She entered into the pub, at the address Twinkle had sent her, wearing a short black colored dress whose neck was cut in V shape, that was too long that the soft skin of her breast was partially exposed, and she was continuously trying to cover it up by pulling her dress up, but then she was afraid that pulling her clothes up might reveal her private parts as her dress was way too short that it wasn't covering her thighs at all. She gulped as the gaze of many men was on her. She then looked for her sister, and her gaze fell on the dance floor.
Twinkle was dancing with Arav, wearing a mini skirt and a short and thin top, her gaze fell on Arav's hands that were stroking her skirt on the dance floor, in front of everyone, and her sister was enjoying it. Dimple pursed her lips, she wanted to give a slap to her sis, for being shameless and allowing him to touch her everywhere, in front of too many people, but there was a huge crowd, everybody was dancing there, and she couldn't make her way to them. In the end, she was too angry and came up to a bartender, calling for a drink.
“ You still take only a soft drink?”
She turned towards the direction of the sound and was now stunned to find a man, wearing a navy blue shirt and black pants, and a heart-melting smile on her handsome face.
He was the man she ever dreamt to be hers, he was her first crush, who arose the feelings in her heart, he made her feel that she was a girl too, he made her realize that she could love someone too.
“ Akash!! You are here too? ” she asked with surprised eyes.
“ Yes, I'm the owner of this pub. But, what are you doing here? ” he asked, she rubbed her hair while answering, “ Er..I came here to celebrate the B'day of one of my friends ”
“ Oh, by the way, Dimple, you have changed a lot.. ” he said with admiration, glaring at her from bottom to top.
Dimple was confused whether to be happy or sad, he was the one who made her fall for him, it had been a year when he came to her company for some business matter, but then continued pestering her, he was good looking, and decent man, she couldn't resist his charm, and gradually fell for him, but then he asked her to let her sister Twinkle meet him, and help him in impressing Twinkle. Her heart got broken as he was pestering her only to get close to her sister, just because she was more hot and sexy than her, he even told her that she should change her style and be like her sister otherwise, no one gonna admire her. Of course, he said in a joke, but when you are depressed for something, a little sarcasm seems like a taunt. And that's the reason, she didn't want to change her style, she wanted to show the world that she is fine with what she has, and doesn't want to change herself for anyone, she wants to be what she was.
Although she was heartbroken, she helped him set up with her sister, and they dated for a month, from kiss to sex, they did everything, but then Twinkle dumbed him, and when Dimple asked the reason she told her that she was bored of him. But, the reason was Dimple accidentally revealed her feelings to her sister, and she knew the reason for their break up was something to do with her, but she didn't persuade Twinkle too as she also knew that Twinkle was never serious about their relationship, in fact, she didn't take any relationship seriously.
Akash was the page of the unfinished love story of her life, and she didn't want to open this chapter of her life again, but who knows that she would meet him again, and in this way, wearing such a dress he liked.
“ Are you still single, would you like to dance with me? ” he asked putting her hands on her bare thighs. She looked up at him with indifferent eyes, she once wished him to ask this question, she once wished him to take her as a woman, and not as a colleague, she once wished him to see her beauty, but now when he was indeed admiring her, she didn't feel happy, as she could feel that he wasn't after her, she was only after her body.
“ No, I'm not single, I've come with my husband to be, and this party is for his friend's B'day,” she said proudly, wanting to show him that she got someone who cared about her, and not about her figure. However, deep down her heart, she was afraid of him asking to meet her husband.
“ Oh, well then congratulations, Dimple, if you don't mind, could you give me the number of your sister, I, I really want to meet her and sort out problems between us, I, I just can't live like this, missing her every day and night,” he said in a serious tone, while she bit her lips. She was thinking that he was finally taking interest in her, but no, he was again trying to use her to pester her sister, was she that bad? Why didn't he see her as a beauty, why didn't he cared about her feelings?
Though she didn't like how he touched her, but his next sentence made her sadder and feel unwanted.
“ She is dating someone,” Dimple said with indifference.
“ Oh, well then I will not disturb you, enjoy your drink,” he said and stood up from his seat, and left while she was still looking in the direction from where he disappeared, making her feel unwanted and outdated to this world.
She then looked at Twinkle and Arav who were enjoying each other's company.
‘ Am I that bad that no one wants me? Am I not deserving to be loved by someone, why don't anyone lay their eyes on me? ’ she thought and then ordered for wine, as this pain couldn't be eased by drinking a soft drink.
“ One more bottle ” she again ordered.
“ One more ” she yelled while breaking the empty bottle, the bartender gave her another bottle, and she drank it in one breath, and then she stood up glaring in the direction of the dance floor.
“ Now, I will show you, Mr. Arav Singhania, I will show you who I'm and what I can do, you wanted to know my skills, alright, I will show you what talent I've gotten ” she screamed, though no one could hear it because of loud music.
