I picked up our scattered clothes on the floor. I turned to Damon who was sound asleep. Excitement welled up in my system.
He was lying on the bed and I could see his handsome back. After I put away the clothes we scattered last night, I went into the bathroom.
We arrived here in the afternoon and because we were tired until we both fell asleep. When I came out of the bathroom, Damon was still asleep. I pulled back the curtain that blocked the sliding door to the veranda. I was attracted to the orange sky and the setting sun.
I decided to go down first. Maybe I can cook, after I tour.
I take a walk on the fine sand while holding my pink polaroid camera.
He brought me together with him here in Palawan.
The big hotel we are staying at here on Duma Island somewhere here in Palawan is covered with towering coconuts. The white sand is very fine.
There are sun loungers. And theres aots of tourists around. The cottages are in the middle of the sea , using the bridge to get there. I was wiling to take a picture when I turned the camera to my side and saw Venice standing by my side.
She's wearing a black bikini. Her hair is still wet and she looks like she just got up from the sea.
"Why do you have to go here? " she started.
I already know this scene . She never really did anything good to me. I took a deep breath and faced the sea.
"He's my husband so I'll definitely come."
She laugh mockingly.
"It's really your luck. If I only knew that he would end up with a stupid idiot like you who was flirting with him back then, I wouldn't have seduced him more. I don't know what he saw in you, you look like that! No class! "
I rolled my eyes. I knew it! She has nothing good to say to me.
All I know is dad and Damon are partners in the company. And because Venice is the heirs of their company, he is the one who is included in events like this. Tonight the event will be held inside the hotel.
"Venice ,love is not about how classy you are. If I were you, that's probably what Damon loved me for. Because you know ,class isn't in showing skin and beauty." I stared at her.
"Like you ,classy but disrespectful."
I have lost the appetite to reflect I turned around but she grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"What did you say?" she said stiffly. I saw the anger in her eyes.
"Let me go." I said calmly even though I felt pain in my arm.
"Who are you to scold me ?!" She shouted.
My mouth tightened and in anger I pulled my arm with all my might. Because of that she let me go.
"And who are you too to hurt me? Venice I'm full of you ! You must thankful, I'm still delicate but don't overdo it because I will never stop you! "
She backed away at my scream. I didn't even realize that I had touched her arm and she almost cry in pain.
"We're not done yet Zandria ! You have a day to me! " he threatened and immediately ran away.
I face palm because of what I did and because my afternoon was ruined. I just went back to our suite
I was just about to enter the elevator when it opened and Damon came out . Wearing only a white shirt and sweat shorts. I looked at the women at the front desk who were smiling when they saw Damon.
His jaw tightened and he went to me faster.
He immediately pulled my hand and hugged me.
"Where have you been?"
"I was just roaming around the sea." I explained. We entered the elevator and he hit the 11th floor.
"You should wake me up."
I leaned against the elevator wall and Damon immediately raised his palms on either side of me. He caged me like his prey.
"Damon I don't want to disturb you. Besides, I'm not a child anymore. I know what I'm going to do."
He grinned suddenly.
"Now you know how to answers me huh?" he touched my chin and kissed me on the lips.
"S-Sorry."
"I like that. If you want to answer don't be afraid. If you have to fight, fight."
I suddenly remembered earlier that I hurt Venice.
"Is that really okay?" I ask.
"Of course."
"Were you always involve at trouble at school before? And you always had bruises on your face?"
I remember back then at school, I was only two months into my first year of college when I saw him punch a varsity player in the school. That's where I first saw him punched someone.
He groaned.
"And now, you know how to turn the tables huh? You're no longer my innocent baby."
"I just remember."
It's really different when you see a man who is always serious when he laughs, it strange to feel.
He parted the strand of my hair on my face. "It was the first time I saw you when you were so young. I told myself I will never be attracted to your beauty because you are young. "
"Then?"
He bit his lower lip.
"I still haven't really stopped you. When you were in your first year, you looked even more beautiful. I don't like another man talking to you,so I threatened them not to talk you anymore" He shook his head and smiled. "
"Did you do that?"
He nodded.
"I'm no saint Zandria. My patience is short so I threatened them. And now it's a dream came true..You're my dream baby."
Out of emotion I squatted down and kissed him. Immediately his hand supported my waist and kissed back.
The elevator signaled that we were on the right floor. I immediately straightened up and saw the three women entering the elevator frowning. They even stared at me.
What did I do to them?
Damon immediately pulled me out.
"My ex is much more handsome now. But he already has a wife."
"You're ambitious! What ex? You're the only one chasing after him."
I heard more before the door closed. But I didn’t feel any jealousy. I trust Damon.
When we entered, I was immediately startled by the big black box. It has a white ribbon and an expensive signature of a famous designer.
"W-What's that?" I ask.
"I bought it . You'll wear it later."
I approached there opened and saw dark gray colored tube gown with a long slit in the leg.
"It's nice! But it's expensive."
He immediately shook his head and pulled me to the kitchen. He made me sit down.
"You're my wife. I don't care how many millions I'll spend for you. Especially when we have children. I'll give it all to you."
