Contract With Alpha Theodore

Chapter 160

Ch. 160 / 220 Apr 30, 2026

third person's POV

"Alpha Cliff, everything was taken care of."

Beta Elliot bowed and reported, still carrying the cold aura left from the mission.

"What about the thing I asked you to look into?"

Cliff tapped his fingertips lightly on the table, giving off that unique, dominant Alpha vibe. His faint, scrutinizing scent lingered in the air.

"Luna went back to the Dalton house today. There seemed to be some conflict at the family dinner, and the Daltons all left early. Later, someone saw Theodore show up with some people and cause a scene. He even took Dominic, Aldrich's wife's brother, away by force. There was a strong scent of werewolf fighting left at the scene."

Elliot explained things clearly and watched Cliff's reaction carefully.

"Was it the chairman of that company Mirabel?"

Cliff raised his eyebrows a little, and there was a flash of barely noticeable disgust in his eyes.

He never liked that weak and greedy wolfish vibe of the Field family.

"Yeah." Beta Elio nodded. "Before, Mirabel came to us for a partnership. For the Dalton family's sake, we even gave her a project."

Cliff didn't say anything and went silent. His fingers pressed harder, his knuckles turning white. The air around him got heavier and heavier, and even Elliot held his breath without thinking.

"Alpha Cliff..."

Beta Elliot hesitated, carefully letting out a bit of a soothing vibe, "I heard Theodore wasn't causing trouble at the Dalton's for the first time."

"What do you mean, not the first time?" Cliff frowned, a hint of red flashing in his eyes. The possessiveness of an Alpha was quietly ignited.

Beta Elliot explained, "The last time Theodore caused trouble at the Dalton house was over three months ago, when Luna Vanya had a car accident. That time he almost tore the roof off the Dalton house, and his wolf howls echoed through half the block."

"Wasn't the car accident an accident?" Cliff's voice turned colder.

He could feel the wolf inside him getting restless—Vanya was in trouble, and he had no idea.

"They said it wasn't an accident, it was Aldrich's son who did it. Theodore probably went to get justice for the lady, that's why he made such a scene at the Dalton house." Elliot added, with a hint of regret in his voice.

Cliff's brows furrowed even more, the veins on his temples twitching. The pressure that belonged to the Silvermoon Wolf Pack's Alpha suddenly burst out, making the air in the whole room feel like it froze.

He never knew any of this, and Vanya never told him a word!

Cliff clenched his fists, the cold glint of wolf claws almost shining through his fingers: "Drive now, let's go to the Dalton's!"

"Yes!" Elliot answered right away, not daring to delay at all.

It was already late at night. Aldrich heard the scent of a strange Alpha outside and immediately got up to get dressed—That was Cliff's scent, full of undisguised aggression.

Just as I walked out of the room, I saw Cliff sitting on the sofa in his living room. He looked relaxed, but his eyes were cold as ice. The wolf-like pressure around him was like an invisible net, covering the whole living room.

Aldrich's heart skipped a beat. He remembered how determined Vanya had been to get a divorce lately, probably because Cliff had been messing around and really broke her heart.

He stepped forward, sounding a bit distant, and deliberately gave off the vibe of a Dalton family leader to push back: "Alpha Cliff, what are you doing here in the middle of the night?"

"Today was a family dinner. Something happened when Vanya went back. I'm here to ask you what exactly happened."

Cliff's tone was flat, but his eyes looked like he was sizing up prey. His fingertips absentmindedly rubbed the armrest of the sofa, leaving faint scratch marks.

Aldrich didn't expect that Cliff came for Vanya this time.

He let out a snort, a bit mocking: "Mr. Winston already came by today, and the matter's settled. So how come Alpha Cliff, as Vanya's husband, only showed up now?"

Aldrich mentioned Theodore, and Cliff's eyes instantly showed intense killing intent. The pheromones around him turned wild and dangerous, like he was about to turn into a giant wolf and pounce the next second.

Aldrich sure didn't dare to really offend the Alpha of the Silvermoon Pack. He just said grumpily, "It was my useless wife who teamed up with Dominic to drug Vanya, almost... almost made Vanya lose her innocence..."

He spoke, his voice full of guilt, and the wolfish vibe of an elder was mixed with self-blame.

"What did you say?"

Cliff suddenly stood up, his tall figure giving off a strong sense of pressure, and there was a dangerous red in his eyes. "You said Dominic drugged Vanya?"

The rage in that tone made the chandelier in the living room shake a little.

Aldrich was in the wrong here. He looked away a bit guiltily, his wolf ears drooping a little: "Theo already took the person away. Alpha Cliff, if you want to stand up for Vanya, you can go fight Theo for them!"

Cliff clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking. His face was so dark it looked like it could drip water. The wolf inside him was roaring like crazy, yelling to tear apart those who hurt Vanya.

"But you two were about to get divorced anyway, so Vanya's business didn't have much to do with you anymore!" Aldrich actually stood up to Cliff for once.

Cliff frowned, the red in his eyes growing stronger, carrying an undeniable pressure: "Divorce? Who told you that?"
