Soon Accalia began to feel warm smiles and hugs from everyone. People were impressed at how lovely she was, and not even showing any sign of pain. Accalia bowed to the old Alpha and Alpha Gabriel.
"You look beautiful,dear and thank you for coming back home to us", Alpha Gabriel said, ignoring her bow and hugging her instead.
"Thank you my Alpha,it's good to be home",she replied.
"And if it isn't the strong and brave Accalia, who decided to give us her treasured presence at my wedding", Alpha Max said cheerfully and hugged her from behind.
"It's my pleasure to bother the handsome groom with my unnoticed presence. Why would I miss the delicious meals we planned to have on the menu today?" Accalia joked and Max was thrown into fits of laughter.
"Thank you for coming back",Max said and Accalia bowed politely.
Ethan was about to wrap his hands around Accalia when several hands knocked him off and hugged Accalia instead. It was Eunice and her friends. They all looked beautiful in their ball gowns and glittery hairpiece.
"We missed you so much,Miss Accalia. We never stopped visiting. So happy you're well",they said at once. Accalia smiled heartily when she noticed that Eunice seemed bolder and had a higher self esteem.
" my babies! I'm happy to be here with you. And I look forward to hearing those beautiful stories,I had missed", Accalia replied.
She gave the girls loving hugs and kisses. It wasn't just a moment of happiness,it was a defining moment for Accalia that she was greatly loved and missed and her flaws didn't matter. How grateful she was. She turned to see Ethan smiling at her and she smiled back warmly.
"How I miss having someone, enjoy my delicious bread buns!", Lady Belle called, walking quickly to Accalia. The old lady squeezed her in a hug, almost making it hard for her to breathe.
"Lady Belle! It's so good to see you too"Accalia said breathlessly.
"It's a pleasure to join us here cause we are having the time of our lives, today",she commented.
"I know. That's why I couldn't miss all the fun and joy", Accalia agreed.
After a few minutes of chatter, Ethan rushed to Accalia's side and saved her from all the conversations, going on at once. He knew everyone was happy to have her back,but he also needed her to be able to breathe, from all the hugs and attention.
While Ethan and Accalia excused the crowd to find a quiet place to eat and talk, Helen decided to use the restroom. She had been pressed since the joining rites but had to control herself.
Max was chatting loudly with some friends and only nodded when Helen excused herself. Helen took a look at Max and was happy to see him so relieved and joyful. She kept moving quickly, briefly stopping to return greetings from the guests.
Helen took the stairs and walked into the large bathroom, specifically kept for the Alpha and the VIP guests. Fortunately,she didn't meet anyone as the whole place was quiet and clean. However,she could hear the faint blast of the music speakers downstairs.
She proceeded first to the mirror after locking the door tight cause she didn't want anyone to walk in on her. Helen smiled at her beautiful reflection and the way she dazzled in her wedding dress.
After the first ceremony,she had changed her dress to another peach-coloured sequin flowing gown. Helen pulled the dress up to her tummy and unhooked the corset she wore underneath.
Helen breathed out in relief and leaned on the wall to catch her breath. She was thrilled about everything that happened today, especially Accalia's presence at her wedding,but she somehow couldn't wait for the wedding to be over,so she could rip the tight dress off her body.
After some minutes, Helen walked into the toilet and emptied her bowels. She had definitely had so much to drink. When she was done,she reluctantly buckled the corset again and arranged her gown properly.
Helen took to the mirror and dabbed the sweat off her face with the paper towels. Her makeup still looked intact and her hair still shone beautifully. She smiled at herself,at how blessed she felt.
Everything she had wished for happened to her,even when she had lost hope some years back. Helen loved to be a fashion attention and she was proud of how beautiful her wedding had turned out.
She took a deep breath and opened the door,in order to head back to the wedding when she met the back of someone, leaning across the bathroom door. Her heart skipped a beat cause,she had noticed the presence of the guest at the wedding.
Althoughshe didn't want to meet the person alone,she felt there was nothing she could do. Helen tried to sneak off quietly from the guest but obviously,he had felt her presence already. He turned and smiled at her.
"Hello Helen! Still as beautiful as ever!",the guest exclaimed.
"I have a wedding to go back to,if you don't mind?", Helen retorted, rolling her eyes.
"Ouch! What a way to talk to an old friend!",he said, holding his chest like he was hurt.
"What do you want from me, Bruno?", Helen asked.
"Well,I wanted to personally thank you for the invite and congratulate you on your wedding",Bruno replied, taking cautious steps to her.
"I appreciate", Helen tartly said and made to walk out from his presence.
Bruno rushed to her and held her back to her rage. She eyed him avidly and he withheld his hands from her.
"Look Helen! I wanted to apologize about the way things turned out between us. I was a coward and I regret telling you off in that manner".
"I tried reaching out to you but you had denounced the pack and I had no idea where you were. But look at you now.. you're still beautiful as ever and maybe I'm jealous that this beautiful body of yours,that was once mine belongs to..",Bruno whispered in Helen's ears and Helen shifted back from him,when Alpha Max cleared his throat.
Max walked to Helen's side and wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her lovingly while Bruno watched helplessly.
"Is there any trouble here?",he asked after he had kissed her and turned to Bruno with his eyebrows raised.
"Not at all. Alpha of the North. I only wanted to congratulate your beautiful bride on your union. I'll like to return to the others,if you'll excuse me",he said calmly and trudged off.
"Yes please. Go ahead!", Helen called from behind him mockingly.
"What was that all about?",Max said, biting Helen's ear playfully.
"Uhh.. nothing that you should bother yourself about,my darling. It's fine now and thank you for saving me there", Helen said teasingly.
"Anytime my baby. You're mine now and I'll protect you at all costs. You can mark my words,honey",he said and kissed her passionately.
Accalia ran in on them and almost screamed, "I'm so displeased to be the reason for both of you to end that sensual moment,but I need to let you know that your attention is needed downstairs. It's time for the vote of thanks", Accalia said then giggled.
"One minute more, please?",Alpha Max groaned.
"Not at all. Just come to end this so we can leave you both to rip yourselves out. And Helen,stop pouting and put up your brightest smile,my dear", Accalia joked and they all laughed out loud.
