently across Lita that was about six feet from him and focused on eating the porridge.
The atmosphere seemed a little awkward. Bella failed to attract Alex's attention, but she remained calm. She followed the glance of Alex and looked at Lita too. "Lita, don't just eat the porridge. Eat some pastries. Don't you like potato cakes most?"
Bella to send Lita a small piece of sweet potato cake.
"Thank you," Lita murmured. When she looked up, she accidentally saw that the man's eyes were fixed on her. She suddenly felt uncomfortable and thought, 'What does Alex want?'
During the eight days when Alex was away, Lita repeatedly warned herself that she needed to keep a distance from him. She had to protect Ethan's reputation.
But now it seemed that it wasn't something she could decide by herself alone. What the hell was wrong with this man? Why should he keep pestering her all the time?
Not to mention any other woman, Bella, the notable young lady of Lisbon, was sitting beside him, within one arm's distance. But this man seemed to be quite indifferent to her. Why did he have to stare at Lita instead?
Two sizzling bacon shrimp rolls were sent to Lita's plate beside the bowl with porridge. Her eyes followed the arm to the handsome but stern face. "Eat them," he said. She couldn't say that it was an order but it was said with an air that didn't allow any contradiction.
To be honest, if Bella wasn't there at that time, Lita would have walked away with the bowl of porridge, not to mention eating the two bacon shrimp rolls.
Her lips still hurt because of man's violent kiss in the kitchen. Lita didn't know if the man had gone crazy, but she knew that this kind of behavior was immoral! She should have stopped him in the first place. But the man didn't feel ashamed at all for his assaulting on her, let alone self-reflected.
Lita really didn't understand why Alex had to do this to her. Had he ever thought about his brother's feeling? Ethan was like his father, and how could he have no respect for him on this matter?
Lita grieved and felt helpless and angry!
So, if one day, Alex took out the marriage certificate and said to her that the person you married was Alex from the beginning, Lita wouldn't feel happy. She would only feel cheated and hurt.
She wouldn't be able to forgive his lying and testing again and again, even if at that time, she had fallen in love with him so deeply that she couldn't leave him.
"Lita, see, Alex cares about you, his sister- in-law, so much." Bella deliberately emphasized the word "sister-in-law" in order to remind Lita not to do things out of the line.

Ethan and I are worried for him. Can you introduce him some pretty young ladies among your friends that are suitable for him? Somebody like you would be perfect."
Bella froze for a moment. She didn't expect that Lita would be so straightforward in front of Alex, because she saw the man's handsome face turn cold abruptly.
"I think there must be a lot of young ladies who admire Alex. Of course he doesn't need me to introduce to him," said Bella with a smile, and cleverly kicked the problem back to Lita. "Lita, don't you admire Alex too?"
Lita was stunned. Bella's question was too abrupt. Didn't she know that she was Ethan's wife? Why did she say that Lita admired Alex? Did... did she find out something?
This topic aroused Alex's interest. He put down the silver tableware in his hand and squinted at Lita, as if waiting for her response. It was an interesting question.
'Am I going to deny it? Why do I feel like I'm covering it up?"
'Do I have to admit it? Isn't it going to be chaotic? I can't be that shameless."
"I do admire people who are talented and respectable!" Lita's answer was very smart and tactful. In this way Alex should think it over if she was referring him or not. And it was a very good response to Bella's provocation.
After a pause, Lita continued, "Just like my Ethan. Although his appearance was ruined by the fire, he is determined and talented. Last time when we went to the shareholders' meeting of Selmy's Group, his decisive and effective performance won the hearts of the shareholders. I look up to him and admire him! He is worthy of my respect and my accompany for the rest of my life!"
She felt a sudden ache in her nose. Lita didn't want to shed tears, especially didn't want Alex to see her weak and helpless look. However, she got sad as she said and her eyes couldn't help turning red.
"I'm sorry. Excuse me." Lita stood up, forced a smile, and hurried to the bathroom.
