"What are you doing?" I asked him irritatedly.
" Well, I am just trying to be a good mate". He says shrugging and doing that thing where he rubs the back of his neck.

We reached the training ground and I walked away from him to where the other women were standing. I found Kate and she immediately pulled me away from the other women.

She whispered into my ear loud enough for me to hear her, I gasped and pushed her away from me as I chuckled out loudly drawing everyone's attention to us including Gabriel. I feel my face heat up in a blush as I grab her hand, pulling her further away.
"How did you come to find out? I asked her".

"We're going to pair up and spar today". Gabriel calls out, from the front of the group.
He paired me together with an old enemy.
"Yuck, I heard her groan loudly making everyone look at her.
"Seriously, Gabriel, did you just pair me with her? You know I don't even want to talk to her. Who knows what kind of disease that slut has. She sneers and Gabriel growls back at her angrily, surprising everyone because he would normally laugh at such taunts thrown at me.
"Shut up Debbie," he says to her harshly.
Just give me a new partner and I will. She said with a shrug and Gabriel walked over to her.
"No you will pair up with Rachel and you will be respectful to her," he says slowly, which I know means he is dangerous right now, but the stupid girl doesn't seem to notice it.
" Me respectful to that slut? Since when do I have to be? Debbie scoffed as Gabriel was about to shift, confusing everyone. He takes a few deep breaths and sheaths his claws.
" Go Debbie". Gabriel says and she looks at him confused.
" Go where?" she asked.
To the pack house. You are on kitchen duty from the moment on to the rest of this week. Debbie squeaks in indignation and everyone's mouth gape.
" What Gabriel? you are giving me kitchen duty over something I said about that slut?" Debbie pits out and Gabriel reaches out to grab her around her neck.
"That's funny Debbie, you have the face to call her a slut, how many men have you slept with in the last few months? Gabriel asked and Debbie scoffed back at him.
"Including you?" She asked sweetly and Gabriel snarled before stealing a glance at me, confirming what she said was true. I suddenly felt sick in my stomach, I couldn't digest the fact that my mate slept with the pack slut.
"I'm increasing it to two weeks of kitchen duty. Any more complaints, then you are one step away from getting banished away from this pack, watch yourself Gabriel says before shoving Debbie towards the pack house. Debbie scrambled to her feet and glared at Gabriel, causing a shock wave around the pack members present. Such a big display of disrespect in the presence of the pack members towards the future alpha of the pack is something that has never happened and she has to bear the consequences of her action.
"I'm the strongest among the she-wolf of this pack and you are going to reduce me to kitchen staff or banish me from this pic because I said something about a useless piece of trash like Rachel?" fuck you Gabriel" she spilled out loudly. Gabriel didn't say anything for a moment, he walked up to her slowly, like a predator watching its prey. The fire in her eyes falters. She wasn't expecting that kind of reaction from him, when he speaks it was low and dangerous, but loud enough for everyone to hear him.
