Diana had definitely become more patient with Brandon lately. And Brandon didn’t seem as full of himself as before. Was he really willing to change his playboy ways for Diana?

Bianca hoped so. She quietly wished for something good to happen between them.

“You heard her, Diana,” Brandon said quickly. “Besides, whatever you spend on me will be reimbursed by your company. So why does it seem like you’d rather set the world on fire than have a meal with me?”

“Unwilling? Are you saying I’m scared of you?” Diana scoffed. “Stop talking nonsense. Let’s go. And make sure you eat a lot tonight. I hope you choke on it!”

Their banter sounded more like flirting than a real argument. No professional would talk to a client like that. But Diana had always been the type to say whatever was on her mind, and today was no different.

Instead of getting annoyed, Brandon laughed and said, “Then you’d better work harder after this, because I’m going to make sure you spend every last cent in your wallet!”

Bianca just smiled and shook her head as she watched them walk away.

Meanwhile, Dave was already on his way to pick her up. He was driving his sports car that day.

When he arrived, Bianca opened the door and got into the passenger seat.

“I see you’re in the mood to drive your sports car today,” she said curiously. “Why didn’t you let your driver take us instead?”

“I wanted to make this one special. Think of it as a private ride just for you. Wait, no, make it extra special because I’m your driver today,” Dave joked.

The night breeze brushed gently as they drove through Edenfield. The city lights and peaceful streets caught Bianca’s attention as they passed by.

After a long drive, Dave stopped at a beautiful beach that stretched for miles. The view was stunning. There weren’t many people around, which made the place feel even more peaceful.

What happened at Emerald Artists Agency wasn’t Dave’s doing. He had no idea about any of it until that afternoon, when he asked Wyatt to investigate.

“Apparently, what happened at your company today is because of Phoenix Alliance Group,” Dave said as he looked at Bianca. “Your fifty-billion investment in Phoenix Alliance Group was reported in the news. And people also found out that you’re a shareholder in my company. That’s why everyone wanted to do business with your agency.”

It was only Monday, yet Phoenix Alliance Group’s stock price had already hit a new high. People were going crazy, knowing they were about to make a lot of money.

Tomorrow, Phoenix Entertainment was expected to announce that the S-level contract meant for Blake would be cancelled. Instead, it would be given to Reese.

Anyone familiar with the entertainment industry understood what an S-level contract from Phoenix Entertainment meant. If Reese signed it instead of Blake, her entire career would change. That contract would launch her as an A-list star in Edenfield.

News like this wasn’t usually made public easily. But in the entertainment industry, people talked, and sooner or later, it would leak.

“We all know Blake already ended his contract with you. But your advantage now is your company winning the Star Search championship. This artist you're training is impressive,” Dave said. “Even Justin is optimistic about working with you.”

It all made sense now. Bianca pieced everything together and finally understood what had happened earlier that day. She also suspected that Dave might have leaked the news on purpose.

It made sense for him to tell her about it directly. If the sudden chaos at her company hadn’t happened, she would’ve been the first to know.

After talking, they both fell silent and just enjoyed the moment. Sitting together on the beach, Dave wrapped his arms around her, and they shared each other’s warmth as they watched the sunset.

Bianca couldn’t get enough of his embrace. She leaned on his shoulder and rested her head against him.

After a while, the breeze from the sea gently blew her hair. What had started as a long, exhausting day now felt relaxing and peaceful. As long as they had each other, everything else could wait.

He held Bianca’s hand tighter, as if trying to gather courage. His eyes softened as he looked at her. After a short pause, he said, “Universal Pictures, the biggest film company in the world will soon announce that they’re looking for a well-known artist agency here in Edenfield. I think it’s for a partnership to help prepare for their next blockbuster.”

Universal Pictures had been around since the last century. It was one of the strongest companies in the industry. They had made countless films that became famous around the world.

Some of the famous films they produced were “The Bourne Identity,” “Jaws,” “Jurassic Museum,” and the “Fast & Best” series.

Of course, these films wouldn’t have become so popular without the actors who starred in them. Their success turned many of those actors into A-list stars.

For an artist agency, being linked to Universal Pictures could change everything. It wouldn’t be impossible for that agency to become world-class.

“Really? Is that true? Wow!” Bianca’s eyes lit up with joy. She felt like her heart skipped a beat. She couldn’t believe all of this was happening in just one day. Hearing this news was even more exciting than everything else she had heard earlier.

The agency that Universal Pictures would choose had to be the most famous and respected in Edenfield. Working with Universal Pictures was already a big deal. But just being connected to them would instantly make that agency even more popular.

If this happened, the company wouldn’t just be known in Edenfield anymore. It would mean worldwide recognition.

Just thinking about this once-in-a-lifetime chance made Bianca’s heart race. Emerald Artists Agency had to grab this opportunity. This was their chance to go international.
