Chapter 51" Bright Sky, Got angry with them all."

Avery P.O.V.

I can't believe this! So when my parents left me alone with them! I didn't want to be near them because I feared what would happen when I was alone with my mates, aka bullies. So, I just stood there, staring at the ground, and I felt one of them lift up my chin and make me look at him in the face.

Elijah! I thought in my mind. Why me, I thought. I wanted to cry and hide from him and Jake. I don't want them to see how they make me feel. So, I wanted to avoid speaking or being around them. I can't handle it if they regret me and tell me it was all a joke the whole time. My heart can't handle that, and I will never recover from a broken heart.

"Avery, sweetheart, I heard Elijah say when I was in my own thoughts. I started staring into his eyes. I look into his gorgeous blue eyes, but I don't hear and see Jake coming closer.

"Why did you run away from us?" Elijah asked me. I didn't know what to say, but I just opened up and said.

" Because I don't believe you and Jake," I told him with a serious expression on my face. Because I wasn't backing down from this, I knew this was all a joke and a bet. I got this feeling there is more they are not telling me. When I wasn't talking, I heard Jake behind me say.

"No, sweetheart, we are not lying to you; you are our mate, Avery." He told me with a serious voice, but I didn't look back at him. I kept my face with a straight expression staring threw Elijah. I was not staring at him but threw him, and then I heard Jake sigh and let out a breath, and I felt him grab me behind my neck and twist me around after I let out a yelp.

"Listen, and listen well!." We are not lying to you, sweetheart." Why would we be out here right now if you weren't your mate?" I heard him say in a deep and profound voice. I do want to believe him, so for now, I let it go and accept them. So, I nodded my head at them and told them.

"Okay, I believe you," I told them with a sweet smile, but with my eyes, I was telling them what they wanted to hear and what I was feeling inside; I was hesitant, cautious, and not believing what they were saying to me. So, I didn't want them to be angry at me, so I just changed the subject and went back to paying attention to Jake when he opened his mouth again.

"Okay, he said with a big grin on his handsome face. So, When he made me stare into his eyes. Then I remember Elijah on the other side of me. I saw him in the corner of my eye.

He was smiling, and I felt his hand bump my hand. Then he nudged it. I looked down and saw he was trying to open up my hand so he could place his in mine hand. He wanted to hold my hand, so I let him. I pulled closer to him, and I looked up and smiled at his face.

Jake didn't want to be left out, so he grabbed around my waist and lifted my face towards him; he kissed my lips softly, and then he pulled away before we started to begin the make-out section with one of the most handsome guys in my school.

I started to step back away from them. I also started to pull away from the guys that said I was their mate. When I moved away from them, their smile dropped, and they looked heartbroken and hurt.

I didn't want them to feel like that. I didn't want to hurt them, but I didn't truth them for what they did to me. So the look on their face, I can see they didn't like me moving away from them. Wow, they may want me and want me to be with them forever and be my mate.

I sighed and turned away from them when I heard someone yelling for me and them. I saw my best friends walking towards me, and the guys were teasing and bullying them, following them, and they all started walking towards us.

"Avery! there you are." I saw Ashely walking towards me and grabbing me away from the guys. I heard growls coming beside me. I knew both of them did that because they didn't like when Ashely took me away from their prey and their toy.

"What's wrong, Avery!" Why are you crying?" She asked me and turned around and gave the guys a rude look. "What you do to her!" She demands them with a snarling look on her face.

We didn't do anything to her!" I heard Elijah say with his teeth showing.

"Yeah, mind your fucking business! I heard Jake say with an angry tone in his voice. I had never heard him be rude to someone before. That was the first for him because out of the bullies, his the nicest one out of them.

So, yeah, I am not going to mind my business assholes!" Ashely yelled, and I heard and saw their fist tightening up, and the look on their face wasn't good.

I can see they will blow soon if I don't stop them angering, and Ashely needs to be careful before she provokes my mates. What? Then I started getting annoyed with my friends. I know they are trying to help me, but it angers me. That was when I yelled out.

"SHUT THE HELL UP, JUST STOP IT ALL READY!" I saw all of them stop angering and look at me with a shocking looks. Once I stopped yelling at them, I stared at them and felt terrible.

I never yelled at someone before, and I am usually a wimp and never take up for myself. So, now I am being all brave, and I didn't like how everyone treated me like a baby.
