In the car, Miguel slept peacefully as he emitted snores. Thalia's eyes anxiously scanned the surroundings, but she couldn't spot Ben and Donna anywhere. Worried, she checked the time on her wrist and made the decision to step out of the car.
Meanwhile, Tony was engrossed in his phone when he heard the sound of the door opening. "No need. They're already out," he stated. Thalia's gaze darted across the area, finally finding Ben and Donna emerging from inside. A sigh of relief escaped her once she laid eyes on them.
As the two of them entered the car, Tony tidied up the seats. Thalia turned to face them and expressed her concern. "If you hadn't come out, I would've gone inside to look for you." Donna, appearing exhausted, slumped against the backseat.
Curious, Thalia questioned, "What happened?"
"Donna will explain," Ben replied, understanding Donna's laziness. After a lengthy conversation with Magus, she felt drained of energy.
Ben shifted his attention to Thalia and said, "We encountered some minor issues later on."
Curiosity piqued, Tony interrupted, "What were you guys discussing with Magus in the corridor?"
Ben glanced at him, realizing Tony must have hacked into the hospital's surveillance system. "Magus is here?" Thalia exclaimed.
Confirming her suspicion, Ben nodded. "Yes. We were speaking with Lina when Magus arrived, and he nearly kicked us out!"
Thalia frowned at Magus' audacity. She turned to Tony, asking, "How did you know Magus was here?"
Tony retorted, "What else would I be looking at on my phone?" Thalia scolded, "If you already knew, why didn't you tell me?"
"Uh, I was so focused on watching that I forgot," Tony muttered, admitting his negligence.
Thalia accused, "You did it on purpose!" Donna lazily raised an eyebrow, implying a potential conflict between the two.
"He knows his place," Donna added, causing Thalia to sigh.
Surprised by Donna's statement, Thalia glanced at Tony's phone. Ben also took a look, narrowing his eyes as he recognized the person on the screen. Memories of their encounter at the hospital flooded Ben's mind. He distinctly remembered Donna apologizing to that person and the complex emotions they exchanged. Disgust filled him at the time, leaving a lasting impression of the person. "I think it's him," Ben declared.
Donna fervently agreed, feeling a sense of familiarity upon seeing the photo. However, she was too stunned to react to his sudden appearance.
Listening to their conversation, Tony's expression grew serious. He looked at them both and asked uncertainly, "So, you're saying you met this person at the hospital just now?"
Ben earnestly nodded, affirming their encounter. "That's right. He nearly collided with Donna in the hospital corridor. Despite some aging, his face was still unmistakable."
Tony murmured, "It's been a few years since Magus was betrayed, so it's natural for him to have aged..." Suddenly, a thought struck him, and he turned to Thalia. "Thalia."
Before Tony could finish his sentence, Thalia abruptly made a U-turn, startling Miguel from his sleep. Confused, he looked outside and at Thalia, questioning her actions.
"Just stay put and be quiet," Thalia commanded, making another sharp turn and retracing their path.
With an unspoken understanding, Thalia knew exactly what Tony wanted to convey. Ben finally grasped their intentions, directing his gaze at Tony. "Tony, what's your plan?"
Tony responded, deferring the question to Thalia. After all, she was the one executing their plan, and they relied on her for guidance.
Fixated on the road ahead, Thalia's eyes flashed with determination. A cold smile formed on her lips as she replied, "I haven't decided yet, but it will be the last thing he wants."
Satisfied with Thalia's response, Tony nodded. "Thalia is becoming quite the devil!"
Ignoring their conversation, Donna interjected, "What are you guys planning to do about Donna?" She made it apparent that she would tag along.
Concerned about her safety, Thalia looked back at Donna and said, "You should stay behind." However, Donna insisted on joining them, expressing her worries for the situation.
Understanding Donna's determination, Ben added, "She's not as delicate as you think!"
Thalia sighed, realizing they wouldn't be able to dissuade Donna. Without further delay, she continued driving towards their destination.
After a while, Thalia spotted Lina outside the hospital. When Lina noticed their arrival, she looked directly at Donna and questioned, "Didn't you guys leave already? Why are you back?"
Donna smiled and shook her head, confused about the situation. "No. We ran into someone..."
Thalia nodded and clarified, "Yes!" Lina expressed her gratitude, to which Donna stumbled on her words, not knowing how to respond. Cutting the tension, Thalia proceeded, "No time to waste. We need to see him." Without awaiting Lina's reply, she abruptly left for their destination.
Observing their grim expressions, Lina furrowed her brows and glanced at Tony. In response, he shook his head, indicating that they shouldn't reveal any further information to her.
Curious, Lina inquired, "Really?"
