"Accalia? The new pack mate?", Gabriel gasped in shock.
Ethan snapped his fingers at him to get his attention back. "Do you need a shock absorber?", Ethan said, smiling.
"Really? Is it her? Or you're just trying to fill her up in the bedroom?", Alpha Gabriel asked and began to walk.
"No.. Never. You know me too well for such business", Ethan protested. "She's my mate",he finally said.
"Are you for real?"Gabriel paused again, shocked.
"Yes. And it's the best feeling ever. I didn't think I'd say this but I can't get enough of her and she feels the same about me", Ethan explained.
"Wow! Ethan! This is surprisingly good but how? You barely speak to her so how would you know she's your mate?", Alpha Gabriel asked, still in shock.
"I've never told anyone this but that day in the market,when you asked her to walk to me while you got the things we needed, our senses and inner wolf connected and chose each other. It was a scary feeling having another, especially a female to invade my thoughts and be in it", Ethan said, finding a place to sit.
Gabriel sat close to him and listened carefully. "I thought avoiding her would help but it didn't. I was getting miserable without affirming my feelings to her and somehow she felt I didn't want to accept her", Ethan said".
"Then why didn't you say anything? I could have helped if you asked me", Gabriel said.
Ethan waved his hand and shook his head at his best friend. "No..I wanted to be man enough to tell her. Besides, I'm not totally shy when it comes to women. I'm just quiet",he said.
"Just so you know,we weren't quiet last night", Ethan joked and Gabriel laughed hysterically at his comment.
"You don't say! Who knew you had it in you for some good night loving", Gabriel said still laughing.
"Well I'm the best flavor yet. I can tell you that. And this taste is all and only for Accalia", Ethan said pointing to himself.
Alpha Gabriel couldn't believe his ears. His best friend of years had found his mate. That was good news. He patted his friend on the shoulder and said, "I'm so happy and proud of you my friend. I wish both of you the best. I was almost scared I'll never see this day".
Accalia met Rachel and Helen at the dining of Gabriel's home, picking out their favorite designs. The coronation was happening soon and they didn't even want to leave anything amiss.
"Hello my Luna and. dearest Helen!", Accalia called out as she walked in.
"Oh my goodness Accalia, you're glowing",they both said at the same time.
"Thank you dears. Oh by the way,I have something for both of you", Accalia said, presenting them with the perfumed bottles.
"Wow! This smells so good", Helen gushed, sniffing her bottle.
"My! My! My! I love mine. It gives me the nostalgic feeling of my last vacation trip with Gabriel. Smells like the flowers and all the spices in the world combined", Rachel said.
Rachel got up and gave Accalia a warm hug before settling again. Accalia smiled and Helen and Rachel gave each other knowing looks, eying Accalia in amazement.
"Since you haven't told us the reason for this sparkle,we were taking a look at some designs and patterns for our dresses", Helen said pointing at the huge cover of the catalog.
"That's lovely! Oh please..I don't care what design you make for me,but I need it red", Accalia said smiling.
"Red? Thought you needed a floral patterned dress?", Rachel inquired.
"Yes..I've changed my mind. He.. likes red", Accalia replied blushing.
"He?", both women gasped.
"Yes..he", Accalia said in suspense.
"Holdup! I see why you're glowing. We need details right now. Right, Rachel?", Helen said excitedly and Rachel nodded in agreement.
"Okay ladies. Well,I came to share some good news with you. I've found my mate", Accalia squealed, clapping her hands.
"Your mate? I'm sorry.. what did I miss?", Rachel asked.
"Yeah my mate and you all know him. It's Ethan!", Accalia announced to the shock of everyone.
"Truth is, we've both felt it the first time we met but we didn't give it a chance with me having to be accepted first and all. But as of now, we're together as a couple and hopefully something more", Accalia said dreamily.
Accalia watched as the ladies watched her in bewilderment at what they had just heard. Helen was about to mutter something when they heard footsteps coming in from the door.
Hey ladies!", Alpha Gabriel said as Ethan walked behind him.
The ladies turned but still unable to utter a word,but still keeping an eye on Accalia who was smiling sweetly at Ethan,who winked at her. Everyone paused and watched the pair's loving drama. Ethan hunted the coat by the door and walked towards Accalia and gave her a peck.
"You good?",he asked softly.
"..missed you", Accalia replied, paying no attention to anyone else. She didn't care if the world watched her,as long as she was with Ethan,she didn't care.
Hmm..hmm", Helen cleared her throat to get their attention.
Slowly, Ethan found a seat and sat close to Accalia while they held hands. Rachel turned to give Gabriel a questionable look but from his reaction,he didn't seem surprised. He grabbed a seat as well and fished out some cherries from the fruit bowl to munch.
"So this is real,Huh?How long did you know?", Rachel asked Gabriel.
"I just knew today and yes it's real. They're true mates. They've known but are just making it official. Now,why am I the one explaining?", Gabriel joked and everyone laughed.
"Awwww.. Ethan. You sure deserve everything beautiful and with Accalia,I think you stole the world's treasure", Helen said honestly.
She wasn't close with Ethan that much but she respected him. He paid no attention to cheap gossip or trouble. He knew about her and Alpha Max but yet he didn't go snooping around. Ethan was very patient,kind and generous. Although he was an introvert,no one hated him.
Ethan nodded at Helen's words and pleaded to excuse himself to sit out with Gabriel at the backyard for a drink. He was shy, especially as he felt like he was about to be drilled by the ladies,so he needed a distraction.
Ethan tried to secretly blow Accalia a kiss but unfortunately, Rachel and Helen caught him and the ladies giggled at his love advances, while Accalia blushed.
"Oh my Accalia! This is beautiful. That means we'll all be with our beau throughout the coronation period. I'm super excited", Helen exclaimed.
"Yes! And we should surely drink to that ladies", Rachel said and walked to the rack to retrieve a bottle of wine and glasses.
She poured it in and the ladies took their glasses and raised it up for a toast.
"To love", Rachel said and the ladies giggled.
"And lots of sizzling moments with our prince charming", Accalia said and they laughed.
