At Bryce's apartment, Bryce knew he had to find Zora an apartment. It was just two bedrooms. Martin had already taken the other remaining bedroom.
"I would take her to the room," Martin said and Bryce knew he was taking Zora to his room.
"Okay," Bryce replied and took Angela to their room. "Get some rest. I will be with you soon. I need to discuss something very important with Martin," he said once they were inside the room and Angela nodded.
"I would go shower," Angela said and started walking towards the bathroom after kissing Bryce on the lips.
Inside Martin's room, Martin moved his things out of the way so Zora could feel comfortable.
"This is your room?" Zora asked watching Martin pack male stuff into a bag which he zipped up after.
"That was before," Martin replied.
"Thank you," Zora said staring at Martin with a smile.
"Get some rest. I am going out," Martin said feeling a bit awkward.
He had never kissed a girl before. Zora was the first girl to kiss him and the memory is stuck with him making him feel a little awkward around Zora.
Martin managed to get himself out of the door and after taking in a deep breath, he walked towards the staircase to meet up with Bryce in his study.
"Are you alright?" Bryce asked as soon as Martin walked in.
"Yes, boss," Martin replied and Bryce just stared at him for a while.
"Okay, do we have the evidence now to put her behind bars?" Bryce asked.
"Yes," Martin replied and walked up to the shelf in the study.
Martin pulled a file out of the shelf and placed it on Bryce's desk. Bryce went through it.
"Good, you know who to call. Do that now and have these two picked up," Bryce said.
"Yes, boss," Martin acknowledged and headed out to do as Bryce had commanded.
At the Moore family house, Susan had arrived and was heading inside.
"Good, you are here. We have to leave now," Devon said and Susan smiled.
"Relax. Read the news first," Susan said feeling all relaxed.
"Susan, Bryce took down the Davis family. He is coming for us. Let's leave," Devon said. "The fact that Patricia was not his mum and Elena was not his sister, does not mean he would not come after you," he added.
"Dad relax. The police suspect Angela may not be a victim and probably planned this whole thing. Bryce would have to clear her first, and I don't think he would when he sees the other news about Angela's infidelity," Susan said and dropped herself on the couch.
Devon pulled his phone out and read the details. He had only seen the headlines about Matilda's arrest but he didn't read the details. He read the details and Susan smiled at him.
"You see," Susan said.
"Sure looks like you are not the focus yet," Devon said and called one of his servants to bring him a bottle of wine and two glasses.
The two were celebrating when the servant who had brought them the drink came to report to Devon that some officers were looking for him. Devon frowned immediately.
"Stay here, don't come out," Devon said and exited the study.
He walked to the door and indeed there were four officers at the door.
"We have a warrant to arrest Susan McClean," one of the officers said after showing Devon his barge.
"I am sorry, she is not here," Devon said.
"Okay," the officer said and walked away.
Devon watched them get into their car and drove out of his compound. He went back inside.
"Look, you have to leave. Bryce is after you," he said and gave Susan a black card and the key to his four-wheel. "You can't go through the airport. You will have to drive to the next town and book a flight from there," he said. "Use my black card to fuel the car for the journey. I would find you," he said and pecked her forehead.
Susan did as Devon had said and drove out of the compound. She kept checking behind her as she drove toward the main road. She joined the main road but before she could make her first turn, her car was surrounded by police cars.
"Ma'am you are under arrest," the officer who opened the door for Susan said.
Susan came out of the car with her hands up in the air.
"Your deeds have found you out. You think you can commit a crime, frame someone and freely walk in this state?" came Bryce's voice.
Susan turned around to find Bryce standing next to one of the police cars with Martin. He was using crutches. The media had already arrived, taking pictures of Susan as she was cuffed and pulled towards one of the packed police cars.
Martin received a call and answered it.
"Sir, they have found Mrs Anderson," Martin reported to Bryce.
"Good, let's go get her," Bryce said and got into the car.
Martin got behind the wheel and drove in the direction of the Davis family house. After a couple of minutes of driving, they arrived at the apartment and were received by a servant.
Bryce and Martin stepped out of the car and followed the servant into the apartment.
"Mrs Anderson was in this building all this while?" Bryce asked surprised but the servant didn't say anything except lead the way.
They soon found themselves inside a basement with a huge machine sitting close to the wall.
"Where is Mrs Anderson?" Bryce asked seeing the room was empty.
"There she is?" the servant said pointing to something.
Bryce and Martin stared at what the servant was pointing at and they were both shocked to the bone not sure what they were staring at.
