CHAPTER 85 - GOING TO THE CAPITAL"Then, will you take me with you?" Liam asked.
"Eh?" as soon as Harriet heard it, she was immediately taken aback. "To the capital?"
Liam nodded.
"But… your body…"
"Even if I have to be in a wheelchair, I'll still follow you to the capital," Liam said seriously, cutting off Harriet's words.
Harriet furrowed her brows, something she had rarely done in response to Liam's words. This time, what Liam said really took her by surprise. "Okay. Then I'll actually get you a wheelchair, okay?" Harriet got worried.
Liam felt a complicated feeling in his chest. But in order for Harriet to let him come, maybe he just had to compromise and be willing to sit in a wheelchair. So he nodded.
His wife was still looking at him worriedly. But like it or not, seeing the seriousness in Liam's eyes, she gave up. After all, it was also good for Liam to go on a trip to change the atmosphere. Harriet stroked Liam's cheek and hugged him until he fell into dreamland. She wondered why Liam suddenly insisted on going with her.
Was he worried about something?

Early in the morning, after a full moon night in front of a hotel, a luxurious and elegant horse-drawn carriage that had little to no decoration stopped and parked for a moment. From behind the carriage, followed an escort group of dozens of burly Lycans led by Sir Russel, a trusted Lycan under the leadership of the Old Duke.
The tall and burly man dismounted from his horse and unloaded a wheelchair from the carriage storage trunk, then pushed it in front of the carriage entrance.
From inside the carriage came a young woman in a brown robe. The woman descended smoothly without anyone's help and turned back, holding out her hand to help another person down from the carriage.
Then, descended a young man in a robe of the same colour as the previous woman. It was seen that the man was shaking down the steps of the horse carriage, and landed on the ground assisted by the young woman by his side.
He quickly got into the wheelchair, and Sir Russell began to push the man into the hotel. The young woman, Harriet, lowered the hood of her cloak, looking to the east, where the sun was beginning to rise at the boundary between horizon and land.
She narrowed her eyes coldly. After looking around and making sure no one was really paying attention to them, Harriet walked into the hotel.
Before long, news of Harriet's return to the capital with a man pushed in a wheelchair spread. Even though Harriet had come while hiding her whereabouts a bit, and she had also looked around carefully, still someone found out about it and spread the news around.
However, this was not all because of the man in the wheelchair.
All the uproar in the capital that exploded as soon as Harriet arrived was caused by a strange rumour.
***
Arai Padparadscha was the eldest daughter of Padparadscha Duchy. She had pastel orange hair with a hint of pink, cut short and neatly like a man's haircut. The woman's skin was a sweet dark tone, like black honey, and her eyes were a deep red, almost brown when seen from afar.
Even though she looked tomboyish and masculine, Arai had a curvaceous and slender body. Her chest looked plump and her thighs were very plumpy, making her admired by many men–if only she wasn't Arai Padparadscha, the fierce and stern second strongest Knight on the Euclase Empire Continent, nicknamed the Sunset Phoenix.
Ezekiel was the strongest. Under him was Arai, and under Arai was Heath. The three of them were highly respected by all the royal knights and also the knights from any family.
However, behind all that, Arai actually...
BANG!
"Huee–!"
On a different hotel, inside a VIP room, Arai, who was wearing a sexy lacy nightgown, tried to hold back her tears while sipping a bottle of liquor.
"Just wait… as soon as I meet Harri, I'll tell her everything! You will regret it, you bastard!" she said sobbingly in a thick southern accent, then cried again.
Broken heart.
Arai was still an ordinary woman even though she might be a respected strong knight. And it was natural to have a breakdown like this after being left by a lover, right? Of course. Moreover, it was normal considering the reason they broke up, which was very ridiculous and unbelievable.
"Why did you lie to me? Why are you dating me if you are gay?!" Arai screamed into the pillow to drown out her own voice. "Harri has to know this and she will destroy you, you piece of shit!"
Oh, she was determined to tell Harriet. She would make Harriet help her get revenge on that hypocrite and make him never think about repeating all his mistakes after being taught a lesson.
Arai was sure that Harriet would find a way to properly punish the man.
Arai, who was having a hangover because she had drunk too much all night until morning, heard her bedroom door open. Her men bowed deeply and handed the woman a letter. Of course, Arai who was still completely drunk received the letter with her hand limp like jelly and read it.
CRASH!
The woman immediately slammed the bottom of the drinking glass in her hand onto the table. "What is this?!"
Her subordinate, a young talented knight, Sir Phillip, paled at the sight of Arai's anger which immediately exploded upon seeing the contents of the letter containing the latest rumours of the capital.
"How dare those pests spread this kind of rumour at a time like this! Has Harri arrived? Where is she staying? Do you think she already knows?"
Sir Phillip tilted his face with a confused expression.
"I-I don't know, M'lady," the man stammered with a southern accent similar to Arai's.
Arai stood up, staggered slightly, but quickly regained her balance. The tall and curvaceous woman immediately changed her clothes and put on her crimson robe. Instantly, she changed from the sexy, whiny, and spoiled Arai to Arai the Knight.
"Tell Harri that Arai asked her to meet at the usual place."
