Getting away with the Alpha's Pup

Chapter 88

Ch. 88 / 231 Apr 27, 2026

Cherry

The next day in the lounge of Lune's pack house.

My hands sweat as I saw Dylan take a seat across Bill and me, his face laden with exhaustion.

"You want to snatch my business after taking my mate away?! No way!" Dylan was vexed after hearing Bill out.

"Think about it, bro. I'll be waiting for you back here." Bill was confident that Dylan would accept his offer.

"Dylan! Wait..." I chased Dylan out as he stormed out of the longue, only to fell heavily to the ground at the house gate.

"Cherry!" Hearing the loud sound, Dylan turned back and rushed to me. "Are you all right?"

"Think about Bill's offer, Dylan. He means well. Starsmoon needs money. Don't act on impulse." Instead of answering his question, I tried to talk Dylan into accepting Bill's offer.

"Your wolf is suffering too, Cherry. The link between our wolves is weakening." Instead of giving me an answer, Dylan said to me with a concerned look.

"Take me back, Cherry. My wolf needs you. And our pack needs you too. Just give me a chance."

A mix of feelings rose in me as Dylan begged.

"I've given you a chance, Dylan. But you screw it up!" Tears welled up in my eyes out of grievance.

"I gave up my life in Berlin to be with you, remember? But what did I get for that? Cheating! Betrayal! Rejection! You almost took my life because of another woman!"

“Sorry, Cherry! I'm really sorry for putting you through this. I didn't mean it. It's the wolfsbane..."

“You could have at least chose to believe in me, to your Luna, to the mother of your daughter, but you didn't!” My wolf was in unbearable pain as I yelled at him in a low voice, for fear that anyone else could hear us.

“Cherry, please... We can fix this. We need each other. Our wolves could die if they continue to suf—”

"Stop it!" Dylan's wolf cowered at mine. "My wolf would never die. I'll soon become Bill's Luna."

“What are you talking about?!” Dylan was shocked in disbelief.

“You heard me.” I said, and that broke me just as much as it devastated Dylan.

“You can't do that to me...” He uttered in despair as I walked away.

Back in the lounge.

“Mommy!” My footsteps towards Bill stopped as I heard Fern.

“Yes sweetie! Why are you out here?” I put on a smile before turning to her.

"I heard daddy! Is he here visiting us?" Fern looked around for Dylan.

"You did?" I feigned surprise. "You must mishear it honey. There was only Uncle Bill and me here."

"Really? Fine." I could tell the disappointment in her voice. "I miss daddy. When are we gonna see him?"

"Daddy's under treatment now honey." I tucked Fern's hair behind her ears, couldn't bear to break her heart. "But I think he'll come to us the minute he recovers."

"Great! Nuu-Chah blesses daddy! I hope to see him soon." Her face lightened up in excitement.

***********

Later at night.

My phone vibrated just as I was about to turn off the bedlamp.

It was Bert.

“Hey, Bert!” I finally pressed the Answer button after hesitating for a while.

“Thank Nuu-Chah you picked up, Cherry. I thought I wouldn't be able to get a hold of you.”

“What's the matter, Bert?” Hearing him heave a heavy sigh from the other end of the line, I knew that he was facing a tough problem.

“Dylan is drunk in Soho. But I'm out of town now. Can you go and pick him up there?”

"What? No!" I was offended by Bert's request. "You know that I'm no longer his Luna or a member of Starsmoon. Go and ask Chelsea to do that.”

"Chelsea fled!" Bert shouted from the other end as I was about to end the call.

"None of my business. Dylan's no longer my responsibility." I hanged him up though shocked at this news.

Turning off my phone, I tossed and turned in bed, couldn't fall asleep. My wolf got excited at Bert's call as I was digesting the news of Chelsea escaping.

Something terrible must have happened in Starsmoon!

“Fuck it! Just this one time, okay?” I snarled at my wolf before finally sitting up and grabbing the car key.

“Going somewhere?” I bumped into Bill right before I was about to rush downstairs.

“Oh, it's Maisy. She works at my store in Seattle. You saw her in the store earlier today, right?” I lied to him, nervous inside.

Bill nodded before I went on.

“Something came up to her. I need go and check on her.”

“Do you want me to go with you? I can drive—”

“No!” I exclaimed while trying to cover my nervousness. “You don't have to. You've had a long today. Just go get some rest. I'll keep you updated before I'm back.”

“Alright. See you later.”

"See you." I cracked a smile at him before rushing out.

In a matter of an hour, I was standing in Soho, looking around to search for Dylan.

“There he is!” My wolf shouted in excitement at the sight of his mate.

I saw Dylan arguing with the bartender at the counter.

“Give me one more shot!” He growled at the bartender. "You afraid that I couldn't afford the bill?!"

“Dylan!” I shouted at him.

“I'm sorry about this. I'll get this,” I said to the bartender before dragging him out to the street.

“God you're damn heavy!” I whined after settling him in the passenger seat.

“C-Cherry? Is my Cherry back...” He mumbled in a drunk voice.

“Sit tight. I'll drive you home.” I ignored his drunk talk.

“But Cherry told me that she would be with Bill. You cannot be my Cherry. She hates me...” Dylan kept muttering along the way to Starsmoon pack house.

Although my heart clenched at his words, I decided not to get bothered by it, .

It was deep night. Everyone in Starsmoon was in their dreams.

I was about to leave after tucking Dylan to bed as he grabbed my sleeve.

“Cherry?! Is it really you? You're back for me?!”

He flipped me over his body before I could barely resist.

I struggled to get off him, only to get distracted by his luscious red lips.

My wolf was howling to take over.

“No! I can't! I'm choosing Bill over him,” I snarled to stop my wolf, only to give up when Dylan started to caress my lips.

“Oh, h-how much...I-I've been missing these lips!” He slurred, his eyes drowsy.

Slowly dipping his thumbed on my lips, he played with them. Something in me snapped as I ended up initiating a kiss.

“Do I have the permission to play with them?” Dylan smirked while looking at my boobs.

Drunk at his kisses, I was no longer sober in mind.

“D-Do...whatever you please. Tonight, I'm...a-all yours once more.” I said to him, stuttering as I caught my breath.

“I'll make love to you so damn well that you'd change your mind and take me back.” Dylan licked my earlobe before nibbling it.

“It was you…my Cherry...” He murmured but then came to a sudden stop. “The woman in a red lingerie in my dream… it's you?!”

Without a clue as for what he was talking about, I looked up at Dylan in confusion, only to find him shaking his head.

"I've dreamed of you even before getting my memory back!" With that, Dylan got even more excited.

The next minute, I found my mouth spring open as Dylan pressed his steel hard cock against my pussy, grinding it and telling me how hungry he was for me.

Dylan's kisses went from my neck down to my collarbone, while his hand expertly undid the button of my top.

“Ohh!” I whimpered in pleasure.

Dylan guided me to the set and placed himself behind me.

Kissing my shoulder, he started to palm my breasts, his thumb drawing circles around my hard mound.

“Fuck! I-I'm so thirsty for your touches." I murmured in a whinny voice, arching my back as Dylan pinched my nipples and tugged them lightly.

Lifting me over at ease, Dylan and I were facing each other.

“You're fucking hot, Cherry.” My cheeks blushed at his compliment.

Then he devoured my nipples, licking and nibbling them.

I shut my eyes, biting my lower lip.

I wanted this. My wolf wanted it too.

I'd surely regret every decision that I had made tonight. But fuck it. I just needed Dylan and this pleasure tonight!
