Alpha King's Pregnant Ex-Luna

Chapter 678

Ch. 678 / 795 Feb 15, 2026

Thalia had nearly caused chaos in the hospital as she searched frantically. However, her urgency subsided when she spotted a figure sitting on the ground nearby. She approached him cautiously, her pace slowing down.

Magus sat with his head down, appearing defeated and wounded. The malicious aura that had once surrounded him was gone, as was his arrogant demeanor that made him seem invincible.

Thalia walked up to him and asked, "Why are you hiding here all by yourself?" Magus was taken aback but didn't raise his head.

"I'm talking to you!" Thalia nudged him gently with her foot, but he still kept his head down.

Noticing his silence, Thalia took a deep breath and decided to get closer. However, she paused when she saw the injuries on his face.

"What happened to your face?" she asked, about to reach out and inspect the wounds. But Magus turned his face away before she could.

Thalia cursed under her breath, her fiery temper surfacing. She grabbed his collar forcefully and questioned, "Did he cause these injuries? Did you see him?"

Magus slowly raised his eyes, meeting Thalia's gaze with a frivolous and mocking tone. "So what if I did?"

"Where is he?" Thalia demanded, determined to take down the person responsible. Magus looked straight at her with a cold smile. "This matter has nothing to do with me. I won't bother anymore."

Thalia turned around and started to walk away, but she couldn't shake off her irritation. She looked back at Magus and said, sarcasm dripping from her voice, "Magus, didn't you say you hate him? I thought you wanted to kill him with your own hands. Why didn't you finish him off? I would have respected you more if you had been more decisive."

Magus remained silent, his eyes fixed on her. Thalia continued, her voice cold and sharp, "What's the point of staring at me like this? I will definitely kill him even if you won't."

Thalia turned to leave again, but Magus finally spoke after a moment, his voice soft, "Can you... take Lina away? I've heard that your group has the power to save her."

Thalia turned back, her eyes fixed on Magus, and a smile formed on her lips. "Did that person threaten you? Is that why you want us to leave?" she asked.

"No!" Magus responded quickly. "I just want to ensure Lina's safety. As for the best way to handle the situation... I'm not sure."

Tony, who had been silently observing, understood Magus' pain. He had been searching for his enemy for years and couldn't give up easily now that they had resurfaced. But he also understood why Magus wanted to protect Lina and couldn't risk everything.

Tony approached Magus and asked, "Have you made up your mind? Do you want revenge and give up on Lina?"

Magus was taken aback and replied, "I'm not trying to give up on her..."

Tony narrowed his eyes and said, "Isn't your current plan to abandon her for the sake of revenge?"

Magus clenched his fists, filled with hatred for his enemy. "Am I supposed to do nothing and give up? He killed my child and caused Lina to suffer. I must kill him to honor my child, Lina, and myself!"

Tony remained calm and composed, saying, "You know what I would do if I were in your shoes?"

Magus narrowed his eyes, curious about Tony's perspective.

Tony kneeled in front of Magus, his gaze unwavering. "Like everyone else, I would want to kill my enemy with my own hands. But I would also make sure to protect everything I have. Killing your enemy shouldn't mean losing everything else you hold dear."

Magus stared at Tony, contemplating his words. Tony continued, "If it were me, I would find a way to both seek revenge and protect what I love. And you know what? We have the ability to help you. Even if you're using us, we can assist you in achieving both your goals."

Magus's lips curled into a mocking smile. "In this world, not everything goes as planned. Not everyone is born with everything they want."

Tony's expression hardened as he responded, "Who told you I was born with everything? What I have now is the result of my own efforts. I've made mistakes too, but I always correct them. I won't let one wrong choice cost me everything. And that's why I have what I have now."

Magus stared at him, considering his words. Thalia observed their interaction with growing concern and frustration. She approached them, raising her eyebrows slightly.

"I'll wait for your call," she said before walking away, leaving Magus to make his decision.
