Arav's POV
I had already lost my hopes in her and was all set to call off the marriage, but her one sentence in the car, enlightened my heart. She said she didn't want to marry me, and wanted me to call off the marriage as she couldn't. It meant I was wrong about her, she wasn't a scheming girl, she wasn't after my money, she didn't want to use me as her tool. Only then I realized that she was indeed jealous of Twinkle, it's just she was good at hiding her inner feelings that I couldn't see it earlier.
‘ You ice-hearted girl, You made me suffer these days, I almost gave up on you, I thought you.. forget it, you made me suffer so much, now, it's my turn ’
I smiled as I came up with another plan, I agreed to call off the marriage but then gave her the shock by confessing my feelings in front of our parents. I must say, she wouldn't have believed in my words, but all those words had come from my heart, and that night, I kissed her. It was my first kiss filled with true feelings and not passion, I wanted to kiss her since when I saw her kissing Ruhaan, but tonight I finally made it.
I was so much excited and eager to bring that girl to my home as soon as possible, I wanted to cherish her, I wanted to become the perfect man for her. However, I wasn't good at it, so I started reading romantic novels and started following its steps, like picking your girl, giving her a lift, sending her as many gifts as possible, also sometimes making her feel jealous. I was doing everything to impress her as I knew that it was not easy to erase my first impression from her mind but I was doing my best to change my impression.
The only thing bothering me was asking money from my grandpa, ah, that old man, I don't know how many times I had to kowtow him for money in order to send her gifts, and every time he used to nag at me that I finally fell for the girl he chose for me, only to make me accept that I lose to him, but I was not easy to be bullied by him, I used to say
“Oh Come on, grandpa, I hadn't fallen for her, okay, it's just, I have no other option, I'm threatened by you to marry her, and I'm doing all this so that you won't say that I'm not treating your granddaughter-in-law well and would deduct my pocket money for this trivial matter, understand? ”

Finally, our wedding day was near, and I hadn't seen her for too long, I was desperate to see her once more and wanted to give her a surprise as I had read in the novel that one should never forget to surprise your partner no matter what.
‘ I hadn't seen her for past few days, also didn't send her any gifts or surprised her, what if she starts thinking that I'm losing interest in her, this is bad, I need to do something, I can't let her think like that, what's more, she hasn't confessed yet, I should do something, why not confessing my feelings to her? Yes, that's a good idea ’
I thought, and I planned to give her a surprise, I then decorated our room and messaged her to visit the room. I was so nervous, it was my first time confessing to any girl, I wanted to be calm and romantic, and not passionate that I always remained. I have rehearsed her arrivals and when she entered the room, I did my final performance.
To my surprise, she was ready, she was ready to give herself to me, I was stunned and happy at the same time. I had hugged her from behind, I didn't see her face, she didn't see my face but I could feel her, even her heartbeats, I could tell that her heartbeat was faster than usual, so like mine. It was so romantic just as I had expected, and then I remembered a line from the novel.
‘ When things go smoothly, and you don't know what to do next, then tease your partner a bit, make her feel a little bit jealous, then you won't have to take a lead, she would herself take lead, then gave her a warm hug, and say that you were just kidding, say that only she is the queen of your heart ’
That was my condition, though she seemed ready to give herself to me, I didn't want to be passionate, I wanted to show her that I didn't want her body but her heart, but, I was so unskilled in it, I didn't know what to do next. So, I just followed the words of the novel and decided to tease her by taking Twinkle's name in place of her name, pretending that Twinkle was too close to me that I mistook their names, but things didn't go well, I guess she misunderstood me that I was taking her as Twinkle. Before I could clear myself, she ran away. I chased after her but before I could reach her, I was surrounded by many guests and they didn't allow me to see her.
