“ Grandpa, You are being too ridiculous, since when you became so miser? ”
I knitted my brows as he was ignoring me and wasn't signing on the cheque. I had planned to set up a romantic atmosphere for Dimple and clear our misunderstandings, I wanted it to be perfect, unlike last night. But, this old man wasn't listening to me at all. He simply rejected to give me money, I was furious at him, he wasn't like this earlier, from the past few days, he was continuously testing my nerves on him.
“ Miser? If I was miser, you wouldn't have enjoyed this luxurious life without doing anything ” he stated while I sighed.
“ Grandpa, this is not the time to discuss all these matters, didn't I promise you that I will take all the responsibilities after marriage, just sign the cheque and cut this all crap,” I said, trying to be calm.
“ I have no problem in signing the cheque, but, I'm not doing it because I know why you are asking for it,” he said while narrowing his eyes.
“ What do you mean? ” I asked while raising my eyebrows.
“ Aren't you planning a romantic date with Dimple, huh, and you need money to set up the romantic atmosphere? ” he said while curling up his lips, I looked up at him with stunned eyes.
“ W.. What are you saying, who wants to date her, I don't like her ” I stuttered.
“ Haha, kid, don't hide it from me, just accept that you fell for the girl chosen by me,” said grandpa.
“ If I accept this, will you sign the cheque? ” I asked, looking deeply at him.
“ Never, although I have given you much freedom, this is our tradition, and I don't want you to play with our culture, you can't meet your bride before marriage, you guys are already engaged and you just can't see each other now, what's more, there is only one day left, can't you wait for one day, huh, Don't you think you are being too impatient for the girl, I chose for you? ”
Damn, this old man, he didn't know what was going between us, but I couldn't even tell him what I had done last night, otherwise, he would again nag at me and abused me. I could even listen to his words in my mind ‘ You son of bitch, don't you have a little common sense, bastard you fucked everything, you even destroyed my name, I was once so much skilled in these kinds of stuff, Couldn't you come to me for such bits of advice, why did you follow those stupid novels and sucked everything, brat, you are good for nothing ’
Now, I had understood that he would never give me money, so it was useless to request him, not only that he also wasted too much time, I pursed my lips and stared at him with annoying eyes and yelled
“ I wasn't asking this for her, and I didn't lose to you, understand, I didn't fell for her, okay, I'm marrying her only because you threatened me that you won't pass the company to me if I don't marry her, and everything I did to her was because I wanted to impress you and not her, hah ”
I took a long breath after yelling at him, there wasn't a day when this old man wouldn't have annoyed me to the point of madness.
“ Haha, for impressing me, okay, I know you won't accept it easily, how about I change your bride, How about Twinkle, huh? ” he asked while curling up his lips, I couldn't hold my tongue and spitted, “ You dare to do that and I would kill you, err.. ”
I paused as I just realized that he was being smart to me.
“ Hahaha, okay, so you don't love Dimple, am I right? ” he said playfully while I avoid eye contact with him.
“ You don't need to say it, I can see it in your eyes how much you love her, now listen to me very carefully, since you love her, you promise to yourself that you will not hurt her, you will always cherish her, protect her, and treat her as a gem like all the men in our family treat their wives, and most importantly you will never cheat your wife, understand? ” said grandpa with deep voice while I smiled and said, “ I promise ”
Meanwhile, a maid knocked at the door.
“ Mr. Singhania, have you taken your tea? Can I take the dishes? ”
Grandpa narrowed his eyebrows, and yelled, “ I have been waiting for my tea for half an hour, and you are asking for the dishes? ”
“ Ah, for that I'm sorry Mr. Singhania but Mrs. Khanna told me to do so.. er, she also said that young miss Dimple brought you the tea, so I... ” she paused and sounding confused.
“ No she didn't, tell her to bring me tea ” grandpa replied.

Since grandpa had forbidden me to meet her, also I wanted to follow our tradition and culture so that there won't be anything wrong in our married life, I decided to apologize to Dimple on message. So, I send her a message.
‘ Hey, sweetheart, I know you would be mad at me, but trust me it was a misunderstanding, ah, how to tell you, it's not what you are thinking, it's just a misunderstanding, please don't be mad at me, I'll make you understand everything on our wedding night, and will start our new life ’
And then I got a reply.
‘ What I supposed to be thinking of you that you think I'm misunderstanding you? ’
‘ I know I wronged you by taking Twinkle's name and I also know that you are thinking that I took you as Twinkle, but it's not right, I purposely did it, it's all because of that fucking novel that say that one should make your partner jealous of another girl, and so I took her name to make you jealous, but trust me, all my words were only for you, and.. And I wanted to say to you that I, I loved you so much, please forgive me and don't be mad at me. ’
I again send her a message and was impatiently waiting for her reply. After few seconds she replied.
‘ You are so stupid, I really thought that you and Twinkle, forget it, it's good that you cleared my misunderstanding, I'm happy now ’
‘ Then, it means you are not mad at me, so, can I ask you one thing? ’
‘ Yes ’
‘ I confessed you my feelings two times, but you haven't replied to me yet, what do you feel for me, I, I mean, do you like me? ’
My heart was beating faster, and I was so impatient to see her reply, and then she replied
‘ No, I don't like you because I love you ’
I jumped out of my bed out of excitement, it was a brand new emotion that I was feeling right now, I had never experienced such a feeling before, as a famous playboy, I didn't know how it feels to be in love with someone and how it feels when the person loves you back. I was so happy and excited that night and didn't want our chatting to stop. I didn't know since when we became so comfortable while chatting that our conversation came to another level, we started chatting about our sexual preference, not only that, we had sexting that night, who would believe that a couple would do sexting one day before their marriage, but we did it.
