Alpha King's Pregnant Ex-Luna

Chapter 684

Ch. 684 / 795 Feb 15, 2026

Magus was reluctant, but he had no choice but to believe Tony at this moment. Tony was right, any choice he made could lead him down the same path as before. Lena couldn't accept that, so his only option now was to trust them.

After a while, Magus finally nodded and said, "Alright, let's do it as you said."

Tony was somewhat surprised to see Magus agree, but he hid his emotions well. Without any change in expression, he tilted his head to signal Magus. "In that case, let's not waste time and energy. Eat something first, then we can take action right away."

"I'm not hungry," Magus refused.

Tony glanced at him and said, "Whether you're hungry or not, you have to eat. Otherwise, you'll be at a disadvantage in terms of strength. I shouldn't have to tell you this, right?"

Magus looked at the items on the table, picked them up, and said, "I'll eat these on the way. I'll go leave a signal for him first. The sooner I get in touch with him, the less danger Lena will be in!"

Before anyone else could say anything, Magus turned around and left. Thalia asked, "What about your workshop?"

Magus walked away without looking back.

Ben stretched lazily and walked over, saying, "For him, it's his craftsmanship that's impressive, not this workshop!"

Tony turned his head and looked at Ben. "You know everything?"

"Of course, we are both talented people!" answered Ben with a smile.

Tony rolled his eyes at Ben and said, "Let's go back first and make a good plan."

The group nodded and prepared to head back. In the car, Miguel handed out breakfast to everyone and started driving.

On the road, Tony kept his computer on and seemed busy with something. Thalia asked, "Tony, how confident are you about..."

Tony raised his head and looked at Thalia, who was sitting in the front passenger seat. Without saying a word, Thalia understood what he meant. "Don't worry, I haven't met my match either."

"But what about my competition at the hospital?" Thalia asked.

Tony smiled and said, "That was different, like Alpha Kilian's, I wasn't..."

Thalia interrupted him and asked, "So, how do you know Magus won't do the same?"

Tony remained confident. "Of course, I believe in myself. Magus sees my skills and thinks highly of me. Plus, I let him eat because it's good for him. He's not stupid. This just proves that I'm..."

Thalia and the others weren't convinced. They wanted Tony to explain himself. “Why aren't you talking?” Thalia asked.

Donna crossed her arms and said, "Yeah, Tony, why don't you tell us?"

Ben added, "You've upset two girls. If you don't explain yourself, I'm afraid you won't get through this."

Tony refused to admit anything. "You should ask Magus about this. How would I know?"

Thalia insisted on making Tony confess. "Just explain it!"

Tony finally gave in. "Alright! Fine! I'll tell you! Okay?"

Thalia sat back down, her gaze fixed on Tony. She opened her mouth to speak but thought for a moment. "Let me organize my thoughts. So, you said that Magus treated us differently because he thinks highly of you?"

Tony nodded. "That's right. We offered to help him, and he gave us food and chatted with me. He thinks I'm smart and skilled, so he treats me differently."

Thalia and Donna exchanged glances. Donna shook her head and said, "I think he lacks sincerity."

Thalia raised an eyebrow. "If we're in the same situation, how do you know Magus wouldn't do the same?"

Tony remained confident. "I believe that's how he thinks. He sees me as the 'boss', so no matter what we do, he thinks highly of us."

Thalia and Donna still had doubts, but Tony refused to back down. "You're overthinking it. Magus and I have a good understanding. Trust me."

Tony's words didn't fully convince Thalia and Donna, but they let the matter rest for now.
