CEO's Genius Triplets

Murder

Ch. 146 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Rex was completely defenseless.

Suzy fiercely stabbed the fruit knife into his body.

The room immediately filled with screams.

The smell of blood permeated the air.

Rex sat on the ground, looking at Suzy in disbelief, a large pool of blood forming beneath him.

"You, you..."

Suzy's eyes widened, her pupils almost popping out of their sockets as she looked down at Rex from above, a few drops of blood splattered on her face, making her look fierce and terrifying.

"You scum, you ruined me four years ago, and now you want to come back and destroy me again. I've finally climbed up to Ethan, I've worked so hard to get to where I am today, I absolutely can't let it all be ruined by you."

Rex suddenly understood. His eyes widened abruptly.

"So, you sent those two killers last night?"

Suzy neither denied nor confirmed. Her expression undoubtedly told Rex the answer.

"Why didn't you die four years ago? Why did you come back? You and that illegitimate child should have died four years ago. Do you know how disgusting you are to me? Every time you touch me, I feel like vomiting... Look at you, you're nothing compared to Ethan, not even a single hair of his. I must have been cursed to meet someone like you..."

She grew more and more agitated as she spoke.

Rex, forgetting about his own injuries, got up from the ground and rushed towards Suzy, viciously grabbing her neck.

"You bitch, I'll kill you today..."

Despite his injuries, he was incredibly strong.

Suzy, being choked, couldn't breathe.

She trembled in fear.

She was enveloped in the terror of death.

Without hesitation, she clenched the knife in her hand and repeatedly stabbed at Rex's abdomen.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

With her eyes closed, she didn't know how many times she stabbed.

Rex's grip on her neck gradually loosened.

With wide eyes, filled with disbelief, he collapsed to the ground.

Suzy gasped for breath.

After making sure Rex was no longer moving, she crouched down, checked his breathing.

Finally, there was no breath.

Finally, he was dead.

Suzy calmly went to the bathroom to wash off the blood from her body and the fruit knife. Then she picked up her clothes from the floor, got dressed, tidied up her appearance, found the room key and put it in her bag. Then, as if nothing had happened, she left the room.

To prevent Rex from being discovered, she deliberately locked the door when she left.

As she left, she discreetly checked around.

There were no surveillance cameras.

Sarah, who had been waiting outside the door, saw her finally emerge. She asked eagerly, "How did it go?"

Suzy replied calmly, "Very smoothly! He didn't suspect a thing!"

Hearing this, Sarah breathed a sigh of relief.

Suzy leaned back in the chair, exhausted. "Mom, drive. I'm tired and want to leave here as soon as possible..."

Sarah didn't doubt her, nodded, and drove away.

The two returned to Suzy's house. Suzy took a shower, changed into a new set of clothes, and then quietly drove away with Sarah.

An hour later, her car appeared near the Sky Group.

A woman in professional attire got into the car, wearing gloves, and handed Suzy a transparent bag containing a pen and some hair.

"These are Samantha's pen and button..."

Suzy took the transparent bag satisfactorily and said, "Using bank transfers will be noticed. I'll use the old method to pay you."

The woman nodded and asked curiously, "Miss Miller, what do you need the pen and hair of our designer for?"

Suzy gave her a fierce glance and said coldly, "What you shouldn't ask, you shouldn't ask! Remember, we never met today."

The woman dared not ask any further and got out of the car.

After the woman left, Suzy drove back to the inn.

Once back at the inn, she placed Samantha's pen next to Rex's body and the hair on the bed, then cleaned up her own hair.

After everything was done, she returned the room key to its original place and left again.

Just like before, she locked the door behind her when she left.

Suzy calmly returned to her car, started the engine, and as she approached the entrance of the Sky Group, she called Samantha.

The call was quickly answered.

"Hello, who is this?"

"Haven't seen each other for a few days, and you don't even recognize your little sister?"

Samantha was startled and put down her work, displeased. "Suzy Miller? Why are you calling me?"

Suzy giggled, "What are you talking about? Do I have to have something important to call you? Can't sisters chat?"

Samantha impatiently said, "I don't have time for small talk with you. If there's nothing else, I'm hanging up!"

Suzy said, "Let's meet up and chat about Alexander and Noah!"

Samantha was hesitant for a moment but eventually agreed.

"I'm outside your company now. Just come down! I'll wait for you!"

Samantha didn't doubt her, hung up the phone, and grabbed her bag to go downstairs.

Sure enough.

Suzy's car was parked on the street outside the company's entrance.

She opened the passenger door and got in.

Suzy started the car.

Samantha didn't bother with small talk and went straight to the point, asking, "What do you want to tell me? What happened to Alexander and Noah? Did something happen?"

Suzy smiled faintly. "Don't worry. It's not safe to talk while driving. I'll tell you when we reach our destination."

Samantha thought her reasoning made sense and didn't bother her further.

The car drove for about half an hour.

Samantha noticed that the car was getting more remote, and there were fewer people around.

She immediately became alert and asked cautiously, "Where are you taking me?"

Suzy smiled, "Don't worry, I won't do anything to you! With so many people seeing you get into my car, and with surveillance at your company's entrance, if I wanted to harm you, I wouldn't use such a foolish method."

After thinking for a moment, Samantha found her reasoning sound and didn't ask further.

But she remained highly vigilant.

She held her phone, ready to call the police if anything seemed amiss.

The car arrived at a riverside in the suburbs.

Just as Suzy had said.

She hadn't done anything. After parking the car by the river, she said, "I know Ethan's announcement of our marriage was meant to provoke you, not because he genuinely likes me."

Samantha impatiently said, "Whether he genuinely likes you or not, what does it have to do with me?"

Suzy turned to look at her. "But, I really like him! I've never liked a man this much in my life. I can't live without him."

Samantha rolled her eyes sharply, "If I remember correctly, five years ago, you said the same thing to me. And the man you were lucky enough to like was Rex."

At that time, she had sensed that Rex was not a good person.

She had earnestly advised Suzy not to be with him.

But Suzy didn't listen.

She got together with Rex while still underage and even got pregnant with his child.

At that time, Suzy had said the same thing to her.

Saying she liked Rex and couldn't live without him.

Now, she was saying the same thing again, only the object had changed to Ethan.

Suzy explained, "Back then, I was young and ignorant, mistaking liking for love! It's different with Ethan. I love him."

Samantha felt extremely annoyed and didn't want to listen to her continue. Impatiently, she said, "What do you want to say? If you just want to tell me how much you love Ethan, then sorry, I don't have time for this."

She always felt something was off about Suzy. She had brought her all the way here just to tell her how much she loved Ethan? Either she was full and bored, or she had some other scheme?

Suzy said calmly, "I know Alexander and Noah like you and are eager for you to be their mommy. So, I hope you stay away from them. If you keep hanging around them, they won't accept me as their biological mother. I don't want you to ruin the happiness of our family."

Samantha sneered, "If you were a responsible mother, why wouldn't they like you? You should ask yourself if you're qualified to be their mother."

"It's none of your business whether I'm qualified or not, as long as you stay out of it!"

"You can rest assured, I'm self-aware. I'll keep my distance from them! Similarly, while you're talking about me, I hope you can reflect on yourself."

With that said, not wanting to waste any more time with her, Samantha said, "I'm going back to the company! Also, I hope you don't bother me again in the future!"

Suzy smiled, about to start the car and leave.

But no matter how hard she tried, the car wouldn't start, and thick smoke billowed from under the hood.

She pretended to be shocked, "Oh no, my car is broken..."

Samantha frowned tightly. She wished she could slap Suzy to death.

If she had known Suzy had brought her all the way here just to say these meaningless words, she wouldn't have come.

What a waste of her time.

And now the car was broken.

How unlucky.
