The Rebirth of My Dead Billionaire Wife

Chapter 151

Ch. 151 / 300 Apr 25, 2026

The day of Avery’s first birthday dawned bright and sunny, with a soft breeze carrying the scent of blooming flowers across the backyard. The transformation was complete, and Alessia couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride and excitement as she stepped out to take one last look before the guests arrived.

The backyard was a dream. Twinkling string lights crisscrossed above the space, creating a magical canopy that would glow as the evening settled. Tables were draped in pastel pink and lavender linens, adorned with fresh floral arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, and baby’s breath. Tiny fairy figurines peeked out from the blooms, adding a whimsical touch. Golden chairs gleamed in the sunlight, their cushions tied with soft ribbons that fluttered in the breeze.

A corner of the yard was dedicated to a DIY photo booth Alessia had envisioned. A lush moss wall served as the backdrop, decorated with oversized paper flowers in varying shades of pink and purple. A shimmering sign above it read, “Avery’s Enchanted Garden.” Nearby, baskets filled with flower crowns and fairy wands awaited the guests.

The dessert table stole the show. The three-tiered cake sat proudly in the center, its pastel ombré frosting and intricate sugar flowers glinting in the light. Surrounding it were trays of macarons, cupcakes with edible flowers, cake pops, and cookies shaped like butterflies and stars.

Inside, Alessia was getting Avery ready. The birthday girl wore a custom-made dress that Alessia had chosen months ago—a soft pink tulle skirt with tiny flower appliqués and a matching headband. Her chubby cheeks were rosy, and her bright eyes sparkled with curiosity as Alessia tied the satin bow at the back of her dress.

“You look like a little princess,” Alessia whispered, holding Avery up to the mirror. “What do you think?”

Avery giggled, reaching out to touch her reflection. Alessia laughed, her heart swelling with love. “You’re perfect, baby girl.”

Theo walked into the room, adjusting the cuffs of his shirt. When he saw Avery, he froze, a wide grin spreading across his face. “Wow. Look at you, little lady. You’re stealing all the attention today.”

Avery squealed in response, reaching out for him. Theo took her in his arms, spinning her gently. “Happy birthday, princess,” he said, kissing her cheek. “Your big day is finally here.”

Alessia watched them, her eyes misting. “She’s so big already. Can you believe it?”

Theo shook his head, his expression soft. “Not even a little. But I can’t wait to celebrate her.”

As the guests began to arrive, the backyard came alive with laughter and chatter. Pamela was one of the first to show up, wearing a floral sundress and carrying an oversized gift bag. She rushed straight to Avery.

“Where’s my birthday girl?” Pamela cooed, crouching down to Avery’s level. “Oh my goodness, look at you! You’re the prettiest little thing I’ve ever seen.”

Avery giggled, patting Pamela’s cheeks with her tiny hands.

“She’s already a charmer,” Zane said, strolling in with a grin. He took one look at the flower crowns and rolled his eyes. “I’m not wearing one of those, Alessia.”

“Oh, you are,” Alessia said, smirking as she handed him one. “No flower crown, no cake.”

Zane groaned but put it on, earning laughs from everyone nearby.

The party was a hit. Children ran around with bubble wands, their laughter mingling with the soft music playing in the background. Adults mingled at the tables, sipping sparkling cider and admiring the decorations.

Avery was the center of attention, her giggles and coos melting hearts everywhere she went. She clapped her hands during the cake cutting, her face lighting up as Alessia and Theo helped her blow out the single candle on her cake.

“Happy birthday, Avery!” everyone cheered, and Avery let out a delighted squeal.
