After a short nap, Accalia and Ethan lay close to each other peacefully as Ethan rubbed her back gently. Only the sound of their breaths could be heard and they loved the quietness, until Ethan broke the silence.
"I want to make you mine, Accalia. Please do you want that?", Ethan asked.
The question took Accalia by surprise,she looked up and met his eyes staring down at her. "Really?",she retorted.
"Of course love. You have no idea how much I love my space sometimes. But since I met you,all I fantasize about is you in my arms as mine. I want you. And I'll love to enjoy the peace I have with you, Accalia Monae", Ethan replied softly.
"Yes. Yes. I'll love that a lot", Accalia said excitedly and they kissed.
They were about to go further than the kiss when Ethan paused to say something. "So,that includes you being my plus one for the coronation, you know that right?".
"I know that handsome. I can't wait", Accalia said laughing.
"Wonderful! I like red. Would love to see you in red", Ethan said,then resumed the kiss.
Accalia didn't understand how Ethan did it but with him,she felt like her insides became vulnerable with every single touch of his. She held onto him tighter and spread her legs so he could lay on her with no obstructions,when they both heard some taps on the window.
"What was that?", Ethan asked, alarmed.
"It's nothing darling. It's just the sparrow, tapping", Accalia replied, kissing him.
"Oh.. okay. Wait! What time is it?", Ethan asked.
"I don't know. It's still early in the morning. The sun is out,but barely warm yet", Accalia said, pointing to the tiny ray of the sun that escaped from the window.
"Morning? Oh my gosh...", Ethan said in dismay.
"Did you have an appointment?", Accalia asked, sitting up as Ethan started searching for his clothes.
"Yes.I didn't even notice I slept here. I was supposed to be on patrol with Alpha Gabriel and his father yesterday. And I had a meeting to attend immediately after we were back from the patrol", Ethan said breathlessly.
"Oh..well, you could tell them you were busy with some serious business with me", Accalia teased,while Ethan smiled at her.
"You sure will get me into trouble", Ethan joked,still searching for his shirt.
"Tell me about it! And Ethan? The shirt is hanging on the arm of the chair behind you", Accalia pointed.
"Right. Thank you", Ethan said, throwing the shirt over him as he buttoned up quickly. He wore his shoes and took the coat in his hand,then walked over to Accalia who was watching him and he kissed her.
"Are you sure, you don't want me to get you breakfast? I'll be quick,I promise",she asked.
"No honey. I'm fine. I'll get coffee at the chambers. I'll see you later in the day?", Ethan asked
"Yeah..I'll be at Rachel's house today to talk about the coronation plans. I'm guessing you boys would be around as well", Accalia replied.
"Of course! I'll see you then, beautiful. I love you",he said, kissing her.
"I love you too", Accalia screamed after him as he ran out of the door.
Accalia hugged herself and smiled too. Everything was going well with her and she was thankful to fate for giving her another chance at life. She couldn't even believe that her story would get better,but here she was living the best dream.
Ethan wasn't gone for even an hour but she already started missing him. She rolled out of bed to get busy before meeting with the girls. Accalia dressed her bed and cleaned her home. She hummed an ancient song about an artist and his muse who fell in love as she made breakfast.
She poached some eggs and fried ham, eating it with a cup of creamy coffee. She didn't have any delivery to do and didn't plan on producing any oils and fragrances so Accalia decided to take a warm bath of spices.
Few minutes later,she walked out of the bathroom and took her time rubbing some moisturizing oils on her skin until it shone beautifully. Accalia applied hair serum on her hair and brushed it gently. She wasn't one that paid attention to details, but suddenly she did. She combed her hair and styled it, making sure the waves fell on one side of her shoulder.
Accalia picked a green and black polka dot knee-length jumpsuit which brought out the curves on her body, nicely and a nude-coloured sandals to match, before applying a pink lipgloss mildly.
She took the last look at the mirror and grabbed two bottles of perfumes as gifts for Rachel said and Helen. She had missed them a lot.
Accalia stepped out of her house and set out for Rachel's house. On her way to Rachel's house,she met Penney at the coffee shop with some strange man she had never met. Accalia guessed that he was probably one of her fantasizers. She shrugged and went on her way.
Alpha Gabriel had just emerged from the chambers,from where the meeting was held and was talking to a lower werewolf when Ethan rushed in. Gabriel discharged the person and turned to Ethan who was apologetic about missing the patrol and the meeting.
"I'm so.. sorry", Ethan began when Alpha Gabriel raised his hand for him to be quiet.
"Ethan,this is nothing like you. You would never miss a patrol or a stakeholder meeting. And why are you still in the clothes from yesterday and looking like you just got out of bed", Gabriel said, scanning Ethan with his eyes.
"Look .I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was late. I slept off and woke up late", Ethan explained.
"You would lie to your Alpha?"Gabriel asked, raising his brows in surprise."
"No..I wouldn't do that", Ethan tried to say but again Gabriel interrupted him.
"Very well. Then tell me, who's she?", Gabriel asked, folding his hands across his chest.
"Huh? Uhm..I don't understand", Ethan was shocked and he avoided his friend's eyes.
"You would never be late for anything. It's work over everything. So who's the female who was able to keep you in bed throughout the night till late in the morning. Oh.. wait,did she use a spell on you?", Gabriel asked amused.
"What? No..she didn't", Ethan finally said.
"She? So I guessed right then. She must have cast some serious spell on you to capture the Pack's Beta and one of the finest warriors, apart from me,that is", Gabriel joked.
Ethan stared at his friend who found the situation hilarious and not angry. "You're not mad at me?",He asked.
"Mad? Not really. Aside from the fact that the patrol was boring without you as my father was about to murder me with stories of how he used to be harder in his youth than most of the young werewolves now and..or yes I'm mad at you for leaving me in a meeting with the Gamma. I think I dozed off a couple of times", Gabriel replied, taking a stroll with Ethan.
They both laughed and Ethan replied. "Yeah.. Alpha was a great warrior. I remember how we used to be excited when he would return from every war victorious".
"Yeah..I remember that. You remember that time..hold up. You're not trying to divert from answering my question,are you?", Gabriel asked.
"What question?", Ethan replied, pretending not to remember.
"Who's she?" Gabriel asked, stopping to look at Ethan.
Ethan gave a shrug and said, "Her name is Accalia Monae".
