CEO's Genius Triplets

Samara or Samantha?

Ch. 166 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

“Huhh...”

The phantom car screeched to a halt by the side of the road.

Due to the sudden stop, Samantha's body leaned forward with inertia, and her forehead slammed hard into the front seat, causing her to groan in pain.

"Ugh..."

Before she could react, Albert had swiftly opened the back door, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her out.

"I finally found you."

Samantha was momentarily stunned by his sudden actions.

"What are you talking about?"

Albert looked at her excitedly, his eyes slightly reddened.

Suddenly, he forcefully pulled her into his embrace, his large body trembling slightly.

"Samara, I finally found you. Do you know? I've been looking for you for twenty years."

Being suddenly embraced by a stranger, Samantha immediately became guarded. She pushed him away and took a few steps back, watching him warily.

"You've got the wrong person. I'm not your Samara. My name is Samantha, the eldest daughter of the Miller family."

Albert didn't listen at all, stepping closer to her.

"You are Samara. Twenty years ago, you mysteriously disappeared from the orphanage. Do you know that I've been searching for you like a madman all these twenty years?"

The last time they met, he had felt that she was very familiar. He had even suspected that she was Samara. He had even had someone investigate her, but the results had disappointed him.

After all the twists and turns, he hadn't expected her to be the person he had been looking for all these twenty years.

Although he didn't know what had happened during this time, why the people he had investigated hadn't found anything, he was sure that she was the Samara he had been looking for for twenty years.

Samantha furrowed her brows. "I was born in the Miller family and grew up there. I've never been to any orphanage. You've got the wrong person."

Albert was unwilling to give up and asked, "Have you lost your memory?"

Samantha was speechless.

"Mr. Davis, do you think this is a TV drama? Memory loss? I haven't lost my memory. I'm perfectly fine."

With that, she didn't dare to get back in the car. She took out her phone, prepared to call a ride-hailing service as she walked away.

Albert had finally found her, how could he easily let her go? He caught up with her in quick steps, once again gripping her wrist and turning her around. His large hand reached towards her neckline.

"I won't mistake you for someone else. Samara has a small red birthmark above her collarbone…"

Samantha's face paled in shock, and she immediately covered her neckline with her hand.

"What are you trying to do? Be careful, I'll sue you for harassment."

Albert suddenly realized that he had lost control of himself. His hand froze in mid-air, filled with remorse as he said, "I'm sorry, I lost my composure!"

Samantha impatiently shook off his hand and said sternly, "Whether you believe it or not, I can assure you that I'm not Samara, nor the person you're looking for. My name is Samantha Miller, my father is Lloyd Miller, and my mother is Mariana Lopez. I grew up in the Miller family and have never been to an orphanage. I understand your urgency, but please calm down and don't randomly recognize someone."

Pausing for a moment, she continued, "I'm sorry, I won't be taking your car for now. I'll find my own way back."

With that said, she didn't even look at him and decisively turned to leave.

Albert watched her back, feeling more and more familiar with her. Unconsciously, her figure overlapped with the memory of the little girl in his mind.

Although the figures were different in size, this familiar feeling couldn't deceive him.

She was Samara, The girl he had missed day and night. Regardless of why she refused to admit it, he wouldn't let her leave him again.

With this in mind, he quickly caught up with her, ignoring Samantha's wishes, and pulled her towards the phantom.

"It's far from the city here. It'll take you a long time to walk back, and a ride-hailing car won't arrive anytime soon. What if something happens on the way? Let me take you back."

Samantha struggled hard to break free from his grasp.

Albert promised, "Don't worry, I won't disturb you anymore!"

Samantha looked at him suspiciously, clearly not believing what he said.

Albert solemnly assured her, "I, Albert, always keep my promises. I don't lie, nor do I stoop to lying."

Hearing his words, Samantha finally believed him and stopped struggling.

On the way back, Albert kept his promise and didn't bother her anymore.

There was silence all the way.

During the journey, Albert's gaze occasionally shifted to her collarbone in the rearview mirror.

There was a small red birthmark visible outside her clothes.

Although it wasn't completely exposed, he was a hundred percent sure that he hadn't mistaken it from the color, shape, and position.

...

Albert dropped Samantha off at the company entrance.

"Thank you!"

Samantha coldly thanked him, opened the car door, and got out.

Before leaving, she leaned down to Albert and said, "Mr. Davis, now that the matter of framing me has been resolved, I think we don't need to contact each other anymore. As for Suzy, the mastermind, how you deal with her and seek revenge is your business, it has nothing to do with me, and you don't need to inform me! Goodbye!"

With that, she walked away without looking back.

Albert is about to marry Ellena. She could tell that Ellena really liked Albert.

An engaged person should maintain a basic distance from friends' fiancés, especially since he is about to become the son-in-law of the Steele family and another member of the Steele family.

She didn't want to have any connection with the Steele family, especially not with their men.

Albert didn't say anything, squinting his eyes, watching her figure disappear at the company entrance. The corners of his lips curled up slightly, a smile that was neither warm nor genuine, and his eyes flashed with a sense of determination.

In no time, he took out his phone and called his subordinate.

"I want all the information on Justin Alexander Fletcher."

"Yes, all of it, from childhood to now."

When investigating Samantha, he found out that Samantha had an upcoming marriage with Justin, the general manager of the Fletcher Group.

Now that he knew Samantha was the Samara he had been searching for, he couldn't allow them to get married.

By whatever means necessary, he had to break them up.

And there was also Ethan.

It seemed like he also had feelings for Samantha.

It looked like he couldn't deal with Suzy for the time being.

He had to use Suzy to hinder Ethan first.

He didn't want to have such a strong opponent as Ethan.

...

The Fletcher Family.

Mr and Mrs. Fletcher looked at the evidence in their hands, their hands trembling with anger.

Their faces were contorted in extreme disgust, utterly ugly.

Karen cried so much that her eyes were swollen, tears and snot streaming down her face as she said, "Uncle, Aunt, you have to help me! The child in my belly really belongs to Justin. He actually killed his own child just to marry Samantha. He's really too terrible."

Mrs. Fletcher's face was full of despair. She couldn't believe that her son would be such a ruthless person. To actually kill his own child with his own hands.

But in the face of the evidence, she had no way to argue.

Seeing them remain silent, Karen continued, "I haven't been sick recently, I haven't fallen down, and I haven't taken any medication, but the doctor found blood-activating and stasis-removing medicine in my blood! Even if I'm stupid, I know that you can't take medication casually when you're pregnant! Poor my child, he was only a month old when this happened..."

After speaking, she lowered her head and cried sorrowfully again.
