Lita was shocked. She quickly got up from the bed and asked anxiously, "Alex, are you going to give up your brother?"
It was better to die at home than in a foreign place? According to Alex's tone, it seemed that he did not intend to take Ethan abroad for further treatment and skin grafting surgery. Did Alex really want to give up saving Ethan's life?
"It's him who wants to give up himself and me, just for a woman!" Alex's eyes were bloodshot, filled with strong anger and hatred that one couldn't miss.
"Ethan...Is he going to give up his life for the woman named Yen?" Lita thought of what Alice had said before. Alice's words seemed to conform to what Alex said now.
Judging from Alex's stern and resentful look, he must have not lied to her. On the contrary, he looked sincere. In other words, what Alex said at this moment was true.
Ethan wanted to give up his life for the dead Yen? He didn't even want to do skin grafting? How deep his love for her was! Life and death couldn't separate them?

Lita walked over and squatted beside him, staring into his eyes. "Alex, please don't give up your brother, okay?"

Lita quietly stared at the man who was roaring, and remained calm. "Even so, you can't give up your brother!"
Alex was obviously stunned. He stared deeply into the woman's eyes. As Ethan said,the woman's eyes were very clear, firm and persistent. Occasionally, she could be cute and capricious.
"I won't give up my brother unless I die!" Alex said calmly after a long moment.
Lita nodded seriously and said, "Thank you, Alex."
'Thank me? Why? Because I won't give up my brohter? Are you still thinking you are Ethan's wife?' Alex was in no mood at this moment to confess to Lita that he was in fact her legal husband.
"By the way, when am not at home, you are not allowed to go out to mess around!" Alex warned in a cold voice.
Lita was caught off guard and felt embarrassed. 'When have I ever gone out and messed around? Who gives you the right to order me? You're just my husband's brother. Who do you think you are?'
Although she was indignant inside, she nodded obediently. She decided to tolerate him again. Considering that this man was in a bad mood, she didn't want to argue with him.
"Keep an eye on my brother. If he does any excessive actions while I'm away, you can tell him that Yen is still alive!"
"What? Yen is still alive?" Lita was really shocked.
"Yes!" Alex replied with certainty, "But you can't reveal this news unless you have to. Do you understand?"
Lita nodded obediently again. She knew Alex's intention - to stop Ethan's excessive behavior with this news, such as when he wanted to end his own life. Lita did not dare to think further.
"How long are you going to be away?" Lita asked in a soft voice. There was the worry and uneasiness as well as reluctance in her voice at the thought of Alex's being away.
"I'm not sure. Five days at least, maybe...no matter what the result would be, I'll be back within ten days."
"Okay, I'll wait for you." As if she worried that Alex might misunderstand her words, she added, "Ethan and will wait for you."
"Be good. Stay at home and...miss me." The man's finger slid across Lita's smooth pale face, then swept over the collar of her pajamas, pulled out the small pendant of her necklace. With a slight motion of his fingers,the pendant was resting in his palm.
It was an oval-shaped jade pendant with the word "safe" carved on it.
"Who gave this to you?" Alex asked coldly.
In view of his proud and indifferent attitude, Lita was not willing to answer, but she still replied after a second thought, "Dean Oliver gave it to me. "Yes," Lita replied softly.
"It belongs to me now," Alex declared overbearingly.
.." He was really an overbearing and barbaric man. However, Lita really hoped that this jade pendant could protect him in his trip. This jade pendant was just an inexpensive object. Why would a rich person like him want it?
"Alex, it's only 6 o'clock in the morning. You can sleep for a while. I'll go downstairs to prepare breakfast with Alixce." She felt sad for him when she saw his bloodshot eyes. He must haven't slept for a moment the whole night.
"Okay. And help me pack up my luggage too. Don't stuff in too many things."
After asking Alice, Lita knew that Alex used to live in this bedroom before she married Ethan. No wonder Aiden ran to the room frequently. He must have been used to it. In that case, she had misunderstood him?
But how could he explain his running into the guess room and sleeping in her bed then?
Lita was still puzzled. Why would they arrange her and Ethan to live in Alex's bedroom? With so many rooms in this villa, why did they have to use Alex's room as their bedroom?
Ann and Harry were so meticulous about everything. They wouldn't have done this randomly. So how could this happen?
