I was looking at Princeton, my betrothed—the Duke of Vampires. The man who I was supposed to marry, but I ran away. My heart was pounding in my chest. What was he doing here? He wore a black coat off his meticulous black costume.
" Duke Princeton," I said, regaining back my composure. He was just as I remembered. He was slim with sharp features and dark hair. He glinted mischieve in his eyes. It was still the same. He eyed me, and a slight smile played on his lips.
" Who knew you'd be here," he sighed. His gaze made me uneasy.
" How did you find me?" I asked slowly.
" Doesn't matter. I spent decades searching for you," he said.
" You shouldn't have. I ran away," I informed him. Wasn't I clear in the letter of apology I sent him before leaving?
" That's understandable, wedding jitters. It can stress anyone," he smiled politely at me. Was he fucking dumb?
" It's not wedding jitters. I didn't want to marry you because I'm not in love," I told him firmly. He seemed stunned. He raised an eyebrow.
" Oh, well, it doesn't matter now. I'm here,"
Oh my. This man will be a problem.
" Are you fucking stupid? Can you comprehend what I'm saying?" I exclaimed. I was getting frustrated with him.
" I don't love you. I have a mate, and I'm marked," I said.
His sly gaze goes on my neck, and his face contorts to one of disgust.
" So, it's true—a lycan. Princess Elizabeth, what a disgrace, but don't worry. I'm here to fix all that now."
" There's nothing to mix. I'm happy and in a relationship. I don't want to have anything to do with you, so goodbye," I bolted, but he quickly caught me and pressed me against the white hall. His face was close to mine, and I shrugged, wanting him off me.
" I was only to inform you to end your relationship. I'm giving you three days. If not," he left his threat hanging in the air. I had never seen Princetop lose his cool. He is always so immicable and composed. He pulls from me after kissing my forehead. I shivered.
He waves, and just like that. He's gone.
My heart was pounding in my chest. I hastily searched for my phone in my pocket. I texted Harry, telling him Princeton had found me.
He insisted on seeing me, but I couldn't see anyone now. I just wanted my mate to hold me. I feel so shaken up.
I ran home, and in seven minutes, I arrived.
" Tonga, where's Aerys?" I asked as I passed through the game area. They were playing games.
" He's in his study," she says, asking with her eyes if I was right. I nodded and went upstairs to the study. I pushed the door open. He was in a Zoom meeting. His eyes glanced at me, and immediately, he knew something was wrong.
" We'll continue this later. I have to call,"
" But, sir-" Aerys closed his laptop and approached me. He caressed my face, and sparks rushed through my skin.
" Elizabeth, are you alright? You look pale... Well, more than usual," he said. I wrapped my arms around him. He tensed but held me.
" Baby, what's wrong,"
" I just want you to hold me and be with me," I cried.
" Of course," he breathed in my scent. Aerys carried me in his arms and took me to our room. He gently placed me on the bed and crouched so we were at eye level.
" Do you want to talk about what happened?" he asked.
" Nothing happened, baby. I was just emotional," I told him. It wasn't a lie. I was emotional and scared after seeing Princeton.
" Can we go away for a vacation, just the two of us?" I asked. He furrowed his eyebrows.
" Sure, when? Where do you want to go?"
" Tomorrow evening, please, babe. Please," I begged. I wanted to get away from everything. I planned to tell him the truth after his birthday, but I would have to speed it up now. I couldn't have learned the truth from someone else. He'd think I had malicious intent on his pack and family.
" Okay," he said. I smiled brightly at him and kissed him. He kissed me back.
We got to our feet, and our clothes scattered on the floor individually. I crawled on the bed after we were both naked, and he hovered over me. I cried with pleasure when his large dick entered my wet pussy.
He placed a sensual kiss on my mark that made me shiver in delight.
He began to thrust in and out of me. I gripped his arms and rolled my hips against him.
" Hmm, Aerys," I moaned.
" Yes,"
His grunts, mixed with his moans, turned me on. I spread my legs wider as he pounded into me.
" Yes,"
" Baby, you're so tight," he whispered. I reached up to kiss his lips. He continued his assault while his lips trailed on my skin. We had been at it for hours, and when we both cum for the fifth time, I collapsed on the bed. We are covered in sweat, smiling at each other. He leaves a few more kisses on my body and pulls me into his arms. We do nothing but cuddle. I fell asleep in the comforting arms of my mate. I woke up early in the morning after I heard noises outside—the sound of panting, growling, and chuckling. Aerys wasn't in bed. I wore my shorts and sweater before going out in the driveway.
" Where are they?" I asked myself. They must have been far away when I heard them—damn good hearing.
Soon, they appear from the forest, all wearing training clothes. Unfortunately, Liace was one of them, walking between Aerys and Coswell. She sneered something when she saw me, and Aerys growled at her. My mate smiled at me and kissed me. He was hot, without a shirt, and glistened in sweat.
" How was your training?" I asked.
" It was good. How was your rest?"
" Wonderful," I exhaled. I felt terrific indeed. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and kissed him.
" Argh, gosh. She's going to be one of those baby-making Lunas, I see," Liace sneered. I smiled at her.
" I actually, I don't mind. I love being a conventional wife. That's okay, too," I said.
" A liability to the alpha. You'll be our downfall."
" I can fight a little, actually," I told her. I was leaving Aery's side. I was getting tired of her snarky comments and rolling of her eyes now. Bitch needed to be beaten by a ' human,'
" Really," she smirked, looking me up and down. I nodded with a gentle smile on my lips.
" Um, I'm hungry," Alec said. He was trying to defuse the tension. Everyone had come to watch. Aerys stood by my side.
" Well, how about you showing me what you can do," she said.
" No, she's not," Aerys growled at her.
" No, babe, it's alright. We are just showing each other moves," I said with an assuring smile. Aerys was uneasy now. Liace was smiling as though she had won something.
I gently pushed Aerys from me, leaving enough room for Liace and me. My gaze went to Tonga. She was biting her nails, worried about me.
" You don't have to do this, Elizabeth," Coswell said.
" No, she has to. Don't worry, Cos," Coen said. All this amused him. I winked at him, and he sent me a thumbs-up.
" I'm a little fast, though," I warned. Liace scoffed, she was underestimating me, and I'd use it to my advantage.
" No shifting!"
Aerys was anxious, too. I signaled to him, it's alright. Be calm. I hope he understood sign language. To my amazement, he signaled me to be careful and fast on my feet. That seemed to piss Liace off as she jumped on me. I moved smoothly. She threw punches, which I easily dodged. She sighed, letting out a frustrated growl. I kicked her in her stomach and left face and punched her face before she could even blink. I heard gasps around us.
" Your nose is licking," I mocked.
" Bitch,"
She charged at me angrily, her claws extended. I ducked as she tried to slash me. I grabbed her neck and tossed her to the ground. I hovered over her and smacked her across her stupid, pretty face twice. Liace tried to free herself as she thrashed, but I pinned her down.
" Well, this liability did well against a lycan, huh," I said with a smile close to her face. She was pissed, heaving. I got off her and beamed at everyone. They clapped, all impressed by my fighting skills. I heard the bones cracking and knew she was about to shift. I turned swiftly towards her. I choked her before she could move.
" Do you want to die, Lycan?" I whispered, my eyes glowing. Liace gasped, eyes blinking. I pushed her back on the ground with more strength than I intended. Fuck. I needed to watch myself.
" S- she's not human. Did you see that?" she stuttered. I looked at her with pity and shook my head,
" Don't be such a sole loser, Liace," Tonga shouted.
My mate carried me in his arms and kissed me. He put me down.
" You did well, my love," he was impressed. Everyone was cheering for me. I curtsey. We all went inside, leaving Liace on the ground, screaming.
