You Lost This Time, Jason
"James cut this shit and let Julia go. I am the one you want. So come and let's talk," Jason said coldly.
"No dear brother. I think I have what I want right here," James said with a sinister smile as he stared at Julia who still looked unfazed.
"James," Jason called out to him.
Julia kept her eyes locked on James and slowly moved her hand to her back. She removed her ring from her finger behind her back as she remained rooted to her spot with her back facing the elevator.
"I know what you are doing. Just stalking me so the police will get here. I will not give you that luxury," James said and ended the call.
He threw the phone into the wall smashing it into pieces. In that brief moment, Julia put her wedding ring into her mouth and swallowed it. James shifted his gaze back to Julia and frowned seeing her squeeze her face.
"I will not make the mistakes I made in the past," James said. "Strip," he ordered with a serious expression.
"What?" Julia said.
"You heard me," James replied.
"I will not," Julia replied and James laughed.
"Well, well, well. Someone had become touch. Spending time with my brother, you had suddenly become tough?" James chuckled and Julia stared at him coldly.
"Now, listen to me carefully," James said holding Julia by the side of her neck.
Julia clenched her teeth together as she kept her hands by her side not at all fighting him. James placed the tip of the gun on her cheeks.
"You will strip down to your underwear. Make sure you take off all your jewellery including the ring on your finger. I don't want any tracker anywhere on you," James said.
"I am not wearing my wedding ring today," Julia said.
James pulled her hand up and there was no ring on her finger.
"Strip, now," James ordered and Julia stood there staring at him. "Take off your clothes before I put a bullet into your head," he threatened and pointed the gun at her head.
Julia began taking her clothes off. She took off her jacket and unzippered her dress but paused.
"You are going to let them watch?" Julia asked, using her eyes she pointed at James's guards.
James stared at her briefly and shifted his gaze to the guards.
"Knock them out and turn around," James said.
The guards immediately delivered blows to Julia's guards knocking them out and they turned their backs to James and Julia. Julia had shut her eyes unable to watch how James's guards were punching her guards.
"Now strip," James's voice cuts through Julia's mind and she opens her eyes.
All of James's guards had their backs turned facing them. James still had the gun aimed at her. She stripped down to her underwear. James checked her bra and panty ensuring there was no tracker anywhere. She didn't know Julia had swallowed her wedding ring which had a tracker on it.
"Now we are good to go," he said.
"Like this?" Julia asked.
James took off his jacket and gave it to Julia. Julia accepted the jacket and covered herself with it. James pulled her towards the car.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Mirenda could not reach Jason she decided to prevent the last four partners from cancelling their contract.
At the hospital, Jason called Peter immediately.
"Peter, send word out. The hotel is on break today. Do not render service to anyone for today. There is a coup going on in my family," Jason said.
"Boss, I am coming over," Peter said.
"No, take care of the hotel and make sure no one hacks into our system. I will go with Henry," Jason said and ended the call.
"Please take care of my father. Do not let anyone around him no matter who the person claims to be," Jason said and left the hospital.
He left the hospital for home and went for his tracking device. He prayed silently Julia had something on he could use to track her. He turned on the tracking software and it picked a signal. Julia had a tracker on her. He noticed she was on the move. He called Henry who answered immediately.
"Jason, relaxed. If James has your wife. He is expecting you to come after him. He will lay ambush for you," Henry advised.
"He will rape her," Jason said in frustration.
"Yes, but probably later. We need to plan and move. We need a plan," Henry said but Jason was not comfortable with James having Julia in his custody.
"I am going to alert the police," Jason said.
"Okay, let them move discreetly," Henry advised. "I am coming over," he added.
As soon as he ended the call a private number called. Jason answered thinking it was James.
"Hello Jason, I am back for what belongs to me," Mrs Haward said.
"What do you want from me?" Jason asked.
"Good you asked. I want you dead," Mrs Haward said. "Just so you know, you don't have the upper hand any more. We have the Wellington and Haward fortune. You lost this time, Jason," Mrs Haward said laughing.
"I know you do, but the question is for how long. I spared you from prison because you raised me. No matter how you did it, you still raised me. I gave you that respect as my mother but you still came after me. You were sent to prison. You got out and you are after me again. I will find you and when I do, do not blame me for my actions. When I find you, just know that you asked for what will happen to you," Jason said coldly and Mrs Haward went silent.
Jason ended the call and an idea came to mind. He called Mirenda and she answered.
"Jason, we are losing everything," Mirenda complained.
"Mirenda listened to me carefully. Tell all the partners, to cancel their contracts. Let them know I will reach out to them again with better offers. Tell the board of directors and the managers to turn in their resignations. Let them know it is only for a period. I will call them back," Jason said.
"You are collapsing the company," Mirenda said.
"Yes, I am. Call the financial manager. I will give you the password to the main financial system. Move all the money in the account to Paradise Hotel. They can't claim that business now. Let them have the building," Jason said and ended the call.
He made a call to the Wellington company and asked the financial manager to move all the funds into the account of Paradise Hotel.
"Now let's see where they will get the money to run the show," Jason said once he was done with the calls.
Henry entered Jason's apartment. The two left to find Julia.
At Mr Wellington's home, Jane was on the call with Maria unaware of what Jason was doing.
"I have the house and all his property now," Jane said. "I shot Dr Andesh and Mr Wellington is in the hospital. Even if he wakes up, which I doubt, the one who helps him is gone," she said.
"Don't worry. He won't wake up. He will remain like that and probably die in a couple of days," Maria said.
"Now, let the guards know you are the new owner, and we need to meet and see how we will manage all the business. The two of you do not have those management skills," she added.
"That will be great. I will call James and find out where he is," Jane said.
"Forgot James, I am calling Matilda, we will come over soon," Maria said and ended the call.
Jane immediately assembled all the workers in the apartment.
"Now listen carefully, I am your new boss. Mr Wellington is not coming back. So if you want to keep your jobs, you better turn your loyalty to me," Jane said.
"If Mr Wellington is no longer here, I quit," said Butler.
"Perfect, I don't need you," Jane said and shot the butler. "Who else wants to quit?" she said holding the gun in her hand.
The servants and guards went silent immediately.
"Now listen carefully. If you sneak out of this place, remember I have your details and where you stay in the system. The data you provided. I will find your family and kill all of them," she threatened. "Do you understand?" she questioned.
"Yes ma'am," they all responded and she dismissed them to go back to work.
"Having power is amazing," Jane said smiling to herself.
"Take this body away and let his family know he died," Jane said to the guard and went back upstairs.
Outside on the street, Jason was in the back seat of his car with Henry, little Jason was with Mary and he had double the guards in the house. He left instructions, that no one goes out and no one comes in. They found a place to park and Jason realized the moving dot had stopped at a place. He zoomed in to see the location.
"This is where they stopped," Jason said to Henry.
Inside the abandoned house, where James had his surgery, Julia was tied to a chair and her face was covered.
"What do you want from me?" Julia asked.
"In your next life, tell God not to put in you everything I want in a woman," James said. "I know Jason is looking for you and I know he will find you. I am waiting for him. I want him to watch me fuck you," he said and laughed.
