"you as crazy as my brother?" Alex asked coldly.
"I have no choice! I owe him, so I have to do something to make it up for him." Ben stared deeply at Alex's angry face. "Hey, you know better than I do why your brother did this!"
Alex's eyes were filled with hatred. "If anything happens to my brother, no one can get away with it! As for the person who hurt my brother, I will make him pay with his life, no matter who he is!"
Seeing Alex was about to leave, Ben stopped him by saying, "Alex, wait a minute! Don't you want to see your woman's choice?"
Alex stopped, turned around and looked at the screen. He saw another figure appear on the screen. Even though the person was wearing a black full head mask, Alex recognized it to be Gavin at first glance, judging from his elegant manner.
Although Gavin was always surrounded by call girls, prostitutes or strippers, he maintained his refined and unworldly air. He was like a figure just coming out of an ink painting, who didn't belong to this world at all.
After yelling for a while, Lita found there was no response at all. Only the echo of her voice rang in the empty path. She then stopped this useless effort and returned to the sofa to keep her strength and observe.
About three minutes later, Gavin, who was wearing a black full-head mask which only revealed two eyes and the mouth, appeared.
When Lita saw that someone was coming, she immediately rushed from the sofa and threw herself on the iron bars. She said to Gavin in a hurry, "Hey, who are you? Let me get out."
"After what need to be done is done, we'll let you go. Take it easy!" Gavin replied casually, taking out a mobile phone from his pocket and waving it in front of her.
"Why would you lock me here? Where is this place? What do you want?" Lita asked uneasily.
"Because you are Alex's woman! I can't stand Alex's being so sneaky!"
Alex married a woman without letting anyone know. Even Gavin and him didn't know. Did Alex treat them as brothers? Look at this woman called Lita. She was no raving beauty. This made Gavin even angrier.
"I'm not Alex's woman! My husband is Ethan!" Lita corrected Gavin.
"What...what? Your...your husband is Ethan? Are you sure?" This time, it was Gavin's turn to be dumbfounded. 'No, she is obviously the woman Ethan forced upon Alex. How did she say she is Ethan's wife?'
"Of course I'm sure!" To Lita, this was a matter beyond all doubt. "Sir, could you please let me go?"
Lita saw that Gavin was nice relatively. His voice sounded not so brutal, so she begged him. Usually a woman's begging worked for the men. "Please, I have to go back to take care of my husband!"
'Well...how did she become Ethan's wife? It makes no sense!" Gavin seemed to be a little confused. But then he thought of Alex's arrogance and unruly character, Gavin seemed to understand something. "Hehe, it's interesting!"
Seeing Gavin mumble and grin to himself, Lita was puzzled. Why was this man so stupid? Was he too stupid to distinguish Ethan from Alex?
"Mrs. Selmy, I'll let you make a choice." Gavin raised the phone in his hand again and walked closer to Lita.
"So you know Ethan?" Lita suddenly asked because she heard the man call her Mrs. Selmy.
"No...I don't know him!" Gavin denied immediately, as he was afraid that after this matter was over, she would have a bad impression of him.
"But you just called me Mrs. Selmy! You must know Ethan!" Lita argued. "Since you know Ethan, let me go back now. I have to go take care him."
Gavin thought of the head mask he was wearing and that she couldn't see his face, so he put aside his worry and said, "I don't know Ethan! Even if know him, it won't stop me from kidnapping you! Make a choice, or...or I'll send you to Country! You know what the men would like to do to women in Country, don't you?"
Lita panicked. After all, she was a young lady, and she was in such a strange environment alone. She had to deal with a man who wore a head mask and spoke illogically.
"It's easy if you want me to let you go! You choose one person to call. Listen, there is only one chance. Ask that person bring a hundred million dollars ransom to bring you back. Remember, just one call!" Gavin began the game that he thought very interesting himself.
"I...I'm not worth so much!" Lita retorted instinctively. One hundred million, even if she was made of gold, she probably wouldn't be worth that price. Besides, who would be willing to pay one hundred million ransom for her? She couldn't even think about it!
"You're not worth that much?" Gavin's smile was graceful, but unfortunately, Lita couldn't see it, because he was still wearing the head mask. "That's not necessarily true! Maybe in someone's eyes, you're more valuable than one hundred million dollars!"
"Okay, hurry up, pick a person to make a call! Remember, there's only one chance!" Gavin urged.
He really wanted to know who this woman would choose to call for help. If the call was not for Alex, Alex would probably be so angry that he would jump madly. At least, Gavin thought that he would.
Lita stared at the phone in Gavin's hand and had an idea. So, she nodded obediently and said, "Okay, I'll make a call!"
Of course, Gavin would not give Lita the phone. He just asked Lita to give him the phone number. He wanted to take absolute initiative.
Lita gave Gavin a phone number and said to him, "Sir, could you please get closer? I can't hear it from so far away!"
The phone number she gave him was not Alex's. Gavin couldn't help feeling complacent. After a while, he would see the guy pull a long face in the monitoring room. His woman was held captive, and her first call was not for Alex, her husband... It was a great humiliation for that man!
When Gavin approached Lita who was behind the bars, in the twinkling of an eye, Lita reached out her arm and snatched the phone from Gavin's hand as fast as a whirlwind.
Gavin was almost dumbfounded! This woman was too scheming. Not only did she lie to him, but she even snatch his phone.
On the other hand, Alex, who was in the monitoring room, curved his lips into a smug smile. He was proud of the woman's smartness.
