"K-Kids? Grandpa, what does that mean?" I was confused.
He smiled at me before answering. "You lost your memories after the incident, when your twin died, so you'll never remember him."
My eyes widened because of what he said.
I know, I know that I lost my memories when I was a kid. But it's surprising to know that Froze and I have known each other since the very beginning.
"Since we're still kids? H-How did it happen?" I will ask.
"He's there, when you and your twin were kidnapped. He was there." Those were the words that shocked me so much.
Froze? Is he one of the victims?
"He was kidnapped too?"
He shook his head and grinned at me. "Why don't you ask him personally, Arrow? Deal with each other."
I didn't answer what he said, I quickly ran out to look for Froze.
I looked around the whole palace to find him, but I still couldn't see his figure.
I tried to peek into the training room but he wasn't in there either.
I paused for a moment to think of my room. He might be there, right. I know he's always inside my room to guard me.
I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw him inside my room. He immediately turned his gaze at me before smirking.
"You're not shouting at me right now, that's strange-Fuck!" he was cheap when I stoned him with my heels.
I threw stones at him on both sides causing him to frown and look at me in surprise.
"What the hell, baby? What are you--"
Her speech was interrupted by a series of tears.
"Why didn't you tell me, Froze?" I asked, crying.
He ignored the reddened cheek, he quickly approached me to cover both my cheeks.
"Hey, beautiful, why are you crying? Tell me," he said confused.
Annoyed, I slapped him on the chest before sobbing in his arm. "I hate you so much, Froze. Why didn't you tell me that it was all of my grandfather's plan all this time?"
He gently pulled me away from him to wipe the tears from my cheeks. "He told you about that?"
I nodded.
I saw how his eyes watered, he kissed my lips in a gentle way before kissing my forehead.
"I'm glad. I'm so fucking glad that you found out about it already, I can no longer bear those days that you always wanted to kick me out," he said in relief.
I smiled bitterly. "I'm so-sorry, I was just really hurt."
"I know, baby, I know. It's okay, and I'm sorry for hurting you."
"But Froze, please explain to me. How have we known each other since the beginning?" I was confused.
He helped me sit up in bed before answering.
"I was there when those ass holes kidnapped you and your twin. They took my brother, Sebastian, too. But I followed the van you were riding in with Primo. We were just a kid but we knew that there's something wrong so I decided to enter that basement, but I told my youngest brother to leave and tell Kuya Avenight what happened. I was the only one who persevered to find where they hid my kuya. I know he's capable of fighting alone, but these guys who took you are much stronger because they are a clan. And hell, kuya Sebastian was so young back then. " I just nodded while listening carefully to his story.
"I saw you and your twin, but you're inside the other room where brother Sebastian was being held. I thought you weren't among the kids they got because your twin wasn't tied to you, especially you, I saw you talking to that armed guy so I thought you're his child. Kuya Avenight and the other Elityians came, everyone was upset but I didn't see you two of your twins. Many died in their group, but I just found out that you guys are being held also when I saw how afraid you are. So even though there was still chaos inside, I chose to follow what those escaped idiots brought to you. They caught me, and they tied me inside the exact room with the two of you. I saw how hopeless you are, seeing your twin sister suffering. I tried to talk to you, and we came up with an idea, we tried escaping with your twin. We almost did it, baby. But they got your twin, and you love her so much so you decided to come with her. I don't know where you are anymore, you when I come back, I won't be able to ask for help. I accidentally saw a cellphone on the table and tried to call my brother. They came, baby, they came but it's too late, your twin was dead and I never had the chance to see you again. "I wiped the tears that dripped from her eyes.
He suffered also back then.
"I just found out that you're the princess of Korea, so I talked to your grandfather, Gunner. I told him not to let any guy around you, because I'm the only one you can marry eventually. I'm the only man in life I even need to use my surname for, and Gunner promised me that since I saved you. " Something touched my heart after he told me everything.
He also had a hard time then, with me and my twin.
If I only knew, I wouldn't treat him like what I did for the past few days.
"I'm sorry, Froze," I tearfully promised.
I leaned on his chest which he immediately returned with a kiss on the forehead.
He combed my hair using his fingers which calmed me down.
"It's okay, baby, it's my fault too. Stop saying sorry, okay? I love you so much." He gently kissed my lips which I returned.
"I love you too," I whispered.
He pulled away from me to wipe away my tears. "I'm so glad that I can finally see your smiles, baby. Do you know how worried I was when I saw you bloody then?"
"W-What?" I asked in astonishment.
He looked at me with his cloudy eyes. "Yes, baby. I found your body first before I gave you to Victoria and Henry."
