David raised his hand holding a glass of champagne, pointed at Ella, who was eating some cake at the dining table and said. "She's just my wife."
When he saw Ella, the man said with a smile on his face. "She is like a goddess, how can you make you fall in love like that? All the girls here are no match for her."
Maria was heartbroken when David called Ella his wife. And yet, his partner thinks Ella is like a goddess. That made her heart bitter. She was constantly drinking and was a little dizzy. When she saw Ella walking toward David, she pretended to hug her chest and fell.
The first person to scream when Maria fainted was Mrs. Emma. She asks David to carry Maria into the room and asks Sophie to call the doctor. David reluctantly obeyed his mother.
David put Maria down on his bed. This is his and Ella's bed, he doesn't want any girl lying on it except Ella but his mother angrily asks him to put Maria down there. He has no other choice.
Just as David was about to leave, a hand grabbed Maria's weak voice. "Don't go, stay with me."
"You're drunk, sleep here tonight, Ella and I will sleep in another room." David tried to remove her fingers from his wrist.
"No, please, stay with me. A little." Maria started to cry.
David just stood by the bed, not knowing what to say.
Ella stood outside the door, listening to what she said to David. "Why are you acting cold towards me? What did I do wrong? We have known each other since childhood, and our feelings are close and deep, but since you got married, you have not treated me as well as before. It's all because of Ella, she made you like this." Maria's gaze turned indignant.
"Enough, this has nothing to do with Ella. Even without her, I wouldn't love you. I only see you as a friend, or a sister, just like Rika. Don't misunderstand, okay?"
Maria saw that he was a little angry, so she lowered her voice. "But don't be cold to me, okay? Let me be by your side like a friend like you said earlier. Please don't shun me. I can't bear to see you indifferent."
Ella felt that Maria was pitiful right now. Should she continue her love? David doesn't love Maria. If she and he are together, there's nothing wrong with that. But she cannot be happy when one is suffering.
In her heart, Maria thought otherwise. 'I don't believe it's impossible to seduce you. As long as we sleep together or have many opportunities together, I will give Ella a reason to divorce you.'
Seeing Maria suffer like that, David knew he shouldn't have said anything more. He thought that what she said was that while she was drunk when she woke up in the morning, she would forget all about it. So he sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for her to fall asleep.
Ella was sad and turned to leave. She went to Rika's room and knocked on the door. After a while, Rika opened the door. She had changed into her pajamas and was getting ready for bed. Seeing Ella, she looked surprised. "Why are you here? Wazzup?" She frowned and asked.
"Maria sleeps in David's room, can I sleep with you tonight?" Ella asked slowly. Her mind went blank. She needed a good night's sleep to forget what happened in David's room.
Rika felt something was wrong with Ella but she didn't ask but nodded.
Ella entered Rika's room, took a shower, and put on Rika's pajamas. Ella lay down on the bed, next to Rika.
Hearing Ella's story, Rika clenched her fists and said angrily. "Certainly she was just pretending to be pitied by my brother. I told you, she's full of tricks and conspiracies."
"I saw her drinking a lot. Maybe she was drunk. I feel like I've interfered in their business." Ella whispered.
"You are not wrong. You are my brother's legal wife, this is true. And Maria is only the third. Don't be afraid and don't worry." Rika encouraged.
Ella said no more. After a while, she fell asleep. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, and Rika got out of bed and opened the door to reveal David's face.
"You're not with Maria, what are you doing here?" She said in an angry voice.
Ignoring Rika's words, David entered the room and carried Ella in his arms.
"You..." David asked her to keep quiet so Rika didn't say more. She just watched him carry Ella out of her room, then she slowly closed the door.
'My brother didn't sleep with that bitch. Good man. If he upsets Ella, I'll be the first to hit him.' Rika smiled, thinking.
David carried her into another VIP room. He put her down on the bed and lay down, hugged her from behind, smelled her fragrance, and his heart became soft and peaceful. He kissed her hair and her shoulder. She felt a little ticklish, moving slightly but her eyes were still closed. He pulled her close to him.
After the party was over, all the guests returned to their homes. David waited for Maria to sleep, he walked out of the room and started looking for Ella. He looked everywhere and still couldn't find her. The last room he hadn't looked for was Rika's room, so he went and knocked on Rika's door. As he speculated, Ella was sleeping in his sister's bed. Rika has an angry face. He understands why she is angry. Maybe it was because of Maria that he abandoned Ella. But he did not explain.
He looked at the sleeping Ella, his heart fluttering a little. He misses the girl in front of him so much, that he can't sleep without her. Without delay, he took her in his arms.
The sun broke through the clouds, illuminating the entire city.
When Ella opened her eyes, a handsome face appeared, she was startled and almost screamed, she tried to calm down so as not to make a sound, holding her breath as she stared at the handsome face that was close to her.
This bedroom is located in the East direction, sunlight coming in from the window, illuminating his handsome face. His skin is not white, but a healthy honey color, with a straight nose bridge, a handsome face without scars, muscular body, like a meticulously sculpted statue. He closed his eyes and fell asleep peacefully.
Ella looked at the man beside her. She touched his soft lips with a finger. She felt like kissing him so she brought her lips close to his and kissed him.
