He yelled at everyone present at the training center, before turning back to Debbie. I could hear a lot of low gasps and whispers among the people standing, as they digested what he just said. The color from Debbie's face had drained off and she stammered, finding it hard to speak any further.
"No this can't be '' but I thought I did be your mate. She murmurs to herself. Because her birthday is only a few days to go and she happens to be one of that pack's strongest she-wolves. I wouldn't have been caught off guard if they happened to be mates, the thought of them being mates makes a pang of hurt in my heart, Gabriel must have felt it through the bond that it hurt me because his eyes shifted back to green and turned to look over to where I was standing. He turned back to Debbie and gave her a cruel smile.
"You? My mate?" I will always thank and worship the Moon goddess for not pairing me with someone like you. He says get harshly, a tone I was very familiar with over the years of torture from him. Debbie was not used to this kind of treatment, as her eyes were filled with tears.
Get going to the kitchen now. And get well acquitted to the kitchen duty, because if your attitude doesn't change, you will be seeing a lot of it. He says with narrowed eyes, she turns on her hill and runs. I could hear the sound of her sobbing echoing through the training ground.
"Anyone else have something smart to say?" He yells out making everyone jump back in fright. They all avert their eyes to the ground except me, I was a glaring dagger at him. As if he could feel it, he locked eyes with me before he opened his mouth to speak again.
"Everyone else goes on a run. Now, he yelled at them before walking up to me, I turned as if to follow the rest, but he grabbed my wrist to stop me from going".
"Not you sweetheart" he murmurs.
"Awwnnn" Helen cooed from my side and I snarled back at her, she widened her eyes at me and began to run with the rest of the pack members. Gabriel waited until they were out of sight and dropped my wrist.
"What?" I shouted at him
I kept you back if you could tell me. He says simply as he shrugs his shoulders.
Seriously, I'm confused and he nods.
I'm sorry I let my wolf lose control, he couldn't stand her talking to you that way. He says rubbing the back of his neck I smacked him on the chest and he took a step back.
"God damn it "Gabriel, you couldn't even last a single day? It wasn't even a day and an hour? I yelled at him and he lowered his gaze in shame."And also the fact that you slept with her?" Do you have any standards at all? Practically everyone in the pack knows that she is a living sex-machine. Yet you slept with her" I huffed and crossed my hands under my chest. Gabriel Gabe gave me an apologetic look before taking a deep breath.
"You are right, I wasn't In my right mind sleeping with her, I'm really stupid to have looked at her, to begin with," he says and his admission makes me crack a smile.
"What are you smiling about?" He asked curiously and I rolled my eyes at him
It feels good, the way you defended me just now in front of the pack members. I said quietly and he gave me a shy smile, inching closer and he reached out his arm to wrap around me.
"Yeah?" He asked, tucking his face in my neck and breathing deeply.
"Yeah," I say before shoving him away. But you are still an asshole and you are going to get checked for the disease before you think of touching me again. I say firmly. Pointing at him and he bent over to laugh until his stomach couldn't take it anymore and he wiped tears away from his eyes.
" That's probably an honest idea". He responded and I couldn't stop myself from laughing. We both continued to laugh until everyone came back from their run. Gabriel paired me with Helen this time around, and the rest of the training activity was lucky and uneventful. After Gabriel dismissed everyone, I turned to walk home, only to have him stop me.
