The next day, Dimple was dressing up for her office, and unexpectedly today, she wore a short skirt and a top, not because she wanted to look sexy or hot but he had forbidden her to wear a short dress as her husband and that's what she hated the most. She didn't want to be controlled by someone, and that's why she chose to wear a short dress, but after watching herself in the mirror, she realized that this type of dress wasn't good for work, so she added a shrug into it, thankfully, after coming back from the trip, she was so much angry at him, that she had bought many new clothes, she was intended to wear all these clothes in front of him and show him that she didn't care about his words, and now it was going to help her.
As expected, she got too many compliments from her colleagues, male employees couldn't keep their eyes away from her and female employees couldn't help praising her, however, everyone was shocked how this miracle happened, a girl who always wear formal clothes with a messy bun, today came with proper dressing up, what's more, wearing the skirt in the company.
Everyone's gaze was somehow making her uncomfortable, she then entered her cabin and took a long breath. She was just sitting when a girl rushed into her cabin, breathing heavily
“ Mam, ah, that Er, flowers.. ” she said excitedly, still breathing heavily. Dimple raised her eyebrows and said, “ What happened Sarah, first take a breathe and say what's going on, why are you so much excitement? ”
“ Mam, actually, you, you just come with me and see with your eyes,” said Sarah while she narrowed her eyes and said, “ Okay, show me then ”
Dimple followed Sarah and came outside her cabin, however, she was stunned now, as a man was standing in front of her cabin, holding a very large booke of Roses, and inside the flowerbed, there was a letter. She then glanced at everyone as all the employees had gathered around the man holding the flowers.
“ Someone has sent the love letter to our Chief”
“ Wow, so romantic, a love letter in this era, Aww ”
“ Mam is so lucky, nahh ”
“ Ohh, that's the reason for the sudden change in our her, ”
Some of them started whispering into each other's ears while She sighed and then yelled, “ What are you all doing here, huh, go back to your work ”
And all of them immediately get back to their works except Sarah, who was still looking at Dimple while blushing.
“ Do I need to tell you again? Go back to your work ” she said while Sarah chuckled.
“ Ah, I'm going, .. ” she said and turned back, but then she stopped and again turned towards Dimple.
“ Mam, what is written in the letter? Is it send by your husband to be or one of your exes? I've heard that you are getting married? ” Sarah asked excitedly, she was waiting to get some hot news, but after receiving a cold glare from Dimple she had to leave.
Dimple sighed and opened the letter, “ I'm waiting for you outside, come soon - Your Husband to be ”
She bit her lips and headed outside while taking long steps, her gaze fell on a familiar car, waiting in the parking lot.
She pursed her lips, intentionally put off her shrug and walked up to the car, then knocked at its window. He opened the window, saw her and came outside the car.
“ What is it? ” she yelled, showing the letter to him while he frowned.
“ What are you wearing today, didn't I tell you that.. ” he pursed his lips, but then he shook his head and bear a charming smile on his face, then added, “ It's okay, today, I'm with you, so you can wear whatever you want ”
“ I'm asking what is it? ” she yelled again.
“ Can't you see it? It's a letter,” he replied innocently.
“ Oh, thanks for telling me,” she said with a sarcastic smile and then yelled louder “ I meant why did you send it with flowers?”
“ To call you here, why are you being so hyper on me,” said Arav with a confused look, while she sighed, took a long breath, and said,
“ Don't you think that it's a working office, and what people would talk about me? They were thinking that I got a love letter from my ex or bf, they were taking it as a romantic gesture and.. ”
“ Was it romantic? ” he cut her off and asked amusingly, looking deeply at her eyes, she chuckled and looked at him, and then sighed as he wasn't pretending, he was really dumb to understand that it was a romantic gesture.
“ Ah, forget it, why did you call me here? ” she asked.
“ We are going to select engagement rings,” said Arav.
“ What? Did you call me here for that? Today, I'm very busy, and why does it need me, anyone can buy it, sorry, I can't go, I'm too busy today, you go and select for both of us ”
she said while making a terrible face while he looked at her coldly and said,
“ I'm not dying to stick with a girl like you, It's a grandpa order otherwise, forget it, if you don't want to go then say it to grandpa, I'm calling him now ” he said while dialing a number. She frowned and snatched his phone, then said,
“ Don't need to bother him, okay, I'm coming ” said Dimple while opening the door and sat beside the driver's seat while he curled up his lips and then took the driver seat.
“ Why did you send the letter with flowers when you could call me,” she asked while he replied, “ I don't have your number ”
“ Oh,” she said. So, he wasn't intended to tease her or being romantic, she just overthought that he was trying either to impress her or to tease her in front of her colleagues.
“ Was it really romantic? ” he asked with a deep voice while she gulped and said, “ Yes, it was ”
“ Then, do you like it? I mean do you like a romantic guy? ” he asked while hesitating, she looked up at him with stunned eyes, she didn't expect him to ask such a question to her, she then blushed and said, “ I, I just like the man who likes me the way I'm and don't want to change me ”
“ Does anyone tell you before that you are so boring?” he said while shaking his head, and she glared at him but didn't reply.
Arav then received a call that he was ignoring for a long time.
“ Oh God, didn't I make it clear to you, can't you understand? Don't call me again, okay, I'm busy with someone ” he yelled coldly at the other person on the phone and threw his phone in the back seat.
“ Give me your phone,” he said.
“ Why? ” she asked while raising her eyebrows.
“ Oh, please.. ” he bent towards her to snatch her phone while she screamed, “ Focus on driving.. ”
He looked outside and found that a truck was coming in front of his car, he immediately gets back to his seat and then turned his car, while Dimple had closed her eyes.
After turning his car safely, he looked back at Dimple, who was sitting with her eyes closed in the seat, looking very scared, he curled up his lips and bent towards her, he then placed a gentle kiss on her cheeks and snatched the phone from her hands.
“ You.. ” she sneered.
“ What are you doing with my phone? ” she pouted.
“ I've saved my number to your phone, don't forget to give me a call so that I could save yours too,” he said while throwing her phone towards her and then again started his car. She checked her phone and couldn't help blushing while reading his name on her phone that was saved with the name “ Husband to be ”
The corner of his lips raised while seeing her blushing through the window.
