An hour later, Ben walked out of Ethan's treatment room.
In Ben's point of view, maybe it was a relief for Ethan to end his life, as he was more dead than alive. He was living a life without any quality. Every minute he went through was a torture to him.
But at the same time, Ben knew very well that Alex would never give up Ethan's life.
When he passed the living room, Ben saw Lita reclining on the sofa asleep, with a medical book opened in her arms. Her delicate and clean face, like a flower in the morning sunlight, was tender and full of vitality, making anyone who saw her feel warm in his heart.
It was indeed a good decision to find such a woman for Alex. Ben hoped that this woman's gentle, virtuous but also tough character could warm Alex's broken heart and clear the hatred that occupied his mind. Ben didn't wake her up to say goodbye with her. He just stopped to stare at her for a few seconds and then left the house.
After sending Ben away, Alice woke Lita up gently and reminded her to go back to her room to sleep.

"Yes, he just left. Mrs. Selmy, please go back to your room to sleep." Alice picked up the medical book on Lita's chest and put it away.
Another three days passed peacefully but also not peacefully.
She looked peaceful on the surface, but her heart couldn't have peace as she was worrying about him.

On the evening of the eighth day, another guest visited Selmy family. Bella brought some dessert that Lita liked very much.

"Really? That's great! I was going to stay at the hotel tonight to avoid my mother! Lita, thank you for taking me in!" Bella hugged Lita happily and snuggled up to Lita as if they were best friends.
Alice welcomed Bella, as this eldest daughter of Bishop family was well-behaved. Besides, her visit made Lita, who had been glum for several days, cheer up and smile brightly.
