Louisa Unchained

Chapter 172

Ch. 172 / 262 Apr 29, 2026

  Lucas' POV

That fucking duel of royal siblings made me sick. They smell like rotten old money, which, basically, smells like shit. Besides, they look like a pair of fucking porcelain dolls. So fucking fragile. I want to fuck both of them at the same time without lubrication until they fucking dropped dead on the floor.

"Is she alright?" Zackery asked me with concerns.

Fuck, no, she isn't alright, you fucking idiot. You fucking violated my woman by kissing her against her will and that's why she threw herself off from the fucking fifth floor. She's undead, but that doesn't mean she's a fucking rubber ball.

"She's doing a good job of recovering, Your Excellency," I said. "Please don't worry."

"I want to see her." He said and walked forward in a hurry.

I stopped him by standing in front of him and physically blocking his way.

"Your Excellency," I lowered my voice and said, "I don't think it's appropriate for..."

"What did you just say?" He raised his voice and asked.

Everyone at the scene was shocked.

Fuck. I finally did it. I finally managed to piss him off.

That fucking gigolo had never looked so vexed with his eyes fixating on me.

I knew there was a fucking ugly face hidden behind his fucking porcelain mask.

I bowed and said, "Your Excellency, all I'm saying is that she needs some privacy."

"Everyone leaves the scene. Right now," Zackery commanded in a cold voice.

I could see his inner volcano was fuming with white smoke and was just about to explode.

All soldiers, including his and mine, walked away.

Lucian looked at me with inquiry and I returned him with a nod. He stood beside me for a brief moment, then eventually walked away with Zabel.

The street in front of the Grand Hall was completely empty, not a single person or animal broke the monotony of the black tarmac. It must have been raining because the street lamps dimly lit the rain-soaked streets. The sky was dark and overcast, with an occasional roll of thunder rumbling in the distance. Tall birch trees lined each side of the streets like fucking soldiers and the sound of raindrops on tiled roofs constantly drummed in my ears, which was mind-numbing.

"What is your last name, Lucas?" Zackery asked.

This night just keeps getting fucking interesting.

"I don't have a last name, Your Excellency," I replied.

"Everyone has a last name. I need yours," Zackery said.

He isn't negotiating with me. He's fucking giving me orders. That fucking gigolo is on fire tonight.

"Well, I can't give it to you, Your Excellency. I don't know about my last name," I stared at him and said. "My parents passed away as soon as I was born and I was raised by Alpha Clement of the White Walkers. I thought His Majesty had told you about my past experience."

Zackery said, "Lycidas has told me about your past experience, which was entirely fabricated by you. He knew it was a lie the very first time you told him, but he didn't point it out. If there was ever one moment in your life that you thought you would cheat us and get away with it, you need to get rid of that thought right now."

Is this warning? Or a threat? It's just like his fucking sexual preference, which is hard to tell.

Like all the fucking Lycans, he's a fucking Nasserist and a lunatic. That's for sure.

Other than this, nothing of this man is clear.

Fuck you, Zackery. You want to talk about lies? OK. Bring it on. Let's talk about lies.

"Your Excellency, I don't understand a word of what you've just said," I said. "I am known by many names, but I've never been called a liar. I haven't lied to Lycidas, nor to you. If you force me to make up a miserable childhood story and tell you now, that will be a lie. As far as I know, in our trade of business, liars don't last long."

The rumbling of thunder was getting closer. It seemed a fucking storm was impending.

Zackery walked closer to me along with the thunder.

"Nobody has ever seen your wolf. Shift into a wolf right now and let me see it," Zackery commanded.

"I'm not a Lycan like you, Your Excellency. I have to wait for the next full moon to shift," I said.

"Lucas, come forward," Zackery moved his fingers and said.

I stepped forward. He leaned towards me and said, "I want you to know that this is a very sensitive moment. You have to show our unconditional loyalty to Lycidas, because he is haunted and has become paranoid these days. He has eliminated almost everyone in his old cabinet except Dire, you, and me. Now, with everyone's life on a thread, I wonder who is going to be the next."

As he was saying, his hand shifted into a black wolf claw with razor-sharp nails. He slowly dragged his claw against the skin across my neck and all the way down to my chest.

Blood immediately got out of my wounds and my 500,000 kron tuxedo started to be ripped into straps and soaked in blood.

He continued, "You see, I am Lycidas' half-brother, but I guess you understand how blood-tie works in our world. Dire is slowly losing his mind right now and he starts to believe in some very expensive and dangerous ideas those druids have sold him. But you... You've been doing so well these days in the North that you even pushed Lycidas to send me to your camp for a peace treaty. You grew up with Lycidas during the days when he was exiled and most vulnerable and that's why he takes you as his only loyal ally. That, I totally understand. But what I really don't understand is how a man as suspicious as Lycidas could believe in someone who doesn't even have a last name?"

"Your Excellency, I'm very concerned about His Majesty's safety and well-being," I said.

"And that's why you've sent your troop to the King's Land while I'm staying here with you on your camp?" Zackery embedded his nail deep into my flesh and asked. "You know, some people might think that you've kidnapped me and you're trying to make a threat to His Majesty the King."

"Your Excellency, you know me, I'm just self-made nobody, trying to make everyone happy." I smiled at Zackery despite the pain in my chest and said. "But, His Majesty will always be my priority."

At that time, I heard the sound of steps coming from behind.

I looked back and saw that fucking she-wolf stumbling towards us.
