Avery P.O.V.
I heard Matthew yelling at me. When I got around the corner, I ran smack into a hard object, but that was when I heard the object groan. Huh, how can an object have groaned?
I looked up and saw Elijah and Jake right beside him, staring at me with a worried expression. I sighed and let out a breath. I didn't know I was holding, and I let out.
I didn't know what I did, but I put my arms around them and started crying in their arms. I didn't care; I was hugging them, and I was glad it was them and not another person.
"Avery! Where have you been." We have been looking everywhere for you." I heard Jake say. "Yeah, sweetheart, we wanted to make sure you're okay and not hurt," Elijah said to me. I didn't mean it, but I started crying, and my body was shaking because I was so scared.
"Hey, sweetheart, you are shaking; what's wrong?" Jake asked me, still rubbing my back.
"Nothing, I thought I saw something, but never mind, I am fine, thanks," I say with a frightening voice and a lie at the same time. But the truth was I did see a snake, and he was yelling at me and trying to hurt me earlier. I heard Elijah laughing at what I told them.
"Aww, princess." All, if that's it, I'll take it. If that gets you in my arms, I take it any day of the week." I heard him say, and I lifted my head and gave him a weird look, and I saw him wink.
That was when I shook my head and bent my eyes back down on his chest. I was holding them tight because I was afraid of Matthew coming and getting me.
I am so scared and shaking in their arms because of what happened earlier. I lift my head so that if I see him coming down the hall. I have protection with two strong men in front of me. I know they won't let someone hurt me.
"It's okay, baby girl. We got you." Let it out." I heard Elijah say, rubbing my back up and down, and for the first time, he was saying something sweet and nice for once at me.
I was so shocked I let out a tiny chuckle. I said something I thought I would never. "I am so glad you're here," I told them with a tighter hold on their waist.
"Thank you, thank you," I whispered under my breath. I didn't mean to say it out of my mouth. But I stopped and waited to see or hear if they heard me, but I watched their body language and the expression on their face.
But I didn't see anything or hear anything from them. I just felt them rubbing my shoulders and back. It was like they didn't listen to me say anything. I felt my cheeks turning red because of what I said. Even though they didn't say anything, I still felt embarrassed.
"Hey, come on, babe." Let us take you to your homeroom." I felt his chest move when he said. Oh, my, I thought, his sexy deep voice. What does his voice do to my body? I say to myself. I am in my own thoughts about what his sexy mouth and lips can do to my body.
"Avery, this is not the time to be turned on." You better cut it out before they smell you're- "I told myself. But before I know it. I sucked in a breath when I heard a groan and heard them sniffing the air. "Fuck, Avery, are you trying to kill us." I heard Elijah say in his seductive voice.
"Because I can smell your aroused, and it's hard to resist right now." I heard Jake say too. I can feel my cheeks, and they are hot with being embarrassed.
I am feeling awkward right now because of the silence surrounding us when I let them go.
I step away from them but not far, just enough to give me space. When I looked up at them, I could see their eyes were darker once they found I was turned on because I was in heat again.
I need to get away from here before all the single unmated men don't try to screw me. If I can go somewhere and take care of my problem before I go to class or let them take care of me like before, I go crazy walking around trying to fuck anyone with a dick.
I don't want to do that to happen. I am not that kind of girl.
I licked my lips, staring up at them; I knew they could see in my eyes I wanted them! And I do want them bad. It's time to let them take me.
So, I walked closer to them, started rubbing up against their chest, and smiled at them. I tell them with my eyes to follow me.
I turn around and start walking away from them.
But I am hoping they follow me. At first, I didn't hear them following me until I heard their footsteps. Ha-ha, I thought with a smirk on my face. I knew they would follow me.
Once exited the hallway, I walked down a dark, cold hallway. Once I saw a door on the left, and I opened it, and the door flew open, and I walked into a beautiful room with a black couch and took in this big warm room. I started walking over to the couch, and I saw a spot.
I sat down and started to wait to see if the guys were still following me. I waited for them at first, then I thought maybe they were not coming until I heard their footsteps stop outside, and I looked up and saw them in the doorway staring at me with heat and fire in their eyes.
