The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 138

Ch. 138 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero's Perspective

Whenever Perseus sleeps with me. I would wake up to his tiny arms tightly wrapped around my waist while his face was buried in my arm. It's the muscle cramps and the numbing sensation that wakes me up earlier than usual, and so when I didn't feel him using my arm as his pillow, I instinctively called for his name before I could open my arm.

"Mate, shh. He's still sleeping," Claudius said in a low voice.

I couldn't help but smile and silently giggle as I saw how Perseus had wrapped his arm around his father's upper body.

"He's hugging me so tightly that I could barely breathe, but I can't dare whine. I like feeling this little pup in my arm," he said to me.

Perseus looks tiny in Claudius' arms, way more fragile looking compared to when he is in my arms.

"Don't move. I'll take a picture of you two," I said to him and slowly got up, moving carefully so the noise wouldn't wake up our son.

Claudius smiled and even made a peace sign as I snapped a picture of my father and son. After a few stolen shots. Perseus moves on his arm. Claudius and I pretended that we were still asleep.

Perseus got up. He looked at me. He moved his face closer to me and moved it once more until I could no longer hold it and I started to laugh.

"I know what you did, Mama. You took a picture of me while I was asleep. I told you not to do that, Mama!" Perseus whined in a sulky voice.

I sat up too, "I swear you look cute in these pictures. You can check it and if you don't like the shots. I'll delete it," I said, even raising my arm to swear my honesty.

"I know you were posing while Mama was taking a picture of me," Perseus said to Claudius. Unlike me, Claudius sat up fast and smiled sheepishly at his son.

"Your mama is right, Perseus. We looked cute. Please, at least let us keep one picture. I'd like to use it as wallpaper on my phone," Claudius murmured shyly as he convinced his mini-me to give his permission.

Perseus opened his palm to ask for my phone. He scrolled on the gallery and when he found a picture that he liked. Perseus deleted every other shot and kept the one that he liked.

"You can send him that picture, Mama," Perseus said before he nonchalantly left our tent.

"Moon Goddess, I didn't know that my heart would flatter this bad for a single picture of me and my pup. Can you see my face?" Claudius asked while he was pointing at his cheeks.

"I think I'm blushing because of him," he whispered, which made me roll my eyes in a joking manner.

Perseus was stretching his body when we got out of our tent.

"I'll change my pajamas, Mama. Can we have our breakfast in the greenhouse?" He asked while he was fluttering his eyes beautifully at us to make sure that we wouldn't be able to say no to him.

"Caspian?" Claudius called at his still half-asleep Beta who was coming out of his and Miguel's tent.

"Please tell them that the three of us will have our breakfast in the greenhouse."

"The three of us? Do you mean you, Perseus, and Eero? How about me, and Miguel? Should we just die from starvation? We're hungry too, we certainly know how to eat breakfast too."

"You and Miguel can eat your breakfast in the kitchen inside," he said. Claudius stopped speaking and immediately looked down on Perseus after our pup tugged his arm.

"The more, the merrier, Claudius. It's fun having Beta Caspian around. I want to eat with him and Papa Miguel."

"See?" Caspian seconded, "Our little prince wants me around. I think I'm going to be his best friend and the best friend of the future Alpha of Regulus. You should be careful not to upset me or I'll ask Perseus to punish you." Perseus shakes his head at Caspian.

"How childish," he commented before he walked away to change his pajamas.

Caspian reached to grab a pancake, but Claudius hit the back of his palm.

"No one is eating until everyone is here. Perseus will be upset if we start eating without him."

"But it's been an hour. You better fetch your son from his room and bring him here or I'll starve to death." The wind brought Edith's scent.

"Perseus and his nanny are on their way here," I said to them, but I started frowning after I couldn't sniff my pup's scent.

"Where is he?" I asked Edith.

"W-Who, your grace?"

"P-Perseus," I said, trying to stay calm.

"That's the thing, your grace. I came here to pick up the young prince so he could freshen up before breakfast." Edith glanced at the tent.

"Is he not sleeping in the tent?"

"No, Edith. Perseus came inside an hour ago to change his pajamas. You didn't see him?" I asked. Edith shakes his head.

"I was waiting for the young prince in his room way before the sunrise. I didn't even see his shadow." Claudius stood up from his seat. Our eyes met and fear swallowed me in a second.

"Go check Octavio if he's still locked up in the cell in the basement," he said to Caspian.

We all stopped on our track as we saw the head of the deltas running towards us.

"I am not sure yet how it happened, but Beta Octavio escaped from his cell. He killed the deltas guarding it," the head of the pack's delta reported to Claudius.

I wasn't able to fully process what was going on when I saw Claudius and Caspian run to the dungeon where Beta Octavio was last seen.

"O-Octavio h-has my pup?" I asked Miguel, who was left behind to check up on me.

"Eero."

"We will find, Perseus. We can find him. Claudius will bring him back to you again. Just stay behind and wait for us." I hold Miguel's arm and shake my head.

"N-No. I don't want to be left behind. I'll help search for my pup. I'm coming with you."
