My Mate Has Two Wolves

Chapter 458

Ch. 458 / 530 May 01, 2026

Catherine sat in Halsey's villa, surrounded by her bridesmaids, mirroring Blake's groomsmen lineup.

Four distinctively styled beauties sat in the dressing room, as makeup artists worked their magic on them.

The bridesmaid dresses were custom-made, simple yet elegant, highlighting each woman's unique charm.

"Catherine, I'm so jealous! You're about to become the Lycan Luna of the Royal Pack. Your days will be filled with happiness!"

Jessica chirped, her young face beaming with heartfelt blessings.

Catherine chuckled and playfully poked her weak spot. "Don't act so eager. With your recent glow, Cedrick must have been spoiling you rotten!"

Jessica's cheeks flushed crimson, but she remained silent with a smile—her friends could tell her relationship was thriving.

"Sunny, you look stunning today," Catherine said, breaking the silence. "I used to call you Miss Garcia, but now I should switch to first names—hope you don't mind."

Sunny snapped back to reality, forcing a smile. "Names are just names."

The conversation shifted from men to fashion and gossip. Jessica suddenly lowered her voice conspiratorially. "Have you heard about the rising actor Harley? His breakup scene in <Shattered Time> is divine. I cry every time, even though Benjamin teases me for being a tear-jerker!"

Eda nodded. "He's truly mesmerizing, especially with five years in the industry and zero scandals—a rare gem in this business. Rumor has it Nebula Media is trying to poach him. Sunny, isn't Leo planning a move? Such talent doesn't come along often."

Sunny's fingers tensed—Nebula's name reminded her of Samuel, the ruthless man in business battles.

When Catherine heard "Harley," a flicker of complexity crossed her eyes.

She recalled the boy who used to chase away school bullies for her, the silent presence by her side after her father's death. Now, he shone under the spotlight with a new identity.

She once thought his childhood kindness was mere friendship, only to realize later that those youthful gestures had been budding affection.

"Hope he chooses the right platform," Catherine murmured. As the makeup artist brushed her eyelid, she closed her eyes, sealing away those faded memories.

Today, she had but one identity—the bride about to marry Blake. Unspoken apologies and blessings would stay buried with her wedding gown's train.

Jessica suddenly pointed out the window. "Look! The groomsmen's cars are here! Leo's matte-black sports car is amazing!"

The dressing room erupted in gasps, except for Sunny, who watched the men downstairs in suits, reminded of Nick's miserable night at the hospital.

"Catherine, time to put on your dress," the makeup artist said.

The mirror reflected a flawlessly made-up woman, her pearl-white veil cascading over her shoulders. In that moment, Sunny realized—some stories were meant for others, while her path still lay shrouded in mist.

At ten, the wedding crew set off, a line of limited-edition luxury cars that blinded onlookers. Many stopped to gawk, eager to feast their eyes on the rare sight.

Blake held a bouquet, his expression slightly tense.

Despite his many experiences, marriage was new—a once-in-a-lifetime event. His excitement and care fueled his nerves.

Reflecting on the journey with Catherine, mostly sweet with occasional heartaches, he smiled.

They'd weathered it all, ending up here.

Blake had never imagined falling for someone like Catherine.

There was no warning—she simply became the woman he liked, driving him to pursue, desire, and long to possess her forever.

When asked about his type, Blake had been clueless.

But Catherine's arrival defined it.

His gaze softened with deep affection. Finally, she was rightfully his, and he was content.

The long wedding crew pulled up to Halsey's new villa, a spectacular sight.

Halsey, on the balcony, glanced at the fleet, then turned and walked toward Catherine's dressing room.

After knocking, the four bridesmaids, seeing it was Catherine's father, tactfully left downstairs.

"Dad." Catherine called softly.

"The crew is here, waiting downstairs. Are you ready?" Halsey looked at his daughter, elegant and grown-up—just as he'd always hoped.

Emotion welled up. He wanted to smile but couldn't.

He covered his eyes, and when he spoke again, his voice was choked with emotion, "Catherine, I'm so happy to see you marry. I feel truly blessed!"
