Another day came and a new morning began. Since the first date of September, the breeze has been cold.
I pulled back the curtain of my bedroom on the second floor of the house. At six o'clock in the morning my spirit was wide awake!
I don't know who those Damon friends are. I was also worried about what I would say to mama. I'm also nervous because this is the first time Damon and I will leave Manila with his friends.
I am excited. I washed my face and brushed my teeth before coming down. I won't be able to take a bath this afternoon until Damon and I leave.
I grinned as I touched my lip and shuddered. I imagined how Damon bit and sucked my lips.Darn it! I'm addicted to his kiss.
I had a face palm and I saw that my cheek was red.
"I'm going crazy."
I said to myself and trampled.
"Hija?" A knock on my bathroom knocked me out.
"M-Ma?"
"Have breakfast. We have something to talk about." Mama's tone was strict so I frowned.
"Yeah..I'm going down."
I got dressed for home and left the room to go to the dining room table. I arrived at my mother who was in good shape and ready to go to work.
"Good morning ma."
Why does she seem angry?
"Good morning sit down.."
Like the usual. She gave me a milk. I also take in pancakes and put on a lot of syrup.
"Zandria have you not told me about something?" Mama said as she sat in front of me.
A strange nervousness struck me.
"H-Huh?"
She closed her eyes tight. She leaned back in her chair and looked at me intently.
"I saw you last night." My eyes widened. It was like blood had run down my face and it was getting cold.
What?
“W-What?" I'm too nervous.
She was slapped lightly on the table.
"Answer me Qluie Zandria ! You know what I mean. You know how much I hate liars. " her voice tremble. I remember papa so I closed my eyes tight.
I bit my trembling lips. I could see the anger and disappointment on mama's face.
"I'm sorry." I just said and bent down to play with my finger.
Her eyes became bloodshot.
"I saw you last night! You got in a car ! And why did the light suddenly turned off inside huh? Who's with you there? "I was shocked by what mama said I was even more nervous.
"S-sorry .. I-I already have a boyfriend."
Her lips parted and she gasped.
"So you mean ... he was the one with you last night outside?"
I nodded nervously.
"Yes ma."
"Oh my god.." She mumbled and massaged her temple."You're a really a woman now. You have a boyfriend and you don't even let him in the house? You didn't introduce me to him? Zandria! I am your mother! I should meet your boyfriend!"
All my nervousness was thrown out the window because of what mama said.
"I thought you'd be mad at me and I thought you didn't want me to have a boyfriend because of what happened to you and papa." I explained.
But she smiled.
"It's not like your dad and I broke up I'm going to stop you from making you happy. I want to meet your boyfriend."
"Damon Montemayor is my boyfriend."
I close my eyes as she tossed the pancakes and was humbled. I immediately handed her the glass of water.
"What? Montemayor?"
"Yes ma."
"W-who? The eldest or the second?" Mom asked, very interested.
"Second, ma."
She nodded as if she realized.
"The son of Raymundo and Sonya?"
Of course, mama knows him because she is friends with Madam Christina, Don Raymundo's wife.
"Yes mom.."
"Her mother is my childhood friend. She used to be my classmate of ours and a former friend of Christina." She shook her head.
"Tell Damon I need to talk to him. On my Sunday day off I have a lot of work to do today."
I smiled.
"Yes, mom thank you."
