Every small movement of Lita couldn't escape Alex's eyes. At first, she was in high spirit and ran out to meet him blushed. But when she saw that Nina hug him, she moved aside quietly like a jealous wife.
Was this woman jealous? It was just a courtesy hug and cheek kissing. Lita's expression was really adorable.
After taking the file bag that Nina gave him and saying goodbye to her, Alex walked to the side of Lita who was standing there waiting.

"Are you throwing yourself at me?" Alex stroked his painful chin and stared at Lita's stubborn face playfully.
With more stubbornness, Lita would irritate him; with less stubbornness, Lita would make him bored; now her state was perfect to him.
"Mr. Alex is so handsome and rich. There are numerous women who are going to throw themselves at you. I can't get in the queue.

Lita scoffed at his comment that she wasn't willing to let him marry one of the Bishop girls. How could that be possible! She wished Alex could get married asap so that he would not pester her like a rutting animal.
"Sister-in-laws are not possible, a wife and a concubine might be possible." Alex took the herb tea brought by Alice and took a sip gracefully.
"A wife and a concubine? What does that mean? Does this man want to have two wives? Thinking about two Bishop girls marrying into Selmy family, she could picture the scene would be remarkable.
"Anyway, I've completed the task of passing the message. Uncle Jack invited you to have dinner at his house on Sunday evening, which is tomorrow evening." After repeated the message again, she turned and slipped into the guest room. She didn't want to stay in the living room and be too close to Alex.
Lita felt that the only thing she had to do now was to keep a distance from Alex, her "brother-in-law". She could not betray Ethan again and again.

Maria had a famous baker come to her house to make a box of mango pastries which was both attractive to the eye and arousing to appetite. Her purpose was obvious. She wanted Bella to please Alex.
The information that Alex liked to eat food made of mango was supplied by Lita when she questioned her last time.
"Bella, I have prepared this for you. Hurry up and send it to Alex's house while it's hot. It would be a little before dinner time when you arrive there. He should be at home. I'll call Lita to make sure of it a moment later," Maria said as she handed the box of delicate mango cakes to her daughter's hands.
