In a boardroom at the top of a towering skyscraper, Ciara sits at the edge of the table at the other end, a stack of papers in her hand. She looks around the table, her expression serious. Likewise, the executives that were around the long table, their faces were serious too.
"I've called this board meeting to discuss a matter of great importance. I know that the company has been struggling recently, but I believe we can turn things around." She stated gracefully, but she was slow with her words.
"Recently, as you all are aware of, I'm now a shareholder in the Lerman's company and I own the highest percentage in it; the company itself made me the executive owner." She said and paused, her voice sharp and professional as she stares at the executives present to see their reaction.
The executives were wearing a knowing expression, already aware of what she was talking about; no one seemed surprised at her new feat, seeing this, she decided to go on with her speech again.
She cleared her throat to continue from where she dropped off. "-but at the moment, the Lerman's company is facing challenges and the brink of fall and as its new owner, it's my responsibility to protect its image and work towards its success once again." She stated and adjusted slightly on her seat. "What is anyone's point on this?"
One of the executives let out a deep breathe before proceeding to speak. "I understand this is for business purpose, Ms. Ciara." He began, his voice seemed old as he carefully threaded his words. "But why would you settle for a company that's soon to collapse?"
"Yes, Ms. Ciara." Another interjected immediately like he was going to lose his chance to speak until the gathering was called off. "There are many companies in the spotlight that you can be a shareholder in, why the Lerman's company?"
Ciara's lips curled up in a lopsided smile. "I might be a shareholder now but later on, I intend to buy the whole company out since I'll be turning it to one of our branches soon." She was confident with her words, her expression giving in to her words. "What would you think will happen if I happen to own the whole company itself?"
The executives were silent for a while, giving her statement a thought, before one of them finally decided to speak. "They are possibilities of the company skyrocketing back to stardom again, you have the zeal and the potential in you; this was the reason our company was able to survive and gain more fame than expected until this day." He said with an approving expression on his face.
"This is a brilliant idea to take over the company." Another added, with a curt nod. "But if we may ask, how do you intend to take over the company from them."
"That should be left for me to handle, there is still a lot of time leftforthat -I'll when I'm ready to take over it." She uttered with an air of authority. "For now, we will just have to look into what's important at the moment, which is finding a way to bring the company back to success."
"Have you tried discussing it with the executives there?" A man from the other end of the table suggested, his voice reasoning. "Since it's practically dealing with their company, it's important if you have this discussion with them to bring a solution to it."
"It doesn't matter for now." Ciara vocalized, her voice sharp. "If there is anything to be discussed with them, I'll have to make a conclusion here before placing everything before them."
"So, what's your plan in bringing the company back from the brink of collapse and make it stand on it own as it used to?" The question was thrown to Ciara.
Ciara cleared her throat lightly before speaking. "I have a strategy that, I believe, will bring us back to success. But it will require some difficult decisions. We need to be prepared to make tough choices and take risks. Are you all ready to do what it takes to save the company?"
The room was silent for a moment, and then one of the board members spoke up. "We're with you, Ms. Ciara. We trust your judgement, and we're ready to do whatever it takes to make the company successful again." He uttered, his voice laced with confidence, and the others nodded in approval of his words.
Cara smiles, a feeling of relief washing over her. "Thank you..."She stated gracefully. "I'm confident this is the fastest and better routes to skyrocketing the company's success in no time."
Ciara adjusted slightly on her seat as she lay the stacks of paper with her on the table, there, she already outlined all the strategy needed.
"Here's my plan." Cara says, and begins to lay out her strategy. She explains that the company needs to focus on new markets and new products, and she outlines the steps that need to be taken to make that happen.
Her plans were fluent with no flaws in it as the board members listened intently, asking questions and offering suggestions, if needed, as the meeting goes on. It's clear that they're all on board with Ciara's plan, since none of them were against her.
At the end of the meeting, they all stand up and shake hands, pledging their commitment to making the company a success.
As everyone leaves the boardroom, Ciara stands at the window, looking out at the city below. She thinks about all the hard work that lies ahead, but she feels a sense of determination. She's ready to fight for this company's future, no matterwhat it takes.
And so, Cara's journey to turn around the company begins. She faces challenges and setbacks along the way, but with the help of her team, she pushes through and makes progress. Slowly, but surely, the company starts to come back to life.
