(Nine Cards of Delta) 16

Ch. 121 / 308 Apr 01, 2025

Silhouette

"Sorry, but this event is only for registered and invited guests," said a man in a suit when he stopped us.

Third, I impatiently raised the card we got.

The man immediately bowed to us before letting us in.

"Are we going to split up, boss? You're on the left and I'm on the right?" I whispered to him.

"What?" frowned when he asked.

I laughed awkwardly. "'Cause girls are always right."

He just stared at me so I immediately closed my mouth.

"Follow me," he said coldly and barely touched my wrist.

I just followed him, he knew what we were going to do. I might just swallow it.

The two of us sat at an empty table, I just watched my boss seriously observing the guests at this event.

"Boss, smile, maybe later we'll be noticed here as gatecrashers, go ahead," I said and punched him lightly on the shoulder.

He moaned before staring at me. "Silhouette, focus."

I bit my lower lip to close this ass mouth. Why can't I keep quiet?

I looked up when he suddenly stood up. He took off the coat he was wearing and laid it on me.

"I'll try to have a conversation with the governor, just stay right here and don't do stupid things, Silhouette," he instructed.

"Will you leave me here?" I will ask.

"I have to," he replied.

"Awts, gege."

I nodded and watched him leave.

I just leaned back in my seat and smelled the coat wrapped around me.

"Third's scent really, when I become his jowa I might not let go of it," I whispered to myself.

I smiled at the thought, just in case I didn't type then, it's a very cold amputee. It's like just a little bit of it will hit you, e.

I pulled the cellphone out of my pocket when it rang. I frowned when I saw the landline number at home.

"Hello?" I will ask.

"Ate Silhouette?" Si Pow Pow?

"Hey, kid, how did you know my number?" I said in amazement.

He giggled on the other line. "Sister, we were taught earlier how to use cellphones at home in case something happens."

"Why, you're moving up, Pow Pow. Maybe when I come home you'll be driving a car," I said smiling.

"Sister really, where are you now, sister? Why don't you go home?" he asked.

"I'm in practice now, Pow Pow," I replied.

"Ah, okay, sister," he added.

He's a really smart kid, I remember what I told him. Pow Pow knew this was my job, and we gave each other a code. I'm on a mission when I say isprikitik, it's like a fool, isn't it.

"Why did you call?" I promise.

"I'm just worried, sister. Maybe you've been hurt, I can't sleep," he said with a tinge of humiliation.

I laughed. "That's okay, there are minions around the house so you don't have to worry."

"I'm not worried about myself, about you, sister." I smiled.

"Why should you worry about me? You know that I am the most powerful goddess on the face of the earth," I said laughing.

"Just sister, be careful, I don't want to hurt you," he added, widening my smile.

"Yes, go ahead, I'll take care of you." I even laughed after saying that.

But I was shocked when suddenly someone took my cell phone.

Turning around, the angry Third opened up at me. He glared at me before turning off the call, he even pushed my cellphone on the table.

"Why, you're shameless, do you know how expensive my cellphone is? When it's damaged, I'll really tap it on your throat," I said annoyedly and hugged my cell phone a little.

"What's your name?" he asked coldly.

"Pikachu," I replied.

The mixture on his face immediately worsened. I was still backing away when he suddenly sat down and approached me.

"Just a joke! Damn, you're scary, eh! It's nothing," I added immediately.

"Then why are you fucking smiling like that while talking to whoever that bastard is?" he asked emphatically while still looking bad at me.

"Pow Pow, my child. The child I take care of at home, didn't I tell you before?" I whispered softly.

The frown on his forehead disappeared. "You should have told me, I'm sorry for shouting at you."

I breathed a sigh of relief as his black aura disappeared. "I was nervous there, you idiot, don't be like that, boss. I'm stupid but I'm afraid of you," I admit.

He stroked my hair before parting the hair that covered my face.

"I'm not mad, I'll never get mad at you, I said I'm sorry," he calmly replied.

"Weh? You won't be mad at me? What if I burn down our headquarters? You won't kill me?" I challenge myself.

He just leaned back in his chair and turned to the other guests. "It's easy to build another one, a Silhouette."

I was stunned. "Wow, legit, you're a rich man. How is your family rich? Tell your father to adopt me so that I can become Knights too. "

He replied without looking at me. "There's a better way to make you a Knight."

What?

"You're stunned again, what are you whispering there? What? How's the chit chat with the governor?" I will ask.

"I didn't talk to him, it's boring to do that. I just eavesdropped while he's talking to Sen. Santillan," he replied.

I nodded.

"What were they talking about?" I will ask.

"The transaction will happen at 9:00 PM, while this event is being held with the other guests." My eyes widened at what he said.

"Shit, it's 8:00 PM, tangek. When are we going to do ninja moves?" I whispered.

I saw how the corner of his lip lifted. "We're actually starting right now, Silhouette."
