My Mate Has Two Wolves

Chapter 452

Ch. 452 / 530 May 01, 2026

"Wow, Mom, you have so many photos of Dad here! And there's one where he's not wearing any clothes!" the little girl exclaimed in surprise as she flipped through the album.

Hearing the words "not wearing any clothes," the coffee Blake was sipping nearly sprayed out.

He quickly leaned over to check the photo and was somewhat relieved to see it was just a picture of him sleeping in bed.

Catherine was already mortified. Truth be told, she had indeed taken quite a few sneaky photos of Blake, but these were meant for her private enjoyment.

Blake looked at Catherine with a meaningful smile, making her face flush.

"Why do you even take photos of me sleeping? Are you really that fond of taking my pictures?" he teased.

Catherine quickly snatched the phone away, turned it off, and stammered, "No, I only took a few. Speaking of which, the food hasn't arrived yet. I'm getting hungry."

Blake knew she was deliberately changing the subject, and his lips curled into a knowing smile.

Hedwig immediately chimed in, "My tummy's growling too!"

The topic of sneaky photos was thus tactfully dropped.

At Leo's company, a major shake-up and restructuring were underway, with many new recruits joining. Since Sunny was short two assistants, the new hires included two experienced female assistants.

One of them, a woman named Sabrina, smirked triumphantly the moment she laid eyes on Sunny.

Sunny had been cordial to both new assistants, and with no filming or public appearances to attend to at the moment, the two assistants were relatively idle.

Sabrina, in particular, was very proactive in getting close to Sunny, greeting her with warmth and thoughtfulness that left a positive impression.

The annual Summit was approaching. This year, the organizing body had invited three major media companies to co-host the event, and Leo found himself face-to-face with his arch-rival, Nebula, like two feuding enemies meeting again.

Although Nebula was a rising star, it still lagged behind in influence. Yet Leo's personal popularity alone was enough to set new trends across the entertainment world.

So when Leo arrived at the rehearsal site, he instantly triggered a chorus of screams from countless young fans.

Leo was there to sign some documents. Upon taking the stage, he spotted Samuel, who was beaming with self-satisfaction. However, upon seeing Leo, Samuel's smile froze for a moment.

With an indifferent expression, Leo walked past him and signed the cooperation contract.

Samuel glared at Leo, consumed by envy. He had to admit that Leo was a born superstar; the dazzling aura surrounding him was something an ordinary person like himself could never match.

This envy fueled Samuel's indignation. Like many others, Samuel had once harbored dreams of being an actor. He had even made guest appearances in several films and TV shows, but he had never stood out. Some viewers hadn't even noticed he was the lead actor. This repeated failure had bred a deep-seated resentment within him.

"Leo, why didn't you bring your girlfriend?" Samuel approached, striking up a conversation.

"Because I don't want her to see someone as repulsive as you," Leo replied coolly.

Samuel's face darkened instantly. He let out a cold laugh. "Is that so? She's quite the treasure of yours. Better keep a close eye on her, or one day she might disappear, and then you'll be in tears!"

A flash of coldness crossed Leo's eyes. Samuel shuddered, quickly falling silent.

However, Samuel's words had sown a seed of unease in Leo's heart.

Samuel turned away with a smirk, inwardly gloating. If Leo lost the woman he loved, he would surely lose his fighting spirit, making it easy for Samuel to swallow up his company.

Richard received a message—a rare piece of good news lately. His men had successfully infiltrated Sunny's inner circle.

He quickly typed on his phone screen, "ASAP!"

He couldn't wait any longer. He had to silence Olivia as soon as possible.

Otherwise, all his plans would be ruined, and everything he had fought for would vanish.

He couldn't afford to let that happen.

Whenever Sunny had free time, she would visit Olivia to chat. Fortunately, Leo didn't stop her.

Each time, Sunny brought Olivia plenty of treats, which deeply touched Olivia.

"Sunny, if you marry Leo, life will be so much more comfortable. I really hope to see your wedding day. It would give me peace of mind!" Olivia said with a sigh.

Sunny shyly lowered her head and whispered, "Actually... he proposed to me."

"Really? Oh my god!" Olivia became excited, grabbing Sunny's hands. "Did you say yes? You must have said yes, right?"

With a bitter smile, Sunny replied, "Olivia, I don't know if I should accept. I feel like our relationship isn't stable enough. It feels like we could break up at any moment. If we're just dating and break up, it won't affect him much. But if we get married and then divorce, it would have a huge negative impact on him."
