My Mate Has Two Wolves

Chapter 441

Ch. 441 / 530 May 01, 2026

Third Person's POV

Now, none of them dared to return home after midnight. They all felt as if going home was like admitting to a mistake, so they prepared mental scripts, thinking about how to deal with the questioning.

This was the subtle difference between being unmarried and married in their minds.

"Blake, you and Catherine are already engaged. When do you plan to get married? How about having the wedding on the same day as ours? It might become a beautiful story," Benjamin asked with a smile, thinking that getting married on the same day could be quite a tale.

"Forget it. I don't want to run to two wedding venues in one day." Howard was the first to object, already looking forward to attending two wedding feasts.

The corners of Blake's mouth twitched into a smile. "I might actually get married before you. My grandmother has already set the date for us."

"Ah?" The other two were filled with shock. So sudden?

Blake nodded. "I've already started preparing the invitations. You two can't miss it."

"Rest assured," Howard said jokingly.

"That's good!" Blake replied with a sense of relief, earning him a pair of rolled eyes from Howard.

The three chatted until nine o'clock and were about to part ways.

On the way home, Blake called Leo to inquire about Olivia's situation.

Although he hated Olivia, considering her relationship with Sunny, he decided to leave the matter entirely to Leo—after all, striking the right balance in handling the situation wasn't easy.

If Sunny were to marry Leo in the future and he had ruthlessly sent Olivia to prison, their relationship would definitely become strained.

Family harmony was paramount, and Blake decided to let Leo bear the burden of responsibility, though he wondered if this made him a derelict older brother.

Back at the Royal Pack's residence, it was already past ten in the evening. Catherine was propping up her chin, reading a book.

She was about to start work and was preparing for it.

Hearing the door open, Catherine rubbed her eyes and asked in a low voice, "Did you have a good time chatting?"

Blake immediately nodded. "It was okay."

"I never expected they were getting married too." Catherine laughed, finding love to be such a wondrous thing.

Previously, Blake had mentioned Benjamin and Eda to her, and she had found it incredible. Cross-generational relationships faced more challenges, yet they managed to settle down so quickly.

"Eda's pregnant. Would they wait for the child to be born before getting married?" Blake laughed.

Catherine's face showed surprise. "Really? So it's because of the baby that they're in such a hurry!"

Blake came over and embraced her, placing a light kiss on her forehead. "I really want to know what it feels like to take care of a newborn."

Catherine rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Rest assured, it's definitely not a pleasant experience."

"Why? Is it tiring to take care of those two little ones? You must be working so hard," Blake, noticing her slightly irritable tone, immediately pictured her taking care of the twins and felt a pang of heartache.

Catherine smiled with pursed lips. "It is a bit tiring, but it's worth it. You've seen their photos right after birth, right? To be honest, they weren't very cute back then— all wrinkly. I felt like throwing them away after just one look!"

"You dare!" Blake knew she was joking, but his heart still skipped a beat. He gently lifted her chin, and his lips came down for a deep kiss.

Catherine's head spun from the kiss, and she immediately pushed him away. "If you really want to experience taking care of a newborn, wait for Leo's child. You'll definitely get to see one then."

Blake had intended to hint at having a child of their own but was cleverly sidestepped. He could only raise an eyebrow in silence. "Leo and Sunny have been having some issues lately. I don't know when they'll stabilize their relationship."

"What happened between them?" Catherine couldn't help but worry. Their relationship seemed to never have a moment's peace, with one hurdle after another.

Blake then composed himself and said gravely, "We found Olivia, but because Sunny hid her whereabouts, Leo caught her red-handed, and the two are at odds again."

"How did you find Olivia?" Catherine was full of surprise. She knew Blake had sent many people out to look for her, but there had been no news. Now that there was a sudden lead, it was indeed intriguing.

"She turned herself in to atone for her mistakes!" Blake found Olivia to be a cunning woman. She must be very intelligent and good at disguising herself; otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to evade capture for so long.

"Why would she do that? Does she feel there's no escape for her?" Catherine found this behavior rather unusual. It's often in moments of desperation that one thinks of turning back.

"Perhaps, but it could also be for Sunny," Blake sneered.

Catherine sighed as well. "I didn't expect their bond to be so deep."

"Hmm, let's not talk about her anymore. She's already been settled, so there's no worry of her running away," Blake didn't want to waste this precious time discussing someone he despised.

"Alright, go take a shower. I'll read for a bit longer. I have to report to the company tomorrow." Catherine smiled.

Blake took off his suit jacket, revealing a white dress shirt that made him look stunningly handsome and exuding an air of nobility.

Catherine said she was reading, but her gaze kept stealing to the man's figure.

Blake's physique was excellent. Wherever he was, he attracted countless eyes.

Catherine's heart had long been captivated. So, whenever he was by her side, she simply couldn't focus on anything else. It was as if Blake were the luminous center, and she just wanted to watch him.
